Abstract: Elite soccer in combination with education is a unique and demanding task. The path towards a glory career in sports takes hard mental and physical training. The objectives in this study are 6 elite focused high school students studying high school education programs in combination with football profile. They are 3 of each gender. The purpose of the study was to find out more about their perspective of motivation and what makes them keep going towards a career in football in beside their education.The study is of empiric hermeneutic survey used qualitative method and interviewing to collect data.

Student recruitment is a subject that seems to be forgotten in the theory of event communication. Yet the area has some specific reoccurring features. Our purpose was to examine these specific features and how to work with these in the best way, and also see how to get the most out of the event communication to the young at event and fairs. Special features we have looked at are the student ambassadors ands their impact, the meaning of a give-away and also if there are any essential factors to get in contact with the young at fairs and events, and if new technology had an important role to play in the area.Our research has been inductive, and therefore, we have created our own theory and reflected it to the larger topic of event communication and its theories. Our research method has been triangular, both quantitative and qualitative; interviews with those who work with student recruitment, and surveys to young people in upper secondary school.Our study showed the importance of student ambassadors and their specific task to be nice, friendly and outgoing.

Syftet med föreliggande undersökning är dels att undersöka hur företag inom den högteknologiska branschen arbetar med employer branding för att ses som attraktiv för potentiella framtida arbetstagare. Dels syftar även undersökningen till att få kunskap om vad ingenjörsstuderande, inom det för dessa högteknologiska företag intressanta utbildningar, finner attraktivt hos en framtida arbetsgivare. Metoden för undersökningen är därför både kvalitativ genom intervjuer och kvantitativ genom enkäter. Resultaten från undersökningen visar att företagen aktivt arbetar med att synas, differentiera sig från konkurrenterna, ses som relevanta och uppfylla psykologiska kontrakt. De har insett vikten av att arbeta med employer branding för att kunna kompetenssäkra i ett tidigt stadie. De arbetar både internt samt externt för att bygga upp ett starkt employer brand som kommer skapa attraktion hos potentiella framtida arbetstagare.

The data acquisition system COMET developed by Saab AB contains a unit for signal conditioning and A/D conversion, called KSM. The varieties in signal conditioning constitutes of a number of specific PBAs and maintenance as well as reconfiguration of these are complicated not to mention costly. The aim of this thesis is to develop a new business model for district heating and cooling firms which can contribute to a stabilization of the Swedish national energy system. The business model is developed for a district heating and cooling firm and is exemplified with Fortum Heat. The theoretical investigation around the topic creates a rigid base for following qualitative empirical studies. Osterwalder?s canvas for business model generation is used together with a Casual Loop Diagram to identify a number of business opportunities which stabilizes the national energy system.

This report deals with the modeling of a part of the communication system based on the IEEE 802.11a standard which represents the next generation of wireless LAN with greater scalability, better interference immunity and significantly higher speed, up to 54 Mbps. 802.11a uses Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) where modulation is performed by an IFFT and the demodulation by an FFT. Genom en kvantitativ ansats har jag undersökt vilka egenskaper man i första hand framhåller att en kvinnlig förebild bör ha. Som komplement till den kvantitativa delen och för att kunna exemplifiera och fördjupa, har jag genomfört enskilda intervjuer och fokusgruppintervjuer. De frågeställningar jag har valt är: Vilka egenskaper tas upp då kvinnor och män beskriver sin bild av en kvinnlig förebild? Skiljer sig svaren åt med avseende på kön och generation? Om det finns skillnader, kan dessa kopplas till de ideal och normer som varit rådande under olika decennier från svenskt 1930-tal och framåt? Hur kan ett resonemang kring den kvinnliga förebildens roll i dagens samhälle se ut? Jag har även undersökt vilka kända kvinnliga förebilder vi framhåller som bra förebilder.
