 English abstract  The culture of hotel and restaurant work.Dangerous for apprentices and students?The study is based on a survey targeting 50 teachers at chef schools with good geographic distribution of 9 schools. Teachers answer questions on bullying and sexual harassment in the hotel and restaurant sector, and students practice shock in the meeting with the industry. Students face a hard and tough environment where it is expected that it will suffer a great deal of harassment and degrading treatment as part of a tradition. There seems to be a general but erroneous belief that the professional climate has improved.

Customer Relationship Management This bachelor thesis is brought together to analyze the transformation from traditional marketing to Customer Relationship Management. The development in the technology world has made the marketing focus shift from products and their functionality to customers and value creation. Because of the tougher competition that developed from new channels of communication, corporations had to generate new sources of value for their customers in order to establish lasting relationships with them. Therefore we found it interesting to investigate how companies within the e-commerce business handle the transition towards customer relationship management.

The purpose of the study is to describe how financial management functions within the individual and family care services in three mid-sized municipalities.27 interviews with managers and key personnel at three management levels in Örebro, VĂ€xjö and Jönkö-ping were conducted using a descriptive approach and qualitative method. In addition governing docu-ments and delineations in regards to these municipalities have been studied.The combined findings show that all municipalities have separate visions and control systems/models for their municipality with focus on management by objectives and politically determined goals, which in-clude economical measurements and requirements for the departments. Moreover, are also tracking sys-tems, which are described as following up on the results thru indicators and/or measurable goals. The municipalities utilize framework financials and budget processing on a high level and its timings appears similar in each municipality.Additionally the study has shown that there is a desire and aspiration to implement central economic goals in all three municipalities. The interviewees describe how they use their leadership to anchor, follow up and create participation in economic objectives and results thru instrumental and institutional leadership.

Revisiting the Role of Code of Conduct in Compliance with CSR Demands in the Supply Chain Management of Electronics Business

The purpose of this study is to understand how codes of conduct function within the context of supply chain of electronic industry. This is a qualitative research and a case study is the research approach. Conclusions are that the codes of conducts could be perceived differently within different contexts. Therefore, cultural and legal issues should be considered while formulating, implementing codes of conduct or assessing the compliance..

EnkÀtundersökningar i teori och praktik - med inriktning pÄ folkbibliotek

The purpose of this thesis is to study to what extent the methodological theories are being reflected in the construction of user surveys at public libraries in Sweden. The study has been conducted as a qualitative literature study in two parts. The first part is an examination of literature concerning survey methodology; the second part is a study of three user surveys conducted at Swedish public libraries after 1995. Our main results indicate that the theories about methodology are followed in part, though it cannot be determined whether this is due to any actual methodological studies, common sense, or just copying other surveys. In our study we have found some areas of user survey construction that need further attention and that would benefit from more extensive methodology studies on the part of survey designers.

Prehospital sjukvÄrdsledning - sammanstÀllning av erfarenheter frÄn KAMEDO-rapporter

Background: An effective management of the healthcare's organization on one disaster site is considered as a condition in order to decrease damages and suffering at them as been hit of an accident. In KAMEDO-reports is described true accidents, how among other thing organizational parts been implemented and evaluations of which importance different decisions had. Aim: The aim of the study was to examine KAMEDO-reports concerning prehospital medical management on disaster sites. Method: Eight KAMEDO-reports was examined with focus on organization and management. Results: Four areas in which all could be influenced by the healthcare personnel in leading position was described: Management and Co-operation, Load and Go - Stay and Play, Priority and Triage.

Syftet med uppsatsen Àr att undersöka om ledningens förstÄelse för Revenue Management (RM) pÄverkar kundens uppfattning om ett rÀttvist pris. 4M - en förutsÀttning för framgÄngsrika förÀndringsprocesser?

VÄrt syfte med uppsatsen Àr att utreda vilka faktorer som Àr av vikt för en framgÄngsrik förÀndringsprocess samt vilken pÄverkan ledarskap har pÄ faktorerna. Vi genomförde en kvalitativ undersökning dÀr vi intervjuade tio personer som Àr yrkesverksamma pÄ tvÄ hotell i Sverige. Vi intervjuade respondenterna om den förÀndringsprocess som ett hotellkedjebyte innebÀr, och om den ledarstil hotellens general managers anser sig ha och ha haft under bytet. VÄra sekundÀra kÀllor utgörs av teorier inom framför allt service management, change management samt ledarskap/management. Vi har anvÀnt en blandning av induktivt och deduktivt arbetssÀtt.

The breakdown of the ratification process of the EU constitution was in Sweden blamed on a lack of a debate concerning European issues. The constitution can be seen as the best and latest, but in no way the only, example of this problem. The breakdown can also been seen as proof of a larger legitimacy crises within the EU. The aim of the study is to determine whether or not there really was of lack of debate concerning the constitution in Sweden. This question is theoreticÂŹally connected to EU legitimacy through Habermas idea of a public sphere.

When the producers? responsibility for packaging was introduced in Sweden in 1994 the industry set up public recycling stations to facilitate the collection of the waste material. In order to establish recycling stations at suitable locations the municipalities assist the industry?s service organization for operation of the recycling stations, the Package and Newspaper Collection Service (Förpacknings- och tidningsinsamlingen, FTI). The objectives of this thesis are to improve the service of the public recycling stations within Lidingö town and to increase the accessibility to these stations for the inhabitants of Lidingö.
