Syfte: Att med utgångspunkt i entreprenörers vedertagna egenskaper identifiera beskriva och analysera egenskaper som särskiljer entreprenörer i serviceverksamheter. Metod: Arbetet genom uppsatsen har följt ett kvalitativt angreppssätt där en deduktiv ansats använts. Två intervjuer har gjorts med entreprenörer verksamma i näringslivet.

Tidigare undersökningar visar att nästan nio av tio gymnasieskolor använder sig av produkter från en dominerande aktör, nämligen Microsoft. Syftet med vår studie var att undersöka varför svenska gymnasieskolan inte använder sig av alternativ såsom öppen källkod och fri programvara i större utsträckning. Vi valde att avgränsa oss till att studera till den vanligast förekommande programvaran, såsom operativsystem, kontorsprogram och webbläsare. Vidare valde vi att lägga fokus på de datorer som står till elevernas förfogande. Vi genomförde en kvalitativ undersökning, baserad på intervjuer med respondenter som representerar 10 kommuner i Skåne län.

Today environmental management systems (EMS) are common documents (more correctly, a combination of documents) that direct, steer and regulate environmental efforts within many companies. The intention of EMS is that its guidelines are reflected in how the employee carries out his everyday work tasks. This study aims to illuminate the attitudes that exist regarding the EMS at ALSTOM Power Sweden. By using questionnaires and interviews as a method to communicate with employees,a study of the existing attitudes regarding the EMS was carried out. The results were analyzed categorically and statistically and show that there are consistent attitudes among employees, but that there are also inconsistent attitudes.

The aim of this study was to investigate emotions and emotion regulation of a downsizing in an industrial company. The sample consisted of persons who had experienced a downsizing but have kept the employment, within a same position or being transferred to another one. Data consisted of two focus group interviews, analysed by an inductive thematic analysis. The results have indicated that emotional reactions changed over time as well the emotional regulation did during the different phases. The groups differed in emotional reaction related to the time of decision regarding the retention of employment.

The electronic music studio ?Elektronmusikstudion? (EMS) inStockholm was initiated in 1963. It has had several different managers throughout the years. EMS soon became a rather costly project. Furthermore there have been several conflicts among staff and users wich has contributed to EMS fairly turbulent history.

Outsourcing av IT är något som kom igång i slutet på 90-talet och är idag ett utbrett fenomen. Tillverkningsindustrins outsourcing till låglöneländer har pågått länge, men utvecklingen inom teknologi och global kommunikation innebär även att många tjänster numera kan transporteras stora sträckor med liten, eller ingen, försämring av kvalitet, något som gjort att outsourcingen av IT kunnat växa sig stor. Utvecklingen har också inneburit att distinktionen mellan kvalificerade- och okvalificerade jobb inte längre avgör om de ska outsourcas till låglöneländer eller inte. Tjänstejobb kan alltså precis som jobb inom tillverkning numera utsättas för konkurrens från låglöneländer och flytta. Företag som outsourcar IT till låglöneländer kan öka fokus på kärnverksamheten och får tillgång till både en bred kompetenspool och specialister, ofta till låga och flexibla lönekostnader.

Studiens syfte var att undersöka hur grupper inom en industri skiljer sig från andra typer av arbetsgrupper från en större population. I den här studien användes Team Diagnostic Survey (TDS). TDS instrumentet används för att mäta faktorer som anses vara avgörande för gruppens effektivitet enligt en modell av Hackman (2002). Den statistiska bearbetningen visade på 12 signifikanta skillnader. Skillnader visade sig inom följande områden: compelling direction, enabling direction, supportive organizational context och available coaching.

The aim of this thesis is to get a better understanding of how the management control system works at V&S Distillers. V&S Distillers went through an organizational change in the beginning of 2005. The marketing function went from being a country-driven to a category-driven organization. Among other things this resulted in increased cooperation between employees in different geographical locations. We aim to analyze how a geographical distance affects relations and the use of management control.

Denna uppsats undersöker om det finns något samband mellan vilken typ av företagskultur ett systemutvecklingsföretag har och till vilken omfattning de jobbar med användarmedverkan. I uppsatsen presenteras begreppen användarmedverkan och företagskultur. Intervju- och enkätundersökningar har genomförts för att belysa företagens företagskulturer samt hur de arbetar med användarmedverkan. Intervjuerna och enkäterna ligger som grund för studien och dessa visar att det finns ett samband mellan omfattningen av användarmedverkan och ett företags företagskultur, men dock enbart sett utifrån företagens vilja och ambitioner att jobba på detta sätt. Något samband mellan hur företagen verkligen jobbar med användarmedverkan sett till deras företagskultur har inte kunnat bekräftas..

The aim of this study is to illuminate factors in nurses´ work, which can cause a state of exhaustion called burn out. The results indicate that work related mental illness is a lengthy process that gives rise to both physical and psychical problems. These problems might lead to a state of burn out. However, several authors prefer to use expressions like exhaust syndrome or exhaust depression as they are criticising the concept of burn out. The study is a literature analysis of 11 scientific articles that have been scrutinized using the criterions presented by Polit et al (2001).

This essay revolves around the organization Mobile Art Production, MAP, and their artexhibition Street View shown on Kungsportsavenyn, Gothenburg two weeks in April 2010. Beingan alternative to traditional art institutions, MAP sets out goals for their activities and the aim ofthe essay is to examine whether the main goals of the organization were fulfilled through theexhibition. In Street View six Swedish artists participated with a total of seven artworks.The theoretical framework is formed using Arthur C. I denna uppsats har jag undersökt metoder för förvaltande av kunskap samt lärande på arbetsplatsen genom att utgå ifrån personalens expertkunskaper inom sitt arbete och hur företag kan ta tillvara dessa. Den samlade kunskapen som finns på företag är ett värdefullt verktyg. Om den skulle varit möjligt att ta tillvara den på ett effektivt sätt skulle både medarbetare och företagets utveckling kunna dra stor nytta av det. Jag har undersökt hur denna kunskap skulle kunna förvaltas för att de anställda ska kunna få mer ansvar och möjlighet att förbättra sin arbetsplats med hjälp av olika metoder. Detta har jag gjort i samarbete med företaget Jidoka Innovation och deras metoder under samlingsnamnet HelpMe.

Today, it is prescribed by law that authorities should cooperate, especially around vulnerable children. There is a need in Sweden of research about cooperation and the problems that can occur. Hence, this study seeks to examine which structural organizational conditions that affect cooperation in a few consultation groups around violence and sexual abuse against children in Kronobergs län. Another aim is to see which meaning these conditions have for a functioning cooperation. Eight interviews have been done to investigate how different actors felt about cooperation, in the consultation groups.

When contemplating entering an alliance the rationale behind the decision should differdepending on the size of the companies involved as well as on other important factors. The importantfactors influencing the decision are related to the resource pooling potential of the alliance,the power structure along with the business network the companies are a part of. Theanalysis has shown proof of a need for cooperation if one wish to succeed in the telecommunicationindustry and it has also determined which resources that are deemed to be most important toget in touch with, for our study object, to facilitate its access to the market. Those resources aredefined as a direct channel to the customer, funds/capital and the access to relevant businessnetworks. To get in touch with these lacking resources, three alternative approaches has beenproposed; all of them involving a strategic alliance decision.
