IRB 340, Flexpicker is an industrial robot used for sorting, packaging and the handling of details up to two kg. The Flexpicker is a delta robot, meaning that it with three arms controls a triangular plate, swivel, in a work area shaped like a cylinder. Joints using plain bearings connect the arms.The plain bearing in use today consists of a plastic ring which slides against a hard anodized joint ball. Despite the fact that the plastic contain friction-lowering additives, the bearing needs to be lubricated to prevent noise. Because the robot is used in food and drug handling environments, where the demands on hygiene are set very high, the robot is often washed.

 Inledning: Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka vilket förhållningssätt och vilka uppfattningar fritidspedagoger har kring barn och matvanor ur ett mångkulturellt perspektiv. Metod: Intervjuer genomfördes på tre olika fritidsverksamheter med fyra fritidspedagoger som har erfarenhet av arbete med invandrarbarn. Vid intervjutillfällena användes en mall med förskrivna frågor. Den valda ansatsen är fenomenografisk inspirerad studie för att kunna skildra uppfattningar om fenomen. Vid bearbetningen av resultatet skildrades fyra beskrivningskategorier som utvunnits utifrån informanternas utsagor.

This degree project is an inquiry in how plan layouts and functions should be designed to suit families with children. The project aim to, if possible, find good solutions and designed houses that satisfy the requirements a family have.Last spring we contacted Willa Nordic AB, a company that produce houses, and they had a suggestion to investigate living for families with children. Their motif were that they lacked in information and knowledge in how to design houses that correspond to a family's needs. We thought the idea was exiting and motivating.The autumn 2008 studies were made on earlier published reports, in the subject "living environment", to get a solid background. The earlier inquiries shows a clear development through the whole 1900's, from being without standards to have well defined norms.

The purpose with this study is to examine how the twelve-step program is described by the author J Keith Miller (2004) in his book Steg in i livet and by the author Olle Carlsson (2012) in his book 12steg för hopplösa. The aim for the study is to highlight the twelve steps usage on people without addiction problems. In the study, the two author?s thoughts and experience of the twelve-step program is analysed and interpreted by Pargaments (1997) theory of religious coping. The purpose of this masters thesis is to examine how librarians work in a literary educational role with literary circles for adults and youth, in public libraries and at school. The study also examines whether participation in book discussion groups has any effect on participants and librarians regarding changes in reading habits and in personal development. Another aspect investigated was how participants experienced the atmosphere in the group. We have conducted qualitative interviews with five librarians who have lead different literary circles and with two participants from each literary circle. In all 13 interviews were conducted.

Population growth leads to an increased need for new buildings, both residential and commercial. The regulations of structural design also changes with time. From a sustainable community perspective it may be profitable if existing buildings, that no longer performs their original function, are reconditioned. Knowledge and understanding of the surroundings of the residence must be available. Regulations regarding accessibility to all has increased.

Animal welfare is of increasing concern in present society. In commercial pig farming, animal welfare problems are common. One of the causes for these problems is the barren environment in which pigs are housed, which can cause oral manipulation of pen mates. Providing straw might be one solution to this problem. Another solution could be reached through genetic selection.

The aim with this thesis is to make a comparison between forcing tulips in a hydroponic system and the forcing off tulips that have been planted in soil. The results are mostly based on interviews with six Dutch and one Swedish tulip forcer and the managing director at the Horticultural Research Centre, Proeftuin Zwaagdijke, in the Netherlands. There are benefits and disadvantages with both methods. Tulip bulbs planted in soil seem to get a brighter colour after forcing, compared with those forced ?in water?.

Background: Studies show that unsolved contact tracing of chlamydia increase in Uppsala County. Research shows that the meeting between patient and caregiver, when performing a contact tracing, may be crucial to the outcome of contact tracing. Objective: The aim of the study was to investigate how midwives describe the encounter with the patient during contact tracing in youth clinics in Uppsala County Council. Methods: A qualitative approach with semi- structured interviews was used to collect data. Nine midwives of varying age and work experience from seven different youth clinics in Uppsala County Council were interviewed.

Bakgrund: På intensivvårdsavdelningar finns olika rutiner kring huruvida endotrakealtubens position hos intuberade skall skiftas eller bibehållas i samma mungipa, då sidbyten kan leda till allvarliga komplikationer. Rutinen vid CIVA har varit att byta endotrakealtubens position på alla intuberade patienter en gång per dygn. Varken rutinen med skifte samt bibehållen position har utvärderats. Syftet med studien är att undersöka oralt intuberade patienters munhälsa vid bibehållen position av endotrakealtub under vårdtiden. Metod: Studien är en kvantitativ deskriptiv tvärsnittsstudie.

SAMMANFATTNING Syfte: Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka utbudet i skolkafeterior på gymnasieskolor i Uppsala län och därefter granska hur kafeteriorna följde råden och rekommendationerna från Livsmedelsverket angående vad som bör finnas till försäljning i skolkafeterior. Avsikten var också att undersöka ungdomars inställning till det utbud som fanns i skolkafeterian och även undersöka hur ungdomarnas matvanor såg ut. Metod: Studien utfördes genom att rektorer på de sex aktuella skolorna kontaktades angående förfrågan om medverkan i studien. Efter godkännande besöktes skolorna och dess kafeterior där 10 slumpmässigt utvalda elever per skola fick fylla i en enkät. Skolkafeteriornas utbud undersöktes av författarna genom en inventeringsblankett. Resultat: Skolkafeteriorna hade ett utbud som inte fullständigt följde Livsmedelsverkets rekommendationer om hälsosamma produkter. Ungdomarna tyckte dock att utbudet på deras skolkafeterior var bra.

This master thesis is made in co-operation with the Department of Forest Management and Products at the Swedish University of Agriculture in Uppsala and the Forestry Association in Stockholm. The purpose of the Master thesis was to describe how pre-schools in Sweden use forests and green areas, and to understand how different factors can affect the use of the nature. The purpose of the interviews was to create a picture of attitudes and routines of the pre-schools, in the matter of visiting the nature. The thesis is built on interviews where fifteen pre-schools in five large cities around Sweden participated. Among these pre-schools, five of them worked with special focus on nature, while the other ten did not have any particular focus connected to their activity.

BackgroundNumber of patients treated with medicine that has an anticoagulation character is constantly increasing. Chronic atrial fibrillation is the most common diagnosis being treated, but other diagnoses such as venous thrombosis), pulmonary embolism, stroke, coronary stent thrombosis and arterial thrombosis treated. There are a variety of anticoagulant drugs. In Sweden Warfarin is used as standard medicine for oral anticoagulation therapy.PurposeThe purpose of this study is to examine and reflect nurses' experiences of working on anticoagulation clinic, and if he / she claims to have access to the necessary skills and resources to carry out a safe care.DesignThe study has a qualitative design with semi-structured interviews which were analyzed with an inductive approach. The interviews included six respondents.FindingsThe results showed that nurses who worked at anticoagulation Clinics had no specific training to operate these clinics.

Partille municipality is planning an extension of the building Forellen. Green environments in health care have been shown to improve the health of patients, especially in elderly care. This report addresses the possibility of using the leftover space in close connection to a dementia and short-term accommodation to a winter garden and a terrace. The report also analyzes the impact of these green spaces on the residents.The purpose is to find alternative answers on the issue through the study of nursing homes and green spaces, and that these may be useful for Partille municipality and inspiration for future projects. The goal is to get conclusions in to a report, drawings, and an oral presentation.The results show that the design of environments can affect human well-being and also be healing both mentally and physically.
