Utbildningsnämndens arkiv : En del av det moderna samhället som har gått till historien

This essay is based on the work of arranging and making an inventory for an archive consisting of records from the Board of Education (Utbildningsnämnden) within the administration of the County Council in Uppsala, Sweden. This archive is kept at the County Councils Archives in Uppsala where I have done the work. I have documented the process and discussed the complex of problems relating to it. In this particular case the issue of limitation of the office of origin and the respect of the fonds, or the principle of provenance, have been of interest. This is due to the fact that the records had been rearranged and mixed with records with other origin related to the Board of Education.

Rapporten utreder de speciella karaktärsdragen en kundanpassad produktion har på företagen Eaton Corporation, Hengelo i Nederländerna och Ge Healthcare, Uppsala i Sverige. Fallgroparna vid internationell order som tas upp är t.ex.: kunskapsgap från säljsidan, inga standardiserade dokument för order, skräddarsydda lösningar utan moduler i ERP systemet, ERP system som inte uppdateras systematiskt, kundanpassade produkter, budgeteringsmall beroende på ERP system och vilket land budgetering sker i, restriktioner i ERP systemet, kommunikationsprotokoll mellan berörda avdelningar, integrationen mellan de berörda avdelningarna, kommunikation mellan de berörda avdelningarna och kundens inblandning i projektet. Det som syns genom studien är att företagen är fullt medvetna om att det sker misstag vid Front Office men väljer att inte kvantifiera eller analysera sina misstag.

This report is about Swedish statistics on work related accidents and work related diseases onboard Swedish ships. The authors analyzed collected statistics from two authorities and an insurance organization in an attempt to compare the data. In order to understand the need for statistics and why the authority publishes them; minor literature study was conducted. The results of the literature study are in the background chapter. The requirements for the different cases to be registered in the statistics have been investigated, in unity with the issue in question.

Informationsöverföring i byggprojekt mellan projektering och produktion: Produktionsplanering med BIM på Veidekke

Den svenska byggbranschen står idag inför ett vägskäl, börja basera produktionsplaneringen på bygginformationsmodeller (BIM) eller att fortsätta genomföra planeringen på traditionellt vis. Tidigare har det inte funnits programvara som har haft funktionaliteten att koppla ihop hela processen från BIM till en produktionstidplan. På senare tid har det kommit program som klarar av processen, därmed har ett antal byggföretag börjat se nyttan av att ta tillvara på den information som finns i BIM från projekteringen och använda den för produktionen. Arbetet har genomförts hos entreprenadföretaget Veidekke. Det är ett av företagen som vill börja utnyttja informationen som finns tillgänglig i BIM, för produktionsplanering.

Kartläggning av materialflödet i Peabs försörjningskedja till byggarbetsplats med SCOR

The construction industry has not undergone the same logistical development as the manufacturing industry; this, in combination with increased material price, leads to the fact that the construction industry must be improved. This master thesis is a part of the research cooperation Brains & Bricks goal of reducing production costs for the construction sector by 25 percent. Brains & Bricks is a cooperation between Linköping University, Peab and Katrineholms municipality. The master thesis aims to identify improvements in the flow of material, the Supply chain operation reference, SCOR, model has been used and the work has been carried out on one of Peab?s construction sites. At present the business is characterized by bad communication both between the construction site and the office as well as between the construction site and suppliers.

Prestation i traktplanering

This study was an assignment for the company Holmen which is located in the region of Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. The study was focusing on the responsibilities of a forestry planner during the planning season. The study was investigating about how much time the planner spent in the office, in the car and out in the forest. Any other issues that would cause delays were also identified. To be more effective and to increase the number of objects to a district bank, a better preparation in the planning stage (for thinning?s or clear cuts) is needed as well as faster transition on to the next area.

The change encountered several problems where the correctional supervisor was percieved to act unsurely and indecisively whilst parts of the staff constructed and implimented several courses of action to prevent the process of change..

En studie om rehabilitering - en skamgörande process

The purpose of this essay is using theories about labeling and social bonds to study whether a measure of rehabilitation for the psychically disabled contributes to a return to a normal status as not-labeled. Partly we examine whether the activities organized by the regulation-ruled authorities during the work of rehabilitation lead to shame or pride, and partly how these activities are organized regarding the processes that lead to the emotions pride or shame among the participants. Method: qualitative semi-structured face-to-face interviews with professional rehabilitation-actors at the Public Employment Office (PEO), the Social Insurance Office (SIO), the Social Service (SOS), the Psychiatry and the Division of Labour Market (AME).Conclusions: the Psychiatry clients are treated with respect, may participate, and communication is characterized by attunement, therefore strong social bonds can be built. On the contrary, among the other examined activities, we found many elements that arouse shame. Since these are more ruled by regulations, the result is engulfment and demands on conformity, because the compromise-possibilities are almost non-existent.

ITIL införande på Banverket ICT

Banverket ICT är en relativt ny enhet med de sammanslagna enheterna Banverket IT och Banverket Telenät. För att få ihop det nya arbetssättet finns långt gångna tankar på att jobba enligt ITIL. This diploma work was performed because the company Sveriges BostadsrättsCentrum, with the abbreviation SBC, had a need to gain insight into how changes in the Work Environment Act and related regulations which took effect January 1, 2009 affecting their work with the work environment. The changes mean that the client may hand over his work environment responsibilities to a contractor and that he has to select so-called building work environment co-ordinators. At SBC they are working as representatives for tenant-owner's association when a construction is about to be carried out. The purpose was to ascertain how changes may affect the work at SBC. The diploma work intends to educate the staff at SBC how work with the work environment would look like if they met the regulatory requirements.
