Vem är/blir civilekonomen? : En studie om civilekonomernas identitetskapandeprocess.

Bakgrund: Inspirationen till denna studie uppkom av fo?rfattarnas intresse kring identiteter och deras intresse fo?r skapelseprocessen kring deras egna identiteter. Fra?gan som uppkom i samband med starten fo?r studien var vilka vi sja?lva har utvecklas till som blivande civilekonomer och vilka faktorer som hade pa?verkat oss.Syfte: Studiens syfte var att underso?ka skapelse- och fo?ra?ndringsprocessen av en civilekonoms professionsidentitet under studietiden.Metod: Studien a?r genomfo?rd pa? ett kvalitativt tillva?gaga?ngssa?tt. Studien har utfo?rts med en autoetnografisk teknik fo?r att presentera studiens empiri da?r a?ven fo?rfattarnas reflektioner presenteras som en empirika?lla.

Vikten av att skapa ett starkt varumärke

First time labelling occurred was when animal owners marked their cattle in order to distinguish the differences. The need for labelling was added when the trade had expanded during Roman times in order for the customers to know who manufactured their craft. Trademarks are characterized as a way to distinguish one's own product or service from someone else. The marketing purpose is to create an identity. The brand has an important role as an effective competitive tool for businesses.A brand can have many different functions, which will simplify a customer's decision making process in selecting a service or product.

Ideologen Stuart Murray analyserar detta skifte inom den neoanabaptistiska tankeströmningen, och detta arbete syftar till att studera hans tankar i ljuset av annan forskning. Mind the Brand - When entering a market : En studie om varumärkesutvidgning från tjänst till vara

Subject: This paper is about Brand Extension and if the process differs when a company extends its brand from a service to a product in comparison to an extension from a product to a product. As an example we have analyzed the mobile phone business and the mobile phone operators who launch their private branded mobile phonesPurpose: The purpose of this paper is to analyze how companies use brand extension from service to product as a part of their brand extension strategy.Method: A literature study was done in the brand extension area, but also in the area of brands to have a deeper understanding for the subject. A qualitative study with interviews was combined with a quantitative survey study. On the basis of the theories we could analyze the collected data and fulfill the papers purpose. Results: Important features and differences in services and products were identified and the importance of a strong brand identity before an extension.

Informationskulturen i Attac Göteborg öppen eller sluten?

The aim of this study was to examine if an organisation that strives for democracy and participation, also possess an open information culture. This study deals with the information culture in a social movement organisation, Attac Gothenburg. To achieve the aim, following questions were asked: What is the organisation culture like, is it open or closed? What is the information culture like, is it open or closed? What is the information culture like, in relation to the identity of the organisation? The focus has been put on earlier research in social movements, organisation and information culture. In this qualitative study I have collected material mainly from interviews.

Muslimska tjejer i idrottssverige : en intervjustudie om islam och idrottsutövande

I och med min kontakt med invandrarungdomar i skolan har jag ställt mig frågan om relationen mellan muslimska tjejer och idrottsutövande. Den kontakt som jag har fått inom skolan med muslimska tjejer och idrott är positiv över lag och detta gör att den bild som media ofta visar med stereotypa bilder av islam inte stämmer. De frågeställningar som belyses i denna undersökning är hur muslimska tjejer ser på idrott och idrottsutövande och om idrottsföreningar gör någonting för att integrera dessa tjejer i sin verksamhet.För att besvara frågeställningarna utgår jag ifrån en intervjustudie med fyra muslimska tjejer. Resultatet av denna undersökning visar att tre av de muslimska tjejerna som blir intervjuade är positiva till ett aktivt idrottsutövande. Samtidigt är det en av tjejerna som säger att hon inte får hålla på med idrott på grund av religionen.

Sjuksköterskans bemötande av patienter med muslimsk bakgrund : en litteraturstudie

Till svenska sjukhus, vårdcentraler och äldreboende kommer patienter med en annan kulturell bakgrund. På grund av detta krävs att en sjuksköterska har en bra förståelse, en bred och djup insikt i olika kulturer och levnadssätt för att ge patienten ett gott bemötande. Syftet med studien var att beskriva kunskap om de olika faktorer som kan påverka sjuksköterskans bemötande av patienter med muslimsk bakgrund. En litteraturstudie har genomförts, som baseras på vetenskapliga artiklar och fokuserar på bemötande av patienter med muslimsk bakgrund. Materialet har bearbetats genom innehållsanalys.

"Den är i gråzonen" -Föreställningar kring och arbete med sexualitet i missbruksbehandling för män

The aim of the study is to examine which present conceptions of sexuality there are in treatment of substance abuse for men. The intention is to examine how staff members in these environments perceive clients? sex and sexuality as well as studying if and in that case how they work with sexuality in treatment. A qualitative method formed the methodological approach and semistructured interviews were carried out for the collection of data. Four staff members from two different treatment institutions for substance abuse were interviewed.

Kan företag kontrollera sitt varumärke online? : En kvalitativ studie om villkoren fo?r marknadskommunikation i sociala medier 

Purpose: This study aims to investigate the conditions that prevail when companies put their marketing in social media with the purpose of creating a perception of the risks and opportunities it brings to businesses and ultimately how it may affect the corporate image and identity.Theories: The basis of the problem area are presented through a theoretical framework with the purpose of highlighting the notions of social media, communi- cation, marketing communication, groundswell, corporate identity and image.Methodology: To investigate the research questions this study adopted a qualitative approach in which the authors study the properties of a phenomenon in order to seek a deeper understanding of the problems we have presented. There is an exploratory approach to knowledge and the authors have chosen to conduct qualitative research interviews based upon three themes: driving forces, challenges and impacts.Conclusion: The study revealed that traditional models of communication are no longer applicable in social media. Companies are up for a challenge and must clarify their sole purpose when establishing communication in the social landscape. The general motivation for marketing in social media is making profit, however, building relationships is not a natural motive for most companies. The risks companies expe- rience is the exposure caused by social media and the study also reveals that this fear is firmly attached to their lack of knowledge of these new channels of communicat- ion and their primary areas of use which indicates that skilled employees plays a vi- tal role with their use of social media in their communication process.

Vi döpte om biblioteket till Bibliotek and läranderesurser: Om imageskapande på högskolebibliotek

The aim of this thesis is to examine how four decision makers at a University College and a library director at the same University College perceive the profile, image and identity of their library. This University College library is used as our main example. We have evaluated the main example in relation to two other University College libraries, in order to obtain a deeper understanding of how these library directors view their own libraries and to attain a more multi-dimensional view of the main example of our study. Our intention is to analyse the current situation, not the past nor the future. Qualitative semi-structured interviews with decision makers and library directors have been conducted.

Muslimsk Kultur och Demokrati- Från Samband till Förklaring

Denna uppsats behandlar ämnesområdet islam och demokrati. Studien är kvantitativ och innehåller 154 länder. För att närmare analysera dessa har vi använt oss av en multipel regressionsanalys .Resultatet av denna analys är att vi inte med säkerhet kan bevisa att muslimsk kultur förklarar de muslimska ländernas demokratiska tillkortakommanden. Däremot har variablerna arabisk kultur, råvaruberoende, militärutgifter samt ekonomisk utveckling visat sig vara statistiskt signifikanta för demokrati.Utifrån detta har vi velat spåra de kausala mekanismerna i förhållandet mellan demokrati och arabisk kultur ytterligare, och funnit att framförallt militärutgifter och det civila samhället är tänkbara mellanliggande variabler. Dessa är specifikt arabiska kausala mekanismer som inte gör sig gällande för den muslimska kulturen.

Är cannabis den nya folkölen? : Unga cannabisanvändares tal om cannabis

The aim of this study was to examine young adult cannabis users? attitudes towards cannabis and their perception of the normalization of cannabis. The purpose was also to explore how their views of cannabis correspond with norms regarding cannabis. This study is based on interviews with five young adult cannabis users. The theoretical framework is based on Parker?s normalization thesis, Goffman?s notion of stigma, Becker?s definition of outsiders and the definition of social identity developed by Stone.

Förpackningsdesign i en varumärkesstärkande process : En fallstudie av varumärket Coca-Cola

Nowadays, packaging design is seen as a competitive tool and its importance for corporations is becoming increasingly apparent. The rivalry within homogeneous markets puts high demands on differentiation and the ability to create something more than the product itself. With this fundamental question, the soft drink industry has been examined and a case study of the brand Coca-Cola has been performed. The aim is to investigate how packaging design is used as a tool for strengthening a brand and to explore which additional values this contributes. In addition, the study observes the most important factors in the development of packaging design.A theoretical work of reference, consisting primarily of theories related to branding, design development and visual identity, has been developed to support the study.

"Jag tycker det är en snäll typ av marknadsföring" : - En kritisk diskursanalys om content marketing i podcasts.

The aim of this study was to investigate in what way content marketing can be understood through podcasts as an alternative marketing tool. The material which the study was based on is Ölpodden, a podcast initiated by Carlsberg Sweden. The study intended to shed light on the interdiscursivity that emerges when brands are communicated through podcasts. Another aim was to understand how relationships and identities are constructed through the podcast by examining its intended audience. In order to achieve this a critical discourse analysis was used as both underlining theory and comprehensive method.

The question of the provision of electronic books in Swedish public libraries has lately evolved into a lively debate in Swedish media, where the public library?s identity and itsexpected role as a democratic institution is an underlying topic. The aim of this bachelorthesis is to examine the idea of the public library?s identity as expressed in newspaperand journal articles by writers connected to the library sector. The aim is achieved byexamining the language-use and identifying discourses in the debate.
