This essay deals with a cultic building which focuses on the stone feature during the Bronze Age in Sweden and Denmark. I will discuss about the meaning of the stone feature and it also deals with the surrounding next to the building in order to see a bigger perspective. The study also consists of a valuation of what an emballage supplier can offer to add value to their services.Method: The study is based on interviews with people who are working at Volvo Logistics and Volvo Car Corporation. Volvo Logistics provide their customers with standard packaging material, which they own and administrate. Volvo Car Corporation is one of their customers.

This essay consists of a heuristic analysis of referents in the Swedish educational act, leaning on the methodological guidelines of discourse analysis. The overall aim of the essay has been to analyse in what way language in the educational act works as guidelines and law in relation to teachers? work. To correspond to this aim an openly structured questionnaire has been used, providing an empirical view of how teachers understand certain words, or referents, in the educational act. This empirical data has then been shaped to a spectrum view of the definitions of the referents showing a number of deductable facts, including the significance of the apparent use of institutional and professional language, which then have been viewed from two theoretical perspectives.

Studiens syfte har varit att öka kunskapen och förståelsen för sexuella övergrepp mot kvinnor, så som den beskrivs i ett urval av forskningslitteraturen. Frågan som har varit i fokus är: Hur diskuteras våldtäkt och sexuella övergrepp i forskningslitteraturen, ur ett teoretiskt och behandlingsmässigt avseende? Studien har utförts i form av en kunskapsöversikt och bygger på ett urval av svenskspråkig samt internationell forskningslitteratur. Huvudinriktningen har varit att med feministisk och psykodynamisk teori som analysverktyg, diskutera sexuella övergrepp utifrån betydelsen av förövarens identitet och bakgrund, aktuella normer, föreställningar och värderingar i samhället kring förväntningar på förövare och offer. Vidare har sexuella övergrepp granskats ur en juridisk aspekt.

Arbetet behandlar människohandel för sexuella ändamål av gränsöverskridande karaktär och fokus ligger på lagstiftningen kring offret i processen. Sveriges inställning till människohandel, och i synnerhet till offret, är särskilt intressant med tanke på den nationella lagstiftningen som kriminaliserar sexköp.Internationell och regional rätt presenterar en enhällig definition av människohandel och stadgar vikten av att åtala och skydda. Det finns dock fortfarande ingen internationell, än mindre regional, konsensus om hur människohandelsoffret ska skyddas. I internationell rätt verkar skyddsåtgärder väga lika tungt som åtagandet att åtala, vilket dock inte återspeglas i regional rätt och nationell lagstiftning. Istället skapas en hierarki: åtala och sedan skydda.

Denna fallstudie tar upp enskilda kvinnors upplevelser i samband med mediala diskurser och identitet utifrån deras position som tidigare utsatta för direkt patriarkalt våld. Vissa diskursiva begrepp diskuteras, exempelvis ?offer?. Centralt för respondenterna är att inte identifiera sig med dessa termer. Våldserfarenheterna har påverkat samtliga respondenter och det präglar hur de förhåller sig till diskursiva termer.

The study is a case study about the green urban district, East Kvillebäcken, located in Gothenburg, Hisingen. East Kvillebäcken is the first urban district in Sweden with ambition to build sustainable according to the certification system Miljöbyggnad, which make it a pioneer project. The purpose is to investigate the upcoming and the meaning of the green urban district in East Kvillebäcken and show how public employees think the urban district can affect social, ecologic and economic aspects in the area. Dialogue interviews were done with four public employees, one estate agent and two residents. Local plans and other authority documents were used to get a deeper understanding for the case study.

The office is the working environment in which an increasing proportion of the population spends their days . The general discourse of this kind of offices is that they constitute an advantageous design that allows organizational changes without the need for redevelopment . From a work perspective, this office design is both criticized and acclaimed . Problems with noise is frequently reported in research which can lead to ill health.

It is a well known archaeological concern that the remains of human bones left from the bronze age and early iron age Scandinavia are not nearly enough to represent the estimated population of the time. Furthermore the bones of each find rarely represent a whole individual. The majority of the bones must have been disposed of somewhere else, possibly scattered in running waters or in the fields, where they have evaporated or are securely hidden from archaeological excavations.This thesis deals with the grave concept and the problem in using a word that is so very clouded by its modern, western meaning. It also offers an alternative explanation to why the bones are handled the way they are and why they are found in such awkward contexts..

Syftet med denna uppsats är att analysera socialsekreterares föreställningar kring mäns våld mot kvinnor, våldsutsatta kvinnor och kring stöd och hjälp till våldsutsatta kvinnor. Uppsatsen är en kvalitativ studie som bygger på halvstrukturerade forskningsintervjuer med sex socialsekreterare, verksamma inom fyra olika socialkontor inom en kommun. Socialsekreterarna arbetar inom följande områden inom socialtjänsten: vuxengrupp, barn och ungdom, mottagningsgrupp, ekonomiskt bistånd och barn och familj. De mest framträdande resultaten i undersökningen är att informanterna ser till olika faktorer och orsaker för att förklara och förstå mäns våld mot kvinnor, förklaringar som kan kopplas till ett antal olika teoretiska perspektiv så som individinriktat perspektiv, vanmaktsperspektiv, kulturellt perspektiv, systemteoretiskt perspektiv, feministiskt perspektiv samt ekologiskt perspektiv. Genomgående är att de flesta informanter utgår ifrån förklaringar som kan knytas till mer än ett teoretiskt perspektiv.

This is a qualitative analysis that, based on systemic functional linguistics, or SFL, and genre theory, has aimed to study the genre pedagogical implications on written language as they occur in narrative stories and expositions whilst the model is introduced. Systemic functional linguistics is a linguistic theory that views the organisation of language as functional options for meaning; language is a set of resources to channel meaning through realisation. Genre theory elucidates the pragmatic and educational uses of SFL in the categorizing of language in configurations of meanings as they are set and understood in different cultures.  The purpose of the survey is to do so with focus on successful and less successful writers by attempting to answer two primal issues:How is development of written language in reference to the introduction of the genre pedagogical model visible in the studied texts?How does genre pedagogical teaching influence successful and less successful writers as visible in their writing with a certain purpose?To answer these issues the survey is based on narratives and expositions written by high school students who have been divided into two groups according to the purpose of the survey. One text in each genre has been written by the students before and after lessons based on the genre pedagogical learning wheel explaining the relevant genres.

Filmmusic is often composed specially for a film. When analyzing film-music it seems very common to study the function of the music in a narrative context in order to see how it cooperates or relates to this narration. In the present thesis I am investigating the interaction between film and music as two ingredients on an equal level. In short: what happens when a filmmaker chooses music that has already been composed for another occasion, even in another time and a different cultural context? My aim is twofold: first to examine current film analytic strategies, secondly to find new ways of comprehend pre-composed music in relation to its new setting in a film.

Vi vill undersöka vilka tydliga stereotyper vi kan hitta och om det finns ett genomgående tema mellan filmerna. Vi kommer avslutningsvis att se det ur ett producentperspektiv och se vad det kan finnas för konsekvenser av filmerna och hur man som producent i framtiden kan hantera dessa. Metod: Vi har med hjälp av den kvalitativa forskningsmetoden rörlig bildanalys studerat våra fem filmer utifrån ett socialkonstruktionistiskt perspektiv. Teoretiska perspektiv: Vår huvudsakliga teori består av teorier kring genusvetenskap, populärkultur samt även stereotyper på film. Empiri: För att besvara frågeställningen har vi analyserat filmerna De ofrivilliga, Du & jag, När mörkret faller, Så som i himmelen och Vingar av glas. Resultat: Det vi har kommit fram till efter arbetes slut är att kvinnor till viss del framställs stereotypt och då ofta på ett negativt sätt. Däremot finns det undantag, då vissa kvinnor startar med att vara svaga under filmens början och utvecklas och växer sig så pass starka att de orkar bryta sig loss i slutet av historien.
