Många förskolor har idag tillgång till lärplattor och det har mer eller mindre blivit omöjligt förförskollärare att inte ta ställning till hur de vill arbeta med dessa. Denna studie har belyst olika konstellationer som barn kan arbeta i med lärplattan; med en förskollärare, utan förskollärare i par och på egen hand. Studien undersöker om användandet av lärplattan som medierande verktyg för läs- och skrivutveckling blir annorlunda beroende av vilka förutsättningar förskollärare möjliggör för barnen i förskolans verksamhet. Studiens problemområde är relevant att undersöka då vi tidigare, under bland annat VFU-perioder, stött på uppfattningen att lärplattan ses som en börda istället för ett verktyg för potentiellt lärande. Förskollärare behöver vara medvetna om hur olika konstellationer synliggör innehållet när lärplattan används i verksamheten.

Studiens syfte är att undersöka vilka styrmekanismer som förekommer i innovationsintensiva organisationer och hur dessa påverkar innovationsförmågan. På detta sätt är förhoppningen att skapa en förståelse kring samspelet mellan ledarskap, individ och organisation. Arbetet har utförts genom en fallstudie med en komparativ design. Då syftet är att skapa en förståelse kring studieobjekten har vi utgått ifrån en tolkande ansats och uteslutande använt kvalitativ data. Studien har genomförts på fyra organisationer: Gambro, BMC, BioInvent och Jolife.

This essay derives from the concern that horses ridden with a bit in their mouth can be subjected to strong pressure from the bit if the horse and rider do not understand each other. The horse's mucosa membrane and the tongue are very sensitive tissues (Cook, 1999; Manfredi, 2005; Oliveira, 2005; Terada, 2006) and the bit can then be a source of pain and discomfort. The training of the horse should therefore always be a step by step process and as the horse develops difficulties are increased. Oliveira (2005) suggested that high demands can be placed on the horse but to be successful in the training it is essential to be content with small progress and reward the slightest desired response from the horse. This corresponds with the principles of operant conditioning with negative reinforcement.

Syftet med denna litteraturöversikt var att beskriva den hälsorelaterade livskvaliteten hos patienter med en implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD).  Studien genomfördes som en litteraturöversikt, där tolv vetenskapliga artiklar av kvantitativ karaktär analyserades och användes i studiens resultatdel.  Sökorden som användes var Defibrillators, Implantable, Quality of Life och health related. Inklusionskriterier var artiklar skrivna på engelska, peer-reviewed, publicerade från år 2000 och framåt samt deltagarna i dessa studier skulle vara 19 år eller äldre. I studien framkom det att ICD-patienter undvek specifika platser, objekt och fysiska aktiviteter relaterade till ICD:n. Också en oro över bilkörning framkom.  ICD-patienter utsätts för en förändring i livssituation och är i behov av stöd och individuell informationsgivning gällande deras medicintekniska anordning.

The aim of this two years master's thesis is to examine whether there are any gender based differences in the waymale and female researchers within library and information science publish and reference to other researchers.This within the Swedish context. Further, the aim is to examine the probability of gender playing a part in choiceof subject, which thereby also would effect the act of referencing. This is achieved through an analysis ofreference lists in the journal Svensk Biblioteksforskning between the years 1989 to 2009. The journal containsboth peer reviewed articles, as well as articles of a more popular scientific kind. As guidance during the study, ahandful of questions were used.

Trycksår är en komplikation hos patienter med höftfraktur som ofta tillskrivs sängläge men som kan uppstå vid olika långvariga inaktivitet och belastningstillstånd. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att undersöka eventuellt sambandet mellan nutrition och förebyggandet av trycksår hos patienter över 65 år med genomgången höftfraktur. En systematisk databassökning har skett i Pubmed och Cinahl. Denna studie genomfördes för att söka relevanta vetenskapliga artiklar och sju artiklar selekterades. Författarna fann att olika näringsämnen framförallt serumalbumin, arginin, zink, vitamin C kan påverka sårläkningsprocessen.

The main purpose of this master thesis is to explore a selection of Swedish librarians view of professional ethics. The latest master thesis written on the subject was published in 1997, which concluded that the Swedish public librarians had a poor awareness concerning professional ethics. We wanted to investigate if something had changed. We interviewed six librarians from five public libraries, asking them questions concerning ethical guidelines, responsibility, censorship and selection, pressure from lobbyists, and ethical problems relating to Internet. The answers we got gave the impression of a divided profession, and the librarian?s awareness of professional ethics can hardly be said to have been improved since 1997.

The Swedish government have a goal that wind turbines shall produce 30 TWh by the year 2020, compared to about 3,5 TWh produced in Sweden during 2010. To minimize the disturbance that wind turbines create the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency has stated a guideline value that noise from wind turbines at nearby residents shouldn?t exceed 40 dBA, at 8 m/s wind speed. With advanced calculation models, like Nord 2000, the emitted sound from future wind turbines can be calculated at an early stage to optimize the power production without exceeding the 40 dBA. When the turbines have been built there is a need to verify that they really are within the guideline.

The purpose of this study was to describe how adolescents aged 12-18 years with inflammatory bowel disease experience their illness and what coping strategies they use to manage their illness and improve their wellbeing. The method used was a descriptive literature study, and the result of the study included 15 scientific articles. Our results showed that IBD affected the adolescent?s everyday life and social life with friends, family and activities. The adolescents also reported that they experienced a feeling of vulnerability, altered body image and that they saw themselves as different from healthy subjects.

This report discusses the development of lessons based on laborations for middle and high school.The purpose of the project was to research the possibility to affect students' attitude towards physicsthrough well-planned stimulating lessons. The lessons were based on the Light and Lasers OutreachKit, a teaching package made by the organisation Laser Classroom, and have been adapted for physicsin middle and high school. The lessons were developed on a pedagogical and didactical ground andwere improved with surveys and peer and self assessment. The lessons were based on laser light and itsproperties.
