Partnering is a new and exciting way of cooperation in the Swedish construction industry. In countries like Denmark and the United Kingdom the concept has been developed during a number of years while the Swedish construction industry has been more reluctant.Partnering is seen by many as the solution to the problems that often occur in design and build contracts. Many others believe that it is a way for the big entrepreneurs to gain unfair advantage. Never the less the concept is fast getting more and more appreciation, especially in the region of Karlstad where many new buildings are built that way.We have focused on the new development of Carlstad Conference Center (CCC) which is currently built with a partnering concept. The main method that have been used in this thesis are interviews with personnel on different positions in the project.

Detta examensarbete handlar om byggbranschens syn på samverkansformen partnering Genom att vi har intervjuat aktörer som är verksamma inom olika områden i byggbranschen har vi skapat ett underlag för att kunna belysa åsikterna om samverkansformen partnering ur flera perspektiv. Vi redovisar även hur samverkansformen partnering påverkar ett projekt jämfört med ett projekt som styrs efter traditionella former.Idén om examensarbetet utarbetades med Lars Fredriksson på NCC. För att skapa oss kunskap och en grund att stå på började vi med att bearbeta litteratur inom området för att på så sätt kunna författa en teoretisk referensram. Med stöd av den teoretiska referensramen utformades sedan ett formulär med frågor som vi sedan använt oss av i våra intervjuer. För att få ut maximal effekt av intervjuerna har vi använt vi oss av en diktafon vilket inneburit att ingen information gått förlorad.

This study deals with one particular instance of foreign policy change in Sweden; The political take-off for enhanced Nordic Defence and Security Cooperation in the beginning of the 21st century which led to an agreement on a Nordic declaration on slolidarity. The aim of this study is to explain why the political development has undergone a rapid upturn and when such a policy change occur. Its purpose is to explain what factors and conditions that influenced the policy change. It also explores the meaning of the Nordic Declaration of Solidarity. The theoretical point of departure is Foreign Policy Analysis combined with John Kingdons policy-window theory.

Byggsektorn i Sverige är stor, kring 10 % av den svenska arbetsmarknaden räknas in i denna sektor. Eftersom byggbranschen är så stor är det viktigt att den fungerar effektivt. Denna studie har därför inriktat sig på att undersöka hur strategisk partnering kan användas på ett mer framgångsrikt sätt mellan levererande företag och kunder i den offentliga sektorn. De budget- och tidsramar som tagits fram överskrids ofta, och kvaliteten på det som byggs uppnås inte i tillräckligt hög grad. Till stor del härrör detta från det faktum att offentliga upphandlare ofta gör sina upphandlingar baserat på det lägsta priset, och ej tar hänsyn till andra ?mjuka? faktorer.

Då litteraturen och forskningen är begränsad inom ämnet kundnytta i partneringprojekt, väcktes intresset att genomföra en empirisk studie om ämnet. Det har inte visat sig vara lämpligt att genomföra detta mot en specifik fråga eller ett problem då den befintliga informationen behandlar teori och tillämpningar av partnering, inte kundnytta.Med hänsyn till ovanstående problematik syftar denna uppsats till att beskriva hur olika parter, kopplade till partneringverksamhet i Sverige, upplever vilka arbetssätt och faktorer som maximerar kundnyttan i ett partneringprojekt.En kvalitativ metod där sex personer intervjuades, kopplade till partneringverksamhet i Sverige. Intervjuerna är semistrukturerade och anpassade till varje enskilt intervjuobjekt.De viktigaste slutsatserna som besvarar syftet är:? Förstå kundens affär? Välj ersättningsform baserat på grundlagt tillit och projekttyp? Alla parters samlade kunskaper ger rätt förutsättningar för beställaren att fatta rätt beslut? Avsaknad av gemensamma välutvecklade digitala hjälpmedel? Ta beslut i rätt tid? Referensytor och egenslutkontroller istället för besiktningsman.

Denna studie har genomförts i två faser vilken den första haft som syfte att studera och utvärdera vad ett svenskt byggföretags strategiska omläggning har inneburit i och med de rådande konkurrensförhållandena på marknaden och därmed hitta ett lämpligt strategiskt ramverk som beskriver den strategiska förändringen. Den andra delen av studien, som blev en följd av den första, har haft till syfte att utvärdera om och i så fall hur samarbetsformen partnering främjar den resursdrivna strategin som i studiens första fas konstaterats som väl beskrivande av ett svenskt byggbolags strategi. Den empiriska informationen har inhämtats genom nio intervjuer och studier av dokumenterat material från fallstudieföretaget NCC. Vad som kunde konstateras efter studiens första fas var att den övergripande strategiska fokuseringen gått från en snarlikt marknadsdriven strategi till en ganska utpräglat resursdriven strategi. Den slutsats man kan dra av studiens andra fas är att samarbetsformen partnering till stor del överensstämmer med den resursdrivna strategin.

Det här examensarbetet beskriver konceptet partnering i ett förhållande mellan en beställare och en utförare i byggbranschen. Det är initierat av Banverket och är en del av projektet ?Avtalsformer för drift och underhåll av järnvägar?. Vidare presenteras en modell för partneringprocessen omfattande drift och underhåll av järnvägsanläggningar. Partnering är en samverkansform där parterna arbetar mot gemensamt framtagna mål för att uppnå en hög total kvalitet och kostnadseffektivitet i projektet.

AbstractThe Energy Declaration is a law that will come into effect October 1: Th 2006. This report has Värnamo municipality as principal and shall clarify what the estate owner in general and Värnamo municipality in particular need to know about this law. Another part that is going to be dealt with is how large the future need for energy experts in this field will be, and which competence that will be demanded for them.The work will in general deal with simplified energy declarations for apartment houses and public buildings, since these buildings are the first to be involved with energy declarations.The energy declaration will consist of a number of important components.? Energy power i.e. how much energy the building consume? If the ventilation control is done? If the radon measurement is carried out? Recommendations of measures to improve the energy power? Reference value to compare the buildings energy power againstAccording to the law the declaration shall been made by an independent expert, which will need certain information for this.

The aim of this study was to compare educational systems in Sweden, Czech Republic, Italy and Scotland. In the light of the Bologna Declaration signed in 1999, I was particularly interested in comparing social work educations in these four countries. Especially to clarify how far they have come to fulfill the goals of the common European educational policy.Central questions asked were: How do the educational systems look like in each of the four countries? How are the social work educations organized in each of them? In what ways do the social work educations differ? How can we explain such differences?Each country in this study represents a different welfare regime, and therefore I was challenged to find out if this has an impact on the implementation of the incentives of the Bologna Declaration. By studying various documents from the European Union, documents from each country and presentations of various social work programmes, I have come to the conclusion that the differences found mainly depends on the historical and socioeconomic traditions in the countries.

The distributioncentral of Stadium has an area of 31,6 acre and is being build in Herstadberg in the region of Norrköping. It is Mattssons Fastighetsutveckling (Mattssons Real-estate development) who also has ordered the building. They will also take care of the operation and support of the distributioncentral. Peab has got the assignment as a total contractor and it is for them I have done my degree project.I have been drawing-up a description of the goods in the distributioncenter. In the declaration a description of the goods will be found, there substance for all the materials that has been built in to the building describes.

Partnering är ett relativt nytt begrepp i byggbranschen med stora likheter i det som kallassamverkansentreprenad, men även i ersättningsformen löpande räkning med tak. Tanken är attkringgå onödiga konflikter och få ett konstruktivt samarbete mellan parterna i byggprocessen.Detta görs genom att man skapar en ny organisation byggd på förtroende och gemensammamålsättningar för att uppnå goda resultat i projektet. Detta ska resultera i attkompetensutnyttjandet optimeras och att man i och med den öppna ekonomin får en braöverblick på kostnader och resurser. Förhoppningsvis ska detta samarbete ge beställaren enbättre produkt till ett lägre pris.Det finns mycket erfarenhet, både från utlandet, men även inom Sverige om hur ettpartneringsamarbete ska bli framgångsrikt. NCC är en av de stora aktörer som helhjärtatsatsar på att driva och utveckla partnering.

The Arctic region is rich in natural resources such as oil, gas, minerals and fish. Climate change causes the Arctic ice melt, making resource extraction possible as well as opening up new transport routes through the Northwest Passage and the Northeast Passage. This has led to competition and cross-border strife among the Arctic States. The two largest states in the Arctic are Russia and Canada, which are also members of the Arctic Council. Russia and Canada are at the moment involved in several disputes regarding the Arctic territory where the ownership of the North Pole is one example.
