An important process for grid companies in order to reduce power losses in electricity distribution grids is to figure out where and how they appear. This report describes the factors that cause power losses in low voltage distribution grids and methods for how they could be measured and analyzed. Measurement data for consumed and injected energy were collected for twelve low voltage distribution grids owned by Gävle Energi AB in order to analyze the size of the power losses and how the measurement uncertainty affects the collected data. Then models of three of the grids were created in MATLAB in order to analyze the data and the power losses were calculated to be compared to the collected data. Curve fitting were also used as a method in order to analyze the power losses from collected data.The results show that the losses in the studied grids are low.

Syftet med studien är att analysera om, och i så fall hur, Försvarsmaktens sjukvårdskoncept tillvaratar krigsvetenskaplig teori. Genom en kvalitativ ansats och användning av främst fallstudier analyseras praktisk verksamhet under insatserna NBG 11 och FS 22 jämfört teorin. Inom sjukvårdstjänstens tre principiella områden (medicinskt understöd, medicinsk evakueringskedja och planering av medicinskt understöd i operationsområdet) tillvaratas krigsvetenskaplig teori men det framkommer också att praktisk verksamhet har ett behov av större tydlighet och mer detaljrikedom än vad befintlig teori erbjuder. Vagheten i teorin möjliggör dock flexibla lösningar och skapande av modulära system förutsatt att ledningen är förutseende och har godasambandsmöjligheter.Då antalet fall är få blir generaliserbarheten av resultatet begränsat. Sjukvårdskonceptet anpassas alltid efter rådande förutsättningarna och fördjupad förståelse för konceptet är viktigare än generaliserbarheten av resultatet..

Background: The last few years a globalization of the capital market has occurred. This have led to that it is more important for the companies that their financial information can be compared with other companies in order to compete on same grounds. In order to fa-cilitate for the companies within EU to compete with other companies and in order to strive for an internal market EU decided that IFRS should be used by all listed companies within the union.Problem: In 2006 the first financial reports according to IFRS will be published, and then it will be interesting to investigate how the companies have chosen to communicate the transition to its stakeholders. According to IFRS some information is compulsive but the companies have chosen to disclose voluntary information to a different degree.Purpose: The purpose of this study is to describe to what extent the Swedish listed com-panies have reported the transition to IFRS in their consolidated financial statements.Method: In this essay a quantitative method have been chosen in order to find general re-lations. The data collection is done with help of an evaluation model that have been devel-oped for this study.

The aim of this study was to determine the self-perceived learning needs in patients with Coronary Heart Disease (CHD). CHD is the leading cause of death worldwide. Poor compliance is one of the causes of rehospitalisation. Patients suffering from CHD need education in order to manage their disease and prevent readmission to hospital. As hospital stays diminish the time available for patient education is limited.

The aim of this study was to investigate people?s ability to detect deception and if variables such as birth order, personality and suspiciousness affect this ability. The study was conducted at Växjö University with students as participants (n = 278). A film of two people arguing both for and against their own personal opinions was constructed and participants assessed credibility on a categorical scale (Honest/Dishonest). Neither birth order nor level of suspiciousness revealed significant differences as pertains to credibility attribution.

Syftet med denna studie var att studera sambandet mellan depression, ångest och dissociation. Studien grundar sig i både den psykoanalytiska teorin och den kognitiva teorin. Som deltagare valdes 90 studenter vid en högskola i södra Sverige och som materiel användes tre frågeformulär: ett dissociationsformulär, ett depressionsformulär och ett ångestformulär. Resultaten i denna studie visar på att det inte är någon skillnad i förekomsten av depression mellan män och kvinnor. Depression och ångest har en stark bindning till varandra.

The construction business is one of the most accident prone businesses in Sweden. In order to make it safer it?s vital that all employees of a company report all accidents and incidents that occur. This report intends through qualitative interviews, to analyze the knowledge and attitude towards incident reporting among the employees of the Swedish construction contractor JM.The goal of the thesis work is to hopefully contribute to an increase of employees? awareness on those issues.

 The aim with this essay is to examine the individual's expectations in the meeting with a job coach. It has become all more common with job coaches, in order to meet the unemployment in the society. The survey builds on a quantitative method, where 29 individuals who are linked to a changeover-program towards new jobs, have replied to a questionnaire. The survey shows that the participants have expectations on the coach as a supporting function. There is also a trust to that the contact with a coach will lead to new employment.

The European Court of Justice, the ECJ, has the governing function in the Union as a guardian of law and justice. This study concerns the complete oeuvre by the British author Helen Zahavi: Dirty Weekend (1991), True Romance (1994), and Donna and the Fatman (1998). Her novels are here read as a trilogy dealing with the dialectics of gender and violence in 20th century discourse, drawing on theories of how the construction of subjects is produced by power, of the relation between power and sexuality.The heroines of Zahavi?s novels try their best to move about in a world where their freedom of movement is limited to their female identity. In Dirty Weekend the protagonist tries to shoot her way out, claiming revenge on every man that is forcing himself upon her. She gains some freedom of movement by refusing subordination, but does not really change the order of power.

This is a thesis written for a master's degree at the Computer Vision Laboratory, University of Linköping. An abstract outer product is defined and used as a bridge to reach 2:nd and 4:th order tensors. Some applications of these in geometric analysis of range data are discussed and illustrated. In idealized setups, simple geometric objects, like spheres or polygons, are successfully detected. Det har i sin tur ökat betydelsen utav samarbetet mellan moderbolaget och dess dotterbolag. Expatriates skickas utomlands av sina företag av många anledningar, det kan vara för att föra in moderbolagets företagskultur till dotterbolag eller tillföra spetskompetens som dotterbolaget saknar. Anledningarna kan variera men det har blivit allt viktigare för företaget och expatriaten att se till att han/hon kommer in i samhället och jobbet på ett bra sätt. I den här uppsatsen har vi valt att jämföra teori och empiri för att se hur dess stämmer överens med varandra med hänseende till vilka problem som uppkommer när svenska expatriaten kommer till Japan.

Laborationer är en del i naturvetenskapliga ämnen, där eleverna får praktisk erfarenhet av teorin. För att ta reda på mer om elevers lärande av laborationer, används som utgångspunkt litteratur om lärande, lärande i naturvetenskap och lärande med laborationer. Forskare har olika åsikter om laborationers användbarhet, vilket lett fram till frågorna: Hur påverkas elevernas förståelse av teorin, genom att laborera om den? Vad anser eleverna om laborationer som ett tillfälle att fördjupa sin kunskap? Detta undersöktes med kvalitativa metoder, där både enkäter och intervjuer användes. Frågorna var både kunskapsfrågor, förståelsefrågor och frågor om vad eleverna själva anser om laborationer.

The purpose of this essay is to highlight the conceptions that exist in school towards homosexuality. My overall essay questions are: What rules does the school have to apply concerning homosexuality? What approach do the professors have towards young lesbian women and kind of support is offered to the group? In order to answer these questions I interviewed a professor and a young lesbian female. One of the surveys that has been made, as a normative order, about heterosexuality in the last decade is known as queer theory.One of the theories that in surveys investigates homosexuality as a normative order is known as ?queer theory? and it is the one I decided to use in this essay.Inspired by feminist research, gay and lesbian studies and the poststructuralist theory, the queertheory focuses on some peoples way of organizing sexuality is privileged, sanctioned and is perceived as normal, while others are seen as deviant, abnormal and therefore unwelcome.
