It is, therefore important to choose suppliers that are able to compete with the market demands.The market demands in the textile industry have lead to shorter product life cycles, which have caused manufacturers to deliver flexibility with high technology to compete successfully on the global market. To achieve the market requirements the underlying factor is to be aware and optimally use and control time. New technology can have a major influence in the production development, if the company choose to take benefit of the advantages, by optimal allocation of the internal resources the productivity and efficiency will increase, to accomplish a competitive advantage. One way to achieve this is by investing in a Unit Production System.In our thesis we have questioned what the main driving forces for an apparel manufacturing company is when it chooses to invest in new technology.

The purpose of this essay was to try to find out if the optimal farrowing pen exists. By interviewing producers, veterinarians and salesmen and also through a literature study, I have tried to evaluate advantages and disadvantages regarding different types of pen formations and environmental details. The interviews with the producers showed that they all were satisfied with their particular farrowing pen. It also showed that one material can be functional in one farrowing pen but not in another. The determining factor for the outcome of the farrowing pen was the individual experience and the way of thinking of the producers. The veterinarians were of the opinion that there today were no existing farrowing pens that responded to the pigs needs. However, the results on the farms were generally good. The salesmen thought that the production costs could be lower if a sort of a standard pen was used.

Thesenorms may cause feelings of guilt and shame in women who have an abortion. The abortion rightis built upon conflicting standpoints; one is that women have right to have an abortion, withoutbeing questioned. Second is the notion that abortion is something that should be avoided, implyingthat you?ve done something wrong if you have had an abortion.With this project and physical product I want to explore and discuss the contemporary discourseon abortion in Sweden.

Syfte: Uppsatsen ?mnar att unders?ka om det nuvarande ramverket f?r redovisning av kryptotillg?ngar ?r f?renlig med m?let om att uppn? j?mf?rbarhet i redovisningen mellan olika f?retag. Genom att studera hur olika f?retag integrerar kryptotillg?ngar i sin redovisning och unders?ka om det f?rekommer redovisningsm?ssiga skillnader som kan p?verka intressenters m?jlighet till j?mf?rande analyser avser denna studie att bidra till den p?g?ende diskussionen om utformningen av redovisningspraxis f?r kryptotillg?ngar. Metod: Studien ?r baserad p? en kvalitativ unders?kning med en explorativ forskningsansats. Det empiriska materialet i studien best?r av ?rsredovisningar fr?n nio olika bolag med exponering mot kryptotillg?ngar som f?ljer IFRS eller K3 i sin koncernredovisning. Datamaterialet har analyserats med hj?lp av relevant normgivning inom IFRS respektive K3 samt tv? institutionella teorier, propriet?ra kostnadsteorin och agentteorin. Resultat och slutsats: Studien visar att det f?rekommer klassificeringar av kryptovalutor som avviker fr?n den befintliga utgivna v?gledningen f?r dessa tillg?ngar. Dessutom framkommer det att samma kryptovaluta v?rderas med anv?ndning av fyra olika v?rderingsmetoder.

This thesis has been conducted at Saab Bofors Dynamics AB. The purpose was to investigate if a non-linear missile model could be stabilized when the optimal control signal is computed considering constraints on the control input. This is particularly interesting because the missile is controlled with rudders that have physical bounds. This strategy is called Model Predictive Control. Simulations are conducted to compare this strategy with others; firstly simulations with step responses and secondly simulations when the missile is supposed to hit a moving target.

Denna studie behandlar miljöfarliga ämnen i byggprocessen. Syftet med studien är att ge läsaren en inblick i hur miljöfarliga ämnen uppfattas i en byggprocess. Ämnen som kommunikation, kunskap och ansvar leder läsaren genom studien för att uppfylla syftet. För att skaffa mig information till studien har jag genomfört ett antal intervjuer samt läst på olika hemsidor till diverse företag och organisationer, samt tryckt litteratur. Resultatet av studien visar att kommunikation, kunskap och ansvar är tre viktiga aspekter för ett lyckat projekt.

Den här rapporten handlar om hur en optimal nivå på verifieringsinformation i kontrakt skall uppnås. När kontrakten skrivs finns begränsad information framme. Det finns kundkrav men systemkonstruktionen är inte fastställd. Radarsystem är väldigt komplexa produkter vilket leder till att det är många år mellan kontrakt och slutleverans. Under tiden utvecklas ny teknik som kan leda till att konstruktionen behöver ändras.

Teachers and special education teachers play a vital role in the creation of a study environment that fosters productivity in students. The current study aims to further expand the knowledge regarding teacher?s perception of common work with developing an optimal study environment within the classroom and the educational institution. In order to achieve this, qualitative interviews have been performed and study results analyzed according Nilholm´s model of the three different perspectives on special education: The critical perspective, the compensatory perspective and the dilemma perspective.The study results show that the concept of order and study environment is not clearly defined among the interviewees. However, the concept appears to presuppose the teacher?s responsibility to create the sense of security and effective study environment to those students who express the wish to educate themselves (Children make the things right only if they have been shown the correct way to do it).

In this thesis I will propose and test a pipeline for creating in-game animations using motion capture technology, with the aim to export to a 3D game engine, such as UDK or similar. Even though there are already established pipelines for creating in-game animations in the game industry, they are not of public knowledge and dissemination of information is hindered by the severe NDA (non-disclosure agreements) imposed on the studios and artists. I will therefore use my experience with game production and as a student, to research and propose an optimal pipeline for developing in-game animation that may be used by other students, researchers and independent game developers. The methodology used to test the pipeline will be a case study based on the student project Synergy, which I am developing with other third year students also attending the Game design Education at Gotland University..

To get an optimal print result with rotogravure on improved newsprint, MF-paper, knowledge aboutwhat adjustment that should be done through the whole production is needed. This degree project investigatesthe reproduction?s effect on the final print result.A test print is done at Quebecor World Nordic Interprint´s regular print unit. The evaluation of theprint shows how important the use of a unit adjusted ICC-profile is for the print quality. A comparisonbetween the two separation methods GCR and UCR shows that Interprint´s present ICC-profile, usingUCR as separation method, gives less missing dots.

Invandringen sker i Sverige i allt större utsträckning, och till följd av det ställs högre krav på den transkulturella omvårdnaden. Nya krav ställs på vårdpersonalen i deras arbete. Med detta som grund utformades studiens syfte, som var att genom en litteraturstudie belysa patienters upplevelser och uppfattning av sjukdom och hälsa relaterad till deras kultur, samt vad som kan göras för att förbättra vården utifrån deras kulturella bakgrund. I resultatet visas att kulturella värderingar är de mest framträdande faktorerna som påverkar patientens uppfattning om sin hälsa och sjukdom.
