There are many different ways to control an organisation. In cultural organisations, it has become more common to have several directors working simultaneously. Often, different individuals possess different cultural and economic experience, thus a variety of backgrounds provides a more thorough scope of expertise and knowledge. This type of management is prevalent in the cultural sector.This thesis will research how leaders in cultural institutes work in a dual leadership, ?co-leadership?, when their backgrounds are different.

Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) is a further development of the Six Sigma draft to carry through preventing quality measures in developing and designing of new products and processes. With increasing demands on enterprises development processes to be more safety and faster the need of DFSS arise as a product, process and service development concept in the organisations. Design for Six Sigma aims to improve and structure the development process of an organisation and consider the application of the innovation problem solving. The concept aims to leave the structure of the traditional Six Sigma concept and instead, from an innovative perspective, search for new solutions to existing problems. The concept constitute of a toolbox with a lot of quality tools that are divided into phases in a development model.

A growing number of companies realise that to achieve their environmental goals and satisfy stakeholder expectations, they need to look beyond their own facilities and to involve their suppliers in environmental initiatives. A life cycle approach means that the production system should be optimised as whole, across national boarders and individual organisations taking part all the way from extraction to disposal. This study is a Life Cycle Inventory of resources used when producing a piece of cotton garment and the method is based on the standardisation series of ISO 14040-43. The area of study, Tamil Nadu the most southern state of India, accounts for more than 90% of India?s knitwear exports to Western Europe.

Syftet med studien var att skapa ett underlag för hur en organisations hälsofrämjande arbete kan utvecklas samt vilka eventuella möjligheter som finns till en framtida integrering med andra områden inom organisationen. Datainsamlingen genomfördes med kvalitativa semistrukturerade intervjuer och omfattade sex strategiskt utvalda informanter, fyra män och två kvinnor, på ledande positioner inom Peab. Resultatet visade att den hälsofrämjande verksamheten som bedrivs inom konceptet Peab Fritid upplevdes positiv, men det förekom vissa önskemål om utveckling, bland annat vad gäller aktivitetsutbud kopplat till mer vardagliga områden. Vidare framkom att uppfattningen kring en framtida integrering med övriga verksamhetsområden skilde sig åt mellan informanterna. De menade att det faktum att de hälsofrämjande insatserna är förlagda till fritiden, och inte till arbetstid, kunde försvåra ett möjliggörande av en integrering.

This examination paper concerns how a organization can reach right quality. In this case the focus is on the communication of the soft product quality within an organization to achieve right quality. To fulfill the aim of this study a case company has been used to be able to show the absence in the topic. The questions of the study are: How have the customer?s needs been communicated within the organization? What absences are there today concerning the communication of the customer?s needs within the organization? How can the communication of the customer?s needs within the organization improve?The aim of this study is to describe and analyse how the transmitting of the customer?s needs concerning soft product quality is made today in the case company and to reach any improving suggestions.

Uppsatsen syftar till att undersöka en organisations förutsättningar till att använda intranätet för kunskapsspridning. Även vilken roll som intranätet har för användarna kommer att studeras. Vidare vill jag synliggöra ett problem som många gånger uppkommer med intranät, att organisationers förväntningar på intranät inte lyckas realiseras. Tidigare forskning har visat att intranät kan användas som ett verktyg för Knowledge Management. Knowledge Management handlar om att använda lärande som ett sätt att utveckla organisationens materiella och immateriella tillgångar.

Crowdsourcing is a business model that uses the power of the collective bythe offer of a problem by means of competitions in various social media. The benefit ofcrowdsourcing is that the company gets more creative and creative solutions to the sameproblem, which would not have been possible if the company solved the problem internally.The larger mass gains an insight into the company, which in return also releases power tothe company's development. This paper examines the consequences of membership and participation in immigrant associations on individual immigrants? political integration and indirect political participation with reference to Swedish society. The theoretical underpinnings consist of a social structural outlook on social capital, combined with the Civic Voluntarism Model, both of which focus on the potential role of social networks for moving people into political action. After a presentation of parallel qualitative data over the experiences of individual members in a Finnish and Bosnian-Hercegovinian organisation, it is suggested that immigrant associations support the political integration of their members into the host society. Firstly, the case studies indicate that members of immigrant associations gain the opportunity to augment their civic skills, which is a significant prerequisite for political participation.

The number of new estate agent offices is increasing yearly and each year many hundred new estate agents graduate. The comparing of estate agents by sellers has perhaps been most common in larger cities, but as competition has increased even in smaller towns we experience that it has become a common phenomenon even there. We both come from a small town but are not afraid of the idea of moving to a larger city as newly qualified estate agents. We ask ourselves, which are the determining factors in the choice of a estate agent in a large city as opposed to a small town? Can we see any differences? The purpose with this essay is to give us added knowledge about which factors private persons consider to be important in their choice of an estate agent when selling a house.The body of information is based on two parallel surveys, one in Hudiksvall and one in Stockholm, together with interviews of people in this line of business.

The main purpose of this Master?s thesis is to examine what librarians in seven public libraries experience as major change in their work tasks. We are also interested in exploring how these changes influence librarians? ways of working. In addition to this we want to explore if librarians have experienced change in relation to user?s expectations and demands and if so, how they are met.

Denna studie syftar till att försöka förstå och förklara vilka komponenter IKEAs organisationskultur består av och hur denna kultur i sin tur reproduceras. Vi definierar reproduktion av kultur som en strävan att bevara en organisations grundläggande värderingar och idéer. Till vår hjälp har vi använt Edgar H. Scheins teori om kulturnivåer och John Van Maanens sju strategier för socialisation. Våra data har samlats in genom intervjuer, observationer , tryckta texter och IKEAs svenska hemsida.

SAMMANFATTNINGBakgrund: Patienters upplevelser av att vårdas inom slutenvården med stöd av Lagen om psykiatrisk tvångsvård. Människor med en allvarlig psykisk störning eller ett oundvikligt behov av vård får med stöd av lagen tvångsvårdas. Patienterna fråntas självbestämmandet och blir tvungna att delta i vård och behandling mot sin vilja. När självbestämmandet fråntas patienterna övertar vårdpersonalen ansvaret vilket kan leda till ett lidande för patienterna (1991:1128).Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva patienters upplevelser av tvångsvård inom psykiatrisk slutenvård. Metod: Systematisk litteraturstudie, sex artiklar användes för uppnått resultat.Resultat: Både positiva och negativa upplevelser av tvångsvård påvisades. Patienterna beskrev ett möte med vården kantat av upplevelser kring människovärde, delaktighet i sin egen vård, kommunikation, relationer, synen på våld, hot och straff samt upplevt lidande.Slutsats: Om patienterna bemöttes med respekt, människovärde samt fick tillräcklig information kring vård och behandling blev upplevelserna av tvångsvården mer positiv.
