This master thesis was written for Arla Foods and the result of the thesisserves to gain Arla Foods in its work with chemical hazardous and to bringnew academic results. The thesis aims to create a common methodology forrisk analysis with the handling of chemicals.The theories displayed in this thesis focuses on different risk managementmethods in order to build up a framework out of which a risk management toolwas created. The main primary data source consists of interviews held withemployees within Arla Foods at different facilities.The risk management tool can be found in appendix K.Available recommendations for how to evaluate risks with chemicals can befound at appropriate government agencies. These recommendations aredrawn up to suite small and medium enterprises and therefore are to narrowto make a good foundation for analysing chemical risks at large companies.With the legislation and government demands in mind, a tool has beencreated to fit a large company?s needs when managing chemical risks.

The fundamental prohibitions against anti-competitive agreements and abuse of a dominant position are set out in the EC Treaty, articles 81 and 82 respective CL 6 and 19 §. EU: s objectives can be said to promote economic and social development within the community. These objectives will be achieved, among other things, through the establishment of a common internal market. In order to achieve a common market, where companies from different nations compete on equal conditions, it is not enough to prevent the member states from distortion of competition in the market. The free competition and thereby the advantages the common market is assumed to create, can also be limited through measures taken by companies.

Uppsatsens syfte är att förklara Tetra Pak bolagens rådande inköpsmönster gällande icke produktrelaterade varor och tjänster samt utreda hur avtalslojaliteten kan ökas. För att uppfylla syftet genomfördes en fallstudie på Tetra Pak. I enlighet med det positivistiska synsättet utformades en enkät för att kartlägga Tetra Pak bolagens IPV-inköp. Enkätsvaren följdes sedan upp med intervjuer som fokuserade på anledningarna till rådande inköpsmönster. För att förstärka studiens generaliserbarhet utfördes också mindre ingående fallstudier av fem andra företag.

De flesta organisationer använder idag informationssystem i sin verksamhet. Ofta har man flera olika system för att lösa olika problem och för att stödja olika funktioner i en organisa¬tion. När en organisation har två eller flera informationssystem som är fristående från varandra riskerar man att hamna i en situation där ett behov att koppla ihop dessa uppstår. Anledningar till detta kan till exempel vara att man vill göra informationen tillgänglig eller effektivisera verksamheten. Fallstudien har undersökt vilka orsaker till, och motiv för, integration som individer i en organisation anser ligga bakom ett upplevt integrationsbehov.

171 miljoner människor i hela världen har diabetes enligt World Health Organisations (WHO) senaste undersökning år 2000. Den kroniska sjukdomen påverkar individens hälsa och syftet med magisteruppsatsen är att undersöka om diabetiker har fler sjukskrivningstillfällen och sjukskrivningsdagar än icke-diabetiker? Uppsatsen empirisk data kommer från HILDA (Health and Individuals Longitudinal Data and Analysis) och teorin baseras på Grossmans ekonomiska teori om individens hälsoinvesteringsbeteende (2000) samt Kristian Bolin et als (2002) utökning av Grossman teori. Ekvationerna i uppsatsen bygger på teorin men det är nya hälsomått på efterfrågan på och investeringen i hälsa; sjukskrivningsdagar ? respektive sjukskrivningstillfällen.

Problemformulering. Varför valde ledningen att outsourca? Hur påverkas de anställdas av att företaget outsourcat? Vilka skyldigheter har arbetsgivare och anställd gentemot varandra?Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur de anställda påverkas av att ledningen beslutar sig för att outsourca, genom att definiera skyldigheter i det psykologiska kontraktet.Teorin definierar outsourcing. Outsourcing innebär att tjänster och varor som tidigare producerats internt övertas av en extern leverantör. Teorin presenterar även de vanligaste motiven till att ledningen väljer att outsourca och vilka risker som företaget utsättas för när de väljer att lägga ut aktiviteter hos en extern leverantör.

The main purpose of this study was to collect norm data for thegrammatical receptive language test Test for Reception of Grammar - Version 2(TROG-2), from 144 Swedish children, aged 8:0-9:11 years. Another aim was toinvestigate whether a change in the order of the blocks was needed in the Swedishversion of TROG-2 to keep an increasing level of difficulty. Other aims included toinvestigate the relationship between receptive grammar and word decoding, andbetween parents ratings of their children?s language comprehension and readingabilities and the children?s results on the TROG-2 and a word decoding test. Theresults showed that the order of the blocks needs to be changed and that there wasno significant relationship between language comprehension and word decoding.Parents were better at rating their children?s reading than language comprehension..

The purpose of this study is to learn about educationalists´ apprehensions and their experiences of working with action programmes within the compulsory school's earlier years. Two issues have been composed in order to meet this purpose. They are also the foundation of the interview questions, which are enclosed at the end of the essay.The purpose with the issues is to look into educationalists´ work with action programmes. Another purpose is to find out how they consider an action programme should be formulated in order to function as a support for students in need of special aid.From the study the result shows that the apprehensions of working with action programmes are separating from one teacher to another. The informants of the study indicate the importance differs inviting both pupils and parents to participate in the entire process.

Bakgrund: Individualiseringen är något det talas om alltmer i dagens samhälle, men som samtidigt är vetenskapligt omtvistad, vilket visar på någon typ av paradox. Denna studie tar utgångspunkt i individualiseringen som diskurs, och vill undersöka om och hur den påverkat framställningar i samhällskunskapsböcker. Därmed prövas också teorin om läroboken som ett snabbföränderligt medium när det gäller politiskt laddade frågor.Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka i vilken utsträckning läroboksframställningar påverkas av samhälleliga diskurser, och att se huruvida individualiseringsdiskursen är en sådan typ av fråga som kan påverka framställningarna.Metod: Med en kvalitativ textanalys undersöks framställningar av arbetsliv och näringsliv i läroböcker i samhällskunskap för gymnasiet. Som analysinstrument används dimensionerna individfokus/kollektivfokus samt uttryck för individualism/uttryck för kollektivism. Sammanlagt sex böcker analyseras, två utgivna ca 1990, två utgivna ca 2000 och två utgivna ca 2010.Resultat: Individualiseringsdiskursen har påverkat framställningar i läroböcker.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka och analysera IASBs framgång och tillit som internationell standardsättare, då nya standarder utvecklas i samarbete med FASB.Undersökningen har genomförts utifrån en induktiv ansats. Metoden har gått ut på att analysera artiklar och comment letters, för att sedan knyta an denna empiri med vår teoretiska referensram. Det teoretiska perspektivet har i stor omfattning utgått ifrån att beskriva den institutionella teorin. Utifrån teorin undersöks vilka formella och informella regler, normer och värderingar som styr organisationen och den institutionella miljö där IASB verkar. I empirin framförs åsikter från comment letters, artiklar och dokument.

Pomace is the solid remains (i.e. stems, pulp, seeds, and skins) after pressing for juice. The annual production of apple pomace is 593 000 ton worldwide. Its field of application depends on local conditions. In order to investigate the field of application of apple pomace in the Southern Sweden, six persons on companies with production of apple juice were interviewed.

Our paper is targeting mainly students, but also all other people interested in social work with children. The purpose of our study was to investigate how the social workers experience and handle their work with children, who have been exposed to sexual abuse, and what kind of support and guidance the social workers are offered, in order to handle their working situation. We chose to perform a qualitative study, by the use of interviews, since we found it to be the most appropriate way to gather the information. Our conclusion is that the work with these issues is emotionally burdensome and requires a great commitment, however it is essential for the social workers to maintain a certain distance to their work, in order not to influence their personal lives. It is through experience and knowledge that the social workers learn how to handle their working situation. We also learned that although the work with sexual abuse against children gave birth to different emotions of the social worker, the social workers feel satisfaction with their work, by helping the exposed children. We hope that our paper will inspire and encourage to further studies in the area, since there is still much to be explored. .

In the beginning of the 21st century, a number of scandals were pointed out in the US. Enterprises like WorldCom and Enron went into bankruptcy, and inaccuracies in their account were made public. This led to the fact that a new law, SOX 404, was established in the US. The law says in its whole that enterprises must have better control of their internal accounts.The aim with this paper is to examine how the surrounding world of an organization with stakeholders as well as other surrounding elements, affect or force an organization to change, and how a changing process is introduced and accomplished.We carried through a survey as well as interviews at the actual organization. Furthermore, we investigated why the change has come into practice as well as attitudes and opinions towards the change, and lastly, how the changing process has been accomplished.

The purpose with our essay was to describe and understand the treatment of the homehelp staff towards the elderly addicted caretakers within the care system. Both in a practical aspect as well as in an attitudinal aspect. In order to get the answers to our overall purpose of our essay, we had as a starting point the following questions:* What help is given to the elderly addicted caretakers?* Are the elderly addicted caretakers a stigmatized caretaker group?* What approach does the home help staff conduct towards the elderly addicted caretakers?* Is there a preparedness among the home help staff when it comes to as to whether or not a care taker has an addiction issue or not?When analysing the material we used a qualitative analytical method in order to understand the care givers treatment towards the addicted caretakers. We combined the interviews with the so called vinjett technique; furthermore we used various sociological theories as well as earlier scientific discoveries.The result of the essay was that elderly addicted caretakers are an exposed group.

The purpose of this essay is to examine the approach of the EU towards the reform efforts of Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the countries ambitions for EU memberships. The question formulation of the essay is whether there is differences in Turkey?s and Bosnia and Herzegovina?s qualifications for an EU-membership from an EU perspective. In order to better answer the question, we use two part questions. One is about the criterias and qualifications that need to be met in order to get a membership.
