En 200 år gammal skånelänga uppnår 2000-talets energikravDetta arbete redovisar hur konstruktionsförbättringar på en gammalskånelänga kan förbättra husets boendestandard samt att huset tack vareförbättringarna uppfyller dagens krav ur energisynpunkt. Detta utförs utan attinskränka på dess arkitektoniska ursprung. Vi har tagit fram lösningar förhuset som förbättrar grunden väggarna och vinden, kortfattat tilläggsisolerasdessa och förbättras. För att få svar på hur våra förändringar har påverkathuset så har vi gjort beräkningar i ett energiprogram som bevisar att huset harförbättrats energimässigt och uppfyller dagens krav enligt BBR. Beräkningarhar även utförts i ett program som behandlar köldbryggor, detta för att visavad man kan tjäna på om man utför en åtgärd för at förhindra en köldbrygga..

Jag har under mitt kandidatarbete praktiserat på ett postproduktionsbolag i Stockholm som heter Cinepost. De har varit med i branschen i över tio år och har gjort många filmer. Där har jag varit med under ett flertal filmproduktioner och fått lära mig hur hela postproduktionskedjan går till. Jag har varit med och studerat alla delarna som ingår så som ljudläggning, tramp, dialogbearbetning, eftersynk och mix. KM Studio som arbetar med att dubba filmer och tv-serier har en studio i Cineposts lokaler.

The purpose of this study is to examine how participants perceive virtual agents shown on a computer display. In particular, it is explored to what extent participants transfer gender and attraction stereotypes that are commonly applied in the physical world to virtual agents. Previous related studies have often explored only text or voice interfaces, without any visually appearing agents, and here indeed found evidence for a transfer of gender stereotypes. Our hypothesis was that the addition of a visual agent interface would reinforce this effect. The results support our hypothesis that participants transfer human gender and attraction stereotypes onto virtual agents, as well as that these processes are affected by the visual representations of the agents..

The amounts of theories that deal with naval warfare are many. Several of those are developed under the previous century when tactics and technology were in the eve of development. Many of modern thinkers within science of war often refer to older but recognized theories. The purpose of this essay is to examine if the old but recognized theories are of current interest in modern naval warfare. The questions that are used in this essay are, what is the characteristics of the war of Yom Kippur with Mahan?s offensive and Corbett?s defensive as a starting-point and are there any of the theories that are prominent.

Intelligence is an elusive concept with strong links to business intelligence , in which organizations have recently more and more have incorporated the use of IT (Information Technology). A research carried out recently have identified the importance of effective monitoring, but there are few studies showing how organizations actually work in the field.A qualitative study consisting of the interviews with employees at an IT company was done to see how external monitoring is carried out in practice, in a specific company and how it would help the company to develop. The company we visited did not work with special procedures of any kind regarding external monitoring but still knew about the term and its meaning.The conclusion account for detected patterns as well as difficulties, including the definition of external monitoring which differs a lot between individuals. This paper goes through solar energy and what uses it has. It is also a guide in the choice of solar collectors forthe real estate that I have drawn for the thesis work.Solar energy is a renewable source of energy from the Sun's light. Energy can be used to produce both heat andelectricity through solar collectors and solar cells. Some of the benefits of solar energy is that it is completely freeto extract, environmentally friendly and virtually maintenance-free. Disadvantages are that the technology isexpensive, does not cover the entire energy needs and takes a long time until it pays.

Overall aim of this master?s thesis is to describe and identify perceived barriers in Swedish businesses within solar energy field and analyze, based on four theoretical viewpoints, how these barriers can be handled. In other words how can the barriers be overcome or eliminated to better succeed in the commercialization process? The method applied is qualitative in which data has been collected through phone interviews originated from seven Cleantech businesses which operate within solar energy. Furthermore this thesis has a descriptive- and an explorative purpose.

This paper is about the extent to which simplified penetration calculations ofsmall-caliber projectiles is a useful tool for assessing the physical protectioncapability. This report is the written documentation of a project work carried out at the Division of Engineering Materials at Luleå University of Technology in cooperation with Seco Tools AB. The project deals with the analysis of residual stresses in Ti-Al-N thin film grown on WC/Co cutting inserts. The composition of Al varied from 0% up to 75%. Increasing the Al content in the Ti(1-x)Alx N compound improves the compressive residual stresses even after annealing of the material. The experiments have been performed in a high temperature x-ray diffractometer (HTXRD) where the interplanar atomic spacing was determined in-situ and subsequent converted into stresses.

Syftet med undersökningen var att undersöka hur barn bygger utifrån en inspirationsbild samt om barnen lär sig mer då de utmanas av en pedagog. Undersökningen genomfördes med hjälp av observationer av barn på en förskoleavdelning där samtliga barn var tre år gamla.  Resultatet visade att de flesta barnen byggde vertikalt. Endast ett barn valde att bygga horisontellt och använde inspirationsbilden som underlag till sitt bygge. Resultatet visade även att det har stor betydelse om det finns en pedagog närvarande som utmanar barnen vid bygg och konstruktionslek och kan synliggöra deras lärande. Skillnaden i barnens byggande när de blev utmanande av en pedagog var att de använde sig av flera byggklossar när de byggde samt av flera olika geometriska former på byggklossarna..

This is a study about the communication interaction in the context of the reference work at some public university-libraries and some private company libraries in Gothenburg and Borås. The primary purpose of the study is to investigate the communication interaction in a library situation. The second purpose is to deepen the knowledge, understanding and to establish what is important in this communication. Focus has been on how the intermediaries communicate and how she or he perceives this communication. The intermediary needs to manage the communication with all the different patrons and different information needs of the patrons.

On some occasions it may be inappropriate with a cameraman behind the camera. In somecases there is no cameraman available or it is a smaller event, like a family celebration, to befilmed. It can also be difficult for a cameraman to shoot from certain angles. One solution forthis kind of situations can be to remotely control the camera movements. There are thosekinds of solutions on the market today but they either address professional filmmakers or thefunctionality is limited, for example by the absence of wireless remote control.This project aims to develop a solution to the problem with absence of wireless remote controland also a solution with more flexibility and less complexity than today?s solutions.

När jag började på Digital Ljudproduktion program som tillhandahålls av BTH, var mitt syfte att lära mig allt om inspelningsmetoder av olika typer av ljud samt det bästa sättet att spela in olika ljudkällor och att uppnå bästa möjliga resultat i alla faser av arbetet (pre-produktion, produktion och efterproduktion). Exempelvis att välja den lämpligaste mikrofonen för inspelning av ett särskilt instrument kan vara svårt och ibland bör du tänka på avstånd, riktning eller/och vinkeln mellan mikrofonen och ljudkällan. Likaså, band med blås- (trumpet, saxofon) och slagverksinstrument (bongos, congas), som inte är vanliga här i Skandinavien, ger goda erfarenheter genom att spela in dem. Dessa exempel visar på behovet av att ha kapacitet till anpassning med syftet att nå bästa möjliga resultat. Att uppnå denna kapacitet var målet med detta projekt..

I den här uppsatsen redogör jag för mitt arbete som C-foto på långfilmen Äta, Sova, Dö där jag jobbade i två månader under våren 2011. Man får följa min väg från förberedelserna jag gjorde inför filmen och mina tidigare erfarenheter i området, till hur det gick för mig på inspelningen. Jag beskriver även min undersökning av idéarbete och produktionsprocesser inom långfilmen ur mitt perspektiv. Jag visar två olika sätt man kan arbeta med idéarbete på film utifrån intervjuerna jag gjorde med regissören Gabriela Pichler för Äta, sova, dö och filmregissören Johan Lundborg på hans film Isolerad. Skildringar gör jag också via intervjuerna jag hade med produktionsbolaget AFOS och teaterregissören Kent R Andersson mot hur idéarbete fungerar under reklamproduktioner och teater. För att lättare visa hur arbetet i de olika produktionerna kan se ut har jag sammanställt produktionsprocesser för varje produktion steg för steg från idé till färdig produkt..
