Vad är värdighetsterapi? : En beskrivande studie om värdighetsterapi inom palliativ vård
Bakgrund: Av de som dött i Sverige de senaste två åren har cirka 80 procent varit i behov av palliativ vård. Genom att fokusera på patienters och närståendes upplevelser av vad som är viktigt i livets slutskede så kan en värdig död främjas. Värdighet är ett begrepp som är komplext och saknar konsensus inom vården. Det är även ett begrepp som är centralt inom vårdvetenskap. Harvey Max Chochinov har skapat en värdighetsmodell för att försöka göra begreppet värdighet mer förståligt och utifrån denna modell skapades interventionen värdighetsterapi. Syfte: Syftet med vår uppsats är att beskriva hur värdighetsterapi upplevs av patienter och anhöriga, samt belysa andra aspekter av värdighetsterapi. Metod: Den metod som används är litteraturöversikt.

Research show evidence for benefits of breastfeeding and that infant-feeding-plans are supportive. Family-centered care is the theoretical framework. Family support is crucial for successful breastfeeding. It is important that society creates opportunities for mothers to breastfeed and contribute information and support by healthcare professionals. The aim of this study was to evaluate how the midwives and child healthcare nurses found that the newest breastfeeding strategy influenced their breastfeeding- and rearing support in the County of Jönköping.
Betydelsen av dendritceller i kroppens immunförsvar : Utveckling av nya terapier med hjälp av dendritceller för att kunna bota svårbehandlade sjukdomar
SammanfattningSyftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva sjuksköterskors inställning till eutanasi.Metoden var en beskrivande litteraturstudie. Av 220 artiklar valdes 14 artiklar med kvalitativ eller kvantitativ ansats.Resultatet visade att eutanasi är en komplex fråga där olika etiska och moraliska aspekter spelar in. Sjuksköterskorna ansåg att eutanasi kunde vara etiskt försvarbart för värnandet av patientens autonomi, vid svår obotlig sjukdom, om alla andra behandlingsmetoder blivit uttömda samt om patienten själv tog upp förfrågan om eutanasi. Argument emot eutanasi var att sjuksköterskan har en livsbevarande roll, att risk för missbruk av eutanasi kan förekomma samt religiösa skäl. Yngre deltagare och de med lägre utbildning var mer positiva till eutanasi medan äldre sjuksköterskor och de med högre utbildning hade en mer negativ inställning.

Patients with mental illness experience dissatisfaction with their care due to lack of understanding and ignorance from the nurses. The nurses? approach might influence these patients' experience of their care. The purpose of the literature review was to describe nurses' approach in care of patients with mental illness. The literature review is based on an inductive approach and the result is based on 14 scientific papers, of which eight used a qualitative design and sex used a quantitative design.
Sjuksköterskors dilemma när patienten motsätter livsavgörande vårdinsatser : en litteraturstudie
Background The patient's rights to self-determine their own health care is described in Swedish legislation and guidelines. However, due to infancy, unconsciousness, severe brain damage or certain diseases, some patients might be unable to make such decisions. Ethically difficult situations do occur, not infrequently associated with culture. Since the patient is vulnerable, there is a risk that the patient in the treatment and care can not be bothered to maintain right to autonomy and that the nurse violates patient integrity.Aim The aim of this study was to illustrate the nurse's dilemma when the patient refuses vital caring efforts.Method A literature review of eight scientific articles with a qualitative approach was performed.Results The results revealed the following domains to describe the nurse's dilemma when the patient refuses vital care interventions: patients? reasons for treatment refusal, the nurse's understanding of the patient's refusal of care and contradictory legislationConclusion More knowledge and discussion of the patient's decision-making competence is needed for both the nursing profession and those who make decisions on legislation..
Export inom gränserna : En studie om förutsättningar för medicinsk turism i Sverige
International trade in services has increased over the past 30 years as a result of progress in information and communication technology, increased focus on services from the manufacturing sector and the establishment of trade associations.The international market for healthcare services, also referred to as medical tourism, is growing more and more. Patients increasingly seeking treatment at other countries healthcare systems because of long queues within their own country or because it exists better prices for the same care abroad. However, this type of service exports occurs at a limited extent in Sweden.The purpose of this study is to highlight and analyze the conditions for Swedish service companies to export healthcare services. This, includes the challenges and opportunities that exist to expand the exports of these services.The approach for this study has been in the form of interviews with two market actors and written responses, from the same interview guide, with three market actors. These market participants are the so-called Care companies which export healthcare services in various counties, and the membership organization Swecare who work with export promotion activities for its members in the Swedish healthcare sector.

Older people in sheltered accommodation in community care were not able to manage their own nutrition. The older people were dependent on the food that was offered to them, when and how the food was served. This was a specific responsibility for the nursing staff.

Introduction: To become acute ill and to be forced to seek treatment involves a difficult but also a vulnerable time for the individual. This acquires a good relationship between the nurse and the patient. At a surgical emergency ward patients with different diagnoses and trauma are treated. What distinguishes this specific type of ward is that care often occurs in a rapid rate and as a patient the environment may be experienced as stressed. The relationship with the nurse at the ward establishes a foundation for how the patient experiences the health care.
Icke farmakologiska interventioner för att lindra ångest och oro hos patienter som vårdas palliativt: en systematisk litteraturöversikt
Ångest och oro är vanligt förekommande hos personer som vårdas palliativt och det kan ge upphov till sämre livskvalitet. Det är viktigt att identifiera icke-farmakologiska interventioner som kan lindra ångestsymptom. Syftet med denna systematiska litteraturöversikt var att beskriva erfarenheter av att använda icke farmakologiska interventioner för att lindra ångest och oro patienter som vårdas palliativt. Efter litteratursökning i sex databaser inkluderades 15 artiklar som resulterade i fyra olika typer av interventioner: beröring: psykologiska interventioner: musik:övrig sinnestimulering. Resultatet visade att beröring, psykologiska interventioner och musik hade positiv inverkan på ångest och oro hos patienter som vårdas palliativt.
Faktorer som påverkar sjuksköterskans kommunikation i den palliativa vården och copingstrategier som sjuksköterskan använder sig av samt faktorer som påverkar val av copingstrategi- en litteraturöversikt
Syftet med litteraturöversikten var att belysa kommunikationen inom den palliativa vårdensamt vilka copingstrategier sjuksköterskan använder sig av. Studien genomfördes som enlitteraturöversikt där resultatet baseras på 15 artiklar genomförda i totalt åtta olika länder.Artiklar söktes i databaserna CINAHL, PubMed, Vård i Norden och PsykINFO. Teman somframkom i resultatet var kommunikation och copingstrategier följt av fyra respektive femsubteman. Resultatet visar att kommunikationen är central i den palliativa vården. Utbildningvar grunden till att sjuksköterskan utvecklade ett bra förhållningssätt inom kommunikationoch copingstrategier.

AimThe aim with this essay was to find out what the personal in the primary care of Värmdö have for attitude to work with physical activity in prevention and treatment of diseases, how they work with the method today and how they think about working with the method in the future. Following questions were in focus of the study: How are they working in the primary care of Värmdö today with physical activity in prevention and treatment of diseases? What is the attitude to work with physical activity in prevention and treatment of diseases? And how do they want to work with physical activity in prevention and treatment of diseases in the future?MethodThe study includes all doctors, nurses and physiotherapists in Gustavsberg and Djurö primary care in Värmdö. To get answers on the question of issue was a questionnaire handed out. 82 % answered, which means that 45 of totally 55 employed in both primary care units answered the questinnaire.Results44 of 45 asked reported that they give verbal advice about physical activity to their patients today.

The purpose of this study is to, based on qualitative interviews, understand the home care staff's experiences of insufficiency and also which strategies they are using to deal with these experiences.The questions of this study are:In which situations are home care staff experiencing insufficiency?What copingstrategies do home care staff set out to deal with these experiences? Method: Interviews has been used as a method to gather empirical data.Theory: Theories of coping-strategies has been used as theory in the analyses of the empirical material.Results: The result of this study concludes that experiences of insufficiency mainly promotes in situations of lack of time for various reasons. The main strategies home care staff is using are planning, adapting, accepting, compensation, get themselves together, control and manage their emotions and understanding. Other situations that promote feelings of insufficiency are lack of competence and when the eldery person doesn't want to receive a planned effort.
