Background: Intimate partner violence (IPV) is a large public health problem that foremost affects both women and children, nationally and globally. Several accessible reports about IPV and education for staff that in their occupation can meet battered people shows the importance of increased education for several Occupational groups to decrease the large number of unrecorded cases.Purpose: The study explored how six Occupational groups, in the municipality of Kungälv, related to IPV in their professions, were influenced by whether they had education in IPV or not.Method: We chose a quantitative approach, a cross sectional study. A questionnaire was constructed and handed out to 156 participations. The Occupational groups were a section in a hospital, the police, the home care services, an elementary school, a pre-school and the public dental care. The answer frequency was 86 %.

This thesis deals with the leisure-time reading of fourteen men with two different occupations, teachers of technology and directors of companies. The main reasons for writing the thesis are that very little is written about mens reading habits and also statistics that tell that mens reading decline regardless of educational level. The purpose has been to compare the reading and relations to literature between the two groups of men and to find out if any differences have to do with factors such as social background or age. The questions we have asked our collected data has been what, how and why the men read. We have tried not to investigate the work-related reading although we are aware of the difficulty in separating this from the leisure-time reading.

People spend much of their timeat work and health is affected by how we experience our everyday work situation. Health in the workplace is important for public health and seems to improve the Occupational health of theemployees. The pace of work and requirements have hasincreased at work and it's not equal accepted to have an obstacle that makesyour work capacity decreases. Despite this, there are health factors that enable us meet therequirements and can maintaingood health in the workplace. Theaim of the studywas to see if there has beena change in healthcare workers work-related health over time.

Aim and questions: The purpose of this paper is to clarify the responsibilities employers have for rehabilitation and to explore how it conforms to an employers' actual condi-tions. Furthermore, the intention is to increase knowledge of how employers interact with other partners in the rehabilitation process and what affects sick people to return to work. The following three questions form the basis of this paper: What are employers? responsibilities for rehabilitation under the law and how is it consistent with an employer's actual conditions? What is the role of employers in the rehabilitation co- operation with other actors? What factors influence sick people to return to work?Method: The paper has used a true scientific and a legal sociological method to examine how the regulated employer responsibility for rehabilitation relates to what is practical in re-ality. To achieve the purpose, four empirical interviews were conducted with Örebro Municipality, Insurance, Occupational health Previa and a doctor, which all of them have an important role in the rehabilitation process.

Metod: En kvalitativ induktiv ansats antogs med öppna intervjuer. Fem chefer rekryterades genom ett avsiktligt typiskt urval via kontakter från en företagshälsovård i Jönköping. Intervjuerna bandades, transkriberades och analyserades genom en kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Resultat: Övergripande tema: ?Arbets- och privatlivets krav ? Att få ihop livspusslet?.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva de erfarenheter som arbetsterapeuter och långvarigt sjuka klienter har av kreativa aktiviteter som intervention inom arbetsterapi. En deskriptiv kvalitativ metod valdes för att besvara syftet. Data samlades in via semistrukturerade intervjuer med arbetsterapeuter samt genom en skriftlig frågeställning till klienter. Utifrån en latent innehållsanalys analyserades insamlad data vilket resulterade i ett övergripande tema, ?Kreativa aktiviteter används som ett medel och ett mål inom arbetsterapi? samt tre kategorier, ?Ett medel som är avledande och underlättar samtal med klienten?, ?Ett medel att observera och träna klienters funktionsförmåga?, samt ?Ett medel att hitta strategier som kan överföras till vardagliga aktiviteter?.

The method was qualitative and the selection comprized ten district nurses in Uppsala län that were interviewed individually on the basis of a semi structured interview guide that the authors the actual created. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva föräldrars erfarenheter av problem med aktivitetsutförande i skolan för barn med ADHD. För att uppnå syftet med studien tog författarna del av tidigare inspelade djupintervjuer med fem föräldrar till barn med ADHD i åldrarna 6-18 år. Vid hantering av data tillämpades kvalitativ innehållsanalys med en induktiv ansats för att analysera föräldrarnas erfarenheter. Analys av data resulterade i följande kategorier: ? Problem i sociala interaktioner hindrade aktivitetsutförande?, ? Den fysiska miljön begränsar aktivitetsutförandet?, ?Institutionella brister hindrar aktivitetsutförande?.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva arbetsterapeuters erfarenheter av interventioner för vuxna med ADHD med fokus på verksamma strategier. Åtta halvstrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes med arbetsterapeuter verksamma inom öppenvårdspsykiatrin. Intervjuer analyserades enligt kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Analysen resulterade i fyra huvudkategorier : Synliggöra behovet av förändring. Att tillsammans med klienten skapa en fungerande vardag med tillhörande underkategorier strategier för att skapa struktur i aktivitet övertid, skapa strategier för enskilda aktiviteter, strategier för sömn och sömnvanor.

Syftet med denna studie var att jämföra antalet anpassade utomhuslekplatser i Norrlands kommuner sedan 2001, och få svar på de ansvarigas uppfattning gällande tillgänglighet och anpassning, då tidigare studier visat på brister gällande dessa områden. Barn med funktionsnedsättning riskerar att uppleva social isolering och diskriminering om utomhuslekplatsers fysiska miljö skapar barriärer. Enligt funktionshinderpolitiken ska Sveriges allmänna platser och byggnader vara tillgängliga för alla år 2016. Metod: En enkätundersökning med mixad metod genomfördes där enkäter postades till de ansvariga för utomhuslekplatser i Norrlands 54 kommuner. Resultat: Resultatet jämfördes genomgående med en studie från 2001.

Background: The majority of the Occupational accidents and work-related diseases at Swedish workplaces occur due to poor ergonomics during lifts and transportation of objects. The most common consequence of poor ergonomic conditions is low back pain (LBP) and the risk of developing LBP increases as the mechanical loading on the intervertebral disks grows. This study has investigated the biomechanical loading in the low back during two different types of patient lifts. The first lift (lift A) is developed by Modern Arbetsteknik (MA) and the second lift (lift B) is a common lifting technique among care workers. Objectives: The aim of the study was to identify any advantages or disadvantages with MA?s lift, regarding shear and compression forces in the L5/S1 disc.

Arbetsterapi är grundat på att engagemang i aktivitet är nödvändigt för hälsa och välmående. Trots detta har mycket av professionsutvecklingen lett till interventioner som inte är aktivitetsbaserade. Basal Kroppskännedom? (BK) och arbetsterapi har flera gemensamma grundantaganden.

The Swedish old-age care will in the near future face an extensive need to recruit enrolled nurses by virtues of the demographical development. The generation born in the 1940s will soon retire, and at the same time the rest of the population is growing older. One thing that becomes more important in how to draw more people to the old-age care, is to understand how the ones who allready work there experience their own worksituation.The purpose of this study was to find out how enrolled nurses from two different generations experienced their own Occupational role and make similarities and differences between the two generations experiences visible. The topics of interest in our study are the respondents own thoughts about their education, their worksituation today, what they think of the future and how they believe others regard their work. To fulfill the purpose of our study we used qualitative interviews.
