The thesis deals with three document retrieval models based on logic: the Boolean model,the fuzzy model and the Van Rijsbergen model.In Chapter 1, the author presents the purpose of the thesis. This is to give the logical foundationof the models, to describe them and to examine them critically. In Chapter 2, some importantnotions in document retrieval are presented. Chapter 3 is devoted to the Boolean model, Chapter4 to the fuzzy model and Chapter 5 to the Van Rijsbergen model.These three chapters are organized in the same way. First, the logical foundation of the modelis given.

This bachelor thesis is about an ultrasonic sensor, implemented in a bubble chamber in Artis. The sensor consists of the piezoelectric sensor and an electronic control circuit. The control circuit consists of a programmable microprocessor, PIC18F2420 and a circuit, which sends the excitation signal to the piezoelectric sensor, and later receives the echo. This bachelor thesis consists also of a theoretical study, which examines different techniques of liquid level sensing in a chamber. The study discusses which factors are important in liquid level sensing and examine accepted methods.

The study is based upon eight local newspapers located in the municipalities where the voting result for the Sweden Democrats increased the most and the least.Material/Method: The material consists of 263 articles from eight different local newspapers gathered from the month of September 2010 (the month of the election). Using a quantitative content analysis and a cluster analysis inspired by Matthes & Kohring, a comparison of the framing is made between the different newspapers. The results of this comparison are then analyzed and discussed by applying theories of political communication, media logic and framing.Main results: The results show that some similarities and some differences occur regarding the framing of the Sweden Democrats between the different newspapers.

För att tillföra en viss bredd till utvärderingen utgörs vårt empiriska material av intervjuer med såväl verksamhetschefer, planeringsstrateg, controllers samt sjukhusets ekonomidirektör. Med avsikt att underlätta presentationen av studiens resultat och utvärderingen, som sådan, har vi utformat en utvärderingsmall baserad på den information som samlats in under våra intervjuer. Detta examensarbete behandlar kommutering av en BLDC-motor, borstlös likspänningsmotor, med hjälp av FPGA, Field Programmable Gate Array. Det jämför och diskuterar också skillnader mellan de intelligenta aktuatorer som används av branchen idag med dumma aktuatorsystem och syftar till att bygga kunskap kring ämnet. Allt högre krav ställs på kommunikationen i ett fordon vad gäller hastighet och datamängd och av denna anledning är det av stort intresse att utreda om ett teknikbyte av ett driftkritiskt system som en BLDC-aktuator är möjligt och lämpligt.Som en fortsättning på tidigare examensarbeten som behandlat reglering av en borstlös likspänningsmotor med hjälp av en dum aktuator löser detta examensarbete ett problem rörande färdigskriven kommuteringskod som uppdagades. Att använda en FPGA för att ta fram kommuteringssignaler till drivsteget ger en försumbar fördröjning av de pulsbreddsmodulerade signalerna som reglerar motorn och därmed uppnås en fungerande dum aktuator som uppfyller Scanias krav för kommutering av BLDC-motorn.Dumma aktuatorer är på många sätt ett bättre alternativ än dagens intelligenta aktuatorer. In this thesis, it is investigated if it is possible to create a common factor of the work tasks done by an air traffic controller, which then can measure workload. This will lead to the development of a tool to measure workload at small airports. In the research project a questionnaire is created to measure the different tasks an air traffic controller has. The same questionnaire will also measure the number of environmental factors that exists around the air traffic controller. To measure the validity of the questionnaire, the authors are using NASA-TLX.

English title: Julia and the elite. A study of how the Internet hatred developed into a media avalanche.Introduction: During February 2013 Swedish media flooded with news of online hate directed towards women after an episode of Uppdrag Granskning on SVT (2013). Female media profiles were given the opportunity to tell the entire Swedish population about the hate and threats they had been exposed to online. In this thesis we want to investigate what topics end up on the media´s agenda, how a piece of news is developed and framed.Questions: How does a piece of news considered highly newsworthy develop from when it first appears in the media until it gradually disappears? How and why did Internet hatred end up on the media´s agenda? How does the media framed the Internet hatred?Theory: To be able to answer the questions formulated in this thesis, the following theories have been used: Agenda-Setting theory, framing theory, news valuation and media logic. Method: Quantitative content analysis of news broadcasts and debate shows from TV, radio and newspapers.

n this dissertation a comparison of two evolutionary methods for evolving ANNs for robot control is made. The methods compared are SANE with enforced sub-population and delta-coding, and marker-based encoding. In an attempt to speed up evolution, marker-based encoding is extended with delta-coding. The task selected for comparison is the hunter-prey task. This task requires the robot controller to posess some form of memory as the prey can move out of sensor range.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att kartlägga och identifiera en yngre generations, 18 till 30 år, preferenser för konsumtion av etermedia (Tv) inom ramen för uppdraget om public service samt hur de väljer och värderar de tjänster som erbjuds inom Tv-branschen. Det som undersöks närmare är orsaken bakom den minskade användningen av de tjänster som SVT erbjuder gentemot de kommersiella kanalerna och vad denna generation efterfrågar av det utbud som existerar.En kvantitativ metod kommer att användas för undersökningen och de empiriska data som undersökningen grundar sig på kommer att erhållas genom en enkätundersökning som sker via Facebook samt Itslearning där sammanlagt 106 personer deltar. Resultatet analyseras sedan med hjälp av tidigare genomförd forskning och inom teoriområdena värdeskapande, Service Dominant Logic samt tjänsteutveckling.Resultaten visar att denna generation efterfrågar underhållning som främsta värdeskapande aktivitet, i första hand hos de kommersiella kanalerna. Public service anses inte erbjuda ett större utbud av värdeskapande program och visar sig vara den främsta orsaken till varför minskningen av public service sker. Under förutsättning att SVT skulle önska öka generation Y:s konsumtion av public service, så skulle ett genomförande av följande ändringar rekommenderas: en större fokusering mot ett ökat utbud kring underhållande program föreslås som förbättringar som public service kan genomföra och kan om det utförs korrekt attrahera fler individer från denna målgrupp.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyse and propose improvements to the cost accounting system in use at an airline operating on the Swedish market. The choice of study object is based on the airline?s desire to have its cost accounting system evaluated. During the analysis we have identified a number of points where the current cost accounting system does not correspond to its intended purpose. These points include significant groups of costs not being considered in the current system, potential over capacity is not visible and logic connections between distribution keys and the use of resources are sometimes lacking.

Purpose of this study is to investigate whether BBIC had an effect on the interaction between social services and schools. To find this out, a comparative study carried out between two municipalities in southern Sweden who has worked with the BBIC system different lengths of time. The empirical data is based on six qualitative interviews with heads of unit in social services, principals in secondary schools, and social workers who work with children- and youth investigations. The theoretical framework consists of Bronfenbrenners Ecology model, systems theory as organizational theory and the theory of autopoiesis, and Danermark model of collaboration. The results of the survey show that respondents do not find that their inter-organizational collaboration has been significantly affected by the implementation of BBIC, but that BBIC provides a good basis for collaboration due to the logic and structure of the system..

Vårt syfte är att beskriva och analysera controllerfunktionen på divisionsnivå eller motsvarande och vi fokuserar vår undersökning på controllerns plats i organisationen, roll samt arbetsuppgifter. Vi har gjort en metodkombination av både kvantitativ och kvalitativ karaktär beträffande telefonintervjuundersökningen och djupintervjuerna. Vår metod är deskriptiv och vår analysmetod är analytisk induktion. Den teoretiska utgångspunkten är en av oss genomförd genomgång av litteratur och tidigare forskning angående controllers. Vårt empiriska material är insamlat, dels med hjälp av 27 telefonintervjuer, dels med hjälp av tre djupintervjuer.

Teorinför DALMAS bygger på deontisk logik, och normer i det normativa systemetuttrycks i termer av Kanger-Lindahls teori om normativa positioner.
