The overall aim of this study is to clarify the situation in school for children with language disorder from the parents? perspective.Data were collected through five interviews with parents who have children of different ages and with various diagnosis within the language disorder spectra. A qualitative method based on a narrative inquiry was used and each interview was based on a interview guide with the following themes: the child?s difficulties, starting school, the school?s pedagogy, homework, action plans, participation and the future.Each story has its own themes, but there are also themes that are common in all interviews. One common theme in the parents? stories is that school has a lack of knowledge when it comes to language disorder.

The main purpose was to develop norms for the Five to fifteen questionnaire ? toddlers? version (FTF-S) in children aged 25?40 months. Apartial aim was to validate the language domain of the FTF-S against the linguistic scale in the test Bayley Scales of Infant Development ? thirdedition (Bayley-III). Another partial aim was to analyze parents' experiences of the FTF-S in order to provide suggestions for further development.

 The purpose with this thesis was to develop a designguideline which will simplify the development of new products that will be laser welded. The need for this thesis has come forward from the quality problems that Volvo Construction Equipment, Components Division is having with their laser welding manufacturing unit. The reason for the problems emerges from the bad communication between the development unit and the manufacturing unit within the company when the products produced today was developed. This resulted in products that were hard to and in some cases almost impossible to weld. To avoid these problems from occurring again it was needed to gather the experiences within this area and compile it and present in a brief a pedagogical manner. The information for the groundwork of our results has been gathered by interviews of several key persons in Volvo Construction Equipment, Components Division.

Thee purpose of this study was to examine what helps in counseling against women victims of domestic violence, and how to identify empowerment in their experiences? It is a qualitative study using semi-structured interviews where the collected material is based on five interviews. The group we studied is victims of domestic violence who had taken part of counseling. The interviews were based on an interview guide that sought answers to women´s experience of counseling. The interviews were analyzed with the help of theories of support, domestic violence and empowerment.

I denna undersökning granskas 31 texter skrivna av elever i årskurs 7 höstterminen 2011. Samtliga texter är skrivna efter samma på förhand fastställda uppgift. Metodmässigt har texterna granskats genom en närläsning strukturerad av ett analysschema.  Undersökningen syftar till att besvara följande frågeställningar:- Vilka är de texttypsmässiga styrkorna och svagheterna i elevtexterna?- Hur ser samspelet ut mellan berättandet och argumenterandet i elevtexterna?- Vilka typer av kunskaper i argumentation visar sig i elevtexterna?Sammanfattningsvis visar studien att eleverna kan föra fram en tes och argument som stödjer tesen. Dock finns det utrymme för förbättring vad det gäller skapandet av disposition.

I denna studie har en enkätstudie på Hemköpsbutiker mynnat ut i ett svar kring hur de anställda ser på sin butikschef och om denna uppfattning kan kopplas till hur pass väl butiken presterar rent ekonomiskt, i termer av bruttovinst och finansnetto. I denna studie är det butikschefer inom Hemköpskedjan som studeras. Unikt för denna studie är att den utgår ifrån de anställdas uppfattning, istället för som i många tidigare studier där forskaren fungerade som observatör och iakttog den chef som skulle studeras. Utgångspunkten och hur definitionen av en ledare skall göras grundar sig i denna studie på Gary Yukls ledarskapsteorier kring faktorer som han kallar trait och skills.  De resultat som redovisas är till största del att flera av de egenskaper och kunskaper som en god ledare ska uppvisa både efterfrågas av de anställda i båda butikerna samt att de även anser att respektive butikschef faktiskt uppvisar någorlunda liknande egenskaper och kunskaper i båda butikerna. Det skiljer sig markant i uppfattningen mellan de anställda på respektive butik i få av de definierade egenskaperna och kunskaperna..

The purpose of this paper is to study how professional police officers perceive learning in their work. Metod: Datan som anv?nds ?r baserad p? sekund?ra data inh?mtat via Pep Skola mellan ?ren 2020?2024. Totalt inrapporterats 2996 skattningar via verktyget och efter bearbetning av inrapporteringarna enligt exklusion- och inklusionskriterier bestod urvalet av 1277 registreringar/skattningar. Datan analyserades via kvantitativa och kvalitativa analysmetoder f?r att kunna besvara studiens fr?gest?llningar. Resultat: Resultaten visar att skolor med ett h?gre SEI, det vill s?ga l?gre socioekonomisk status, tenderar att skatta sig l?gre i arbetet med h?lsosamma matvanor i skolan, speciellt g?llande elevers delaktighet, inkluderandet av skolm?ltidspersonalen, uppf?ljandet av matsvinn och n?rvaron under skolm?ltiden.

AbstractThe aim of this study is to highlight the professional?s perspectives and work with young girls who have eating disorder anorexia nervousa. We assume a social constructivist perspective where the professional?s interpretations and perspectives on the issue anorexia considered. The study is based on a qualitative analysis of interviews with seven professionals in the areas of work, social services, school counselor, school nurse, anorexia unit and child and adolescent psychiatry (BUP).From a thematic analysis of the interviews, three themes emerged.

My interest in examining what happens when you as a teenager are exposed to five or six times the amount of time as ordinary classes to music education derrives from my own experience as a music teacher at a school which has those kind of special music classes. During my career as a music teacher in grades 4 ? 9 in Swedish compulsory school I have taught music classes as well as ordinary classes for 18 years. During this time I have often wondered what this exposure means in retrospect. Is it the conquering and mastering of music skills that students remember when they?ve grown up to young adults, or is it something else?The aim of this study is to find out what it means for teenagers to have music as a school subject every day of their years in Swedish high school.

The study has examined how some immigrants have managed to reestablish their professional careers in Sweden. Through in-depth-interviewing with six immigrant informants representing different genders, age and professional experience the process of successfully reestablishing a career within the same professional area in Sweden as in their native country is examined.The study looked at structural and individual possibilities and obstacles which affected the individual. In addition the study looked at the personal characteristics and strategies used by the informants to overcome and succeed in adapting and reestablishing their working life.  The study has drawn on human capital and social capital theory for a basic understanding of how education and skills affect. In addition the informants have surpassed structural barriers affecting many other immigrants.

The aim of this thesis is to ascertain how primary school teachers would like to improve their mathematics teaching. The central questions for this research are:In what ways do teachers want to improve their mathematics teaching?How do the teachers justify their statements?What main features can be distinguished out of the teachers answers?Three interviews and seven surveys have been used to collect information from a total of nine teachers, at one primary school. Teaching pupils from preschool to sixth grade. The results have been analysed, interpreted and discussed using a drama pedagogical perspective, inspired by a holistic approach to learning.

Avsikten med min undersökning var att få mer kunskap om hur förskolepersonal arbetar med pedagogisk dokumentation som ett arbetsverktyg i deras dagliga verksamhet. Det är ett arbetsverktyg som ska tillämpas av all förskolepersonal ute i verksamheten.För att ta reda på vilka erfarenheter förskolepersonal har av pedagogisk dokumentation var en kvalitativ intervjumetod det bästa sättet eftersom informanterna genom en kvalitativ metod får svara på frågorna utifrån deras egna erfarenheter. Jag vill också ta reda på hur de gör för att synliggöra varje barns behov.Jag har hänvisat till och använt relevanta tidigare undersökningar för att analysera resultaten från min studie.Resultaten visar att pedagogisk dokumentation är ett arbetsverktyg som ska användas för att synliggöra verksamheten och barnens lärprocesser. Lärprocesser sker när barnen utmanas i deras lärande, där nya idéer och kunskaper växer fram. På så sätt finns det möjlighet att strukturera verksamheten utifrån barnens olika behov och intressen menar mina informanter.

Reading and analyzing literature has a long tradition of being an essential part of the teaching of English in Sweden. As the offers of entertainment have increased in popular culture with the introduction of computer games, internet and other media, interest in reading novels has decreased. Literature is still a compulsory part of English teaching and the question is how teachers of today use literature and what kind of literary instruction they use.The aim of this study is to explore and discuss the literary instruction discourse in pedagogical texts, lessons, created by and for English teachers of Swedish Upper Secondary Schools. The lessons have been collected from the site lektion.se, where teachers are able to share knowledge and lessons. The study uses an analytical method based on Norman Fairclough´s Critical Discourse Analysis in order to analyze the lessons.

The aim of this two year master thesis is to study the knowledge production within the field of Textile Studies at Uppsala University, with special focus on the use of artifact documentation as a research method. With domain analysis as a theoretical framework, ontological and epistemological assumptions as well as historical and social aspects are studied in relation to the research process. Qualitative research methods are used, including interviews, observations and text analysis. In the analysis of the knowledge processes in the field, perspectives on tacit knowledge and the concept of documents, are used as a theoretical basis. In the field of Textile Studies, the artifacts are used as one of the main objects of study, along with archival and pictorial sources. The main epistemological assumptions are that artifact analysis is dependent on a knowledge base, where technical handicraft skills, contextual knowledge and practical experience of object observation are the most important qualifications.
