Vocal technique and interpretation are the key elements of voice training. Thepurpose of this article is to investigate what vocal technique and interpretation meanto teachers and students and how they would describe the relationship between thetwo. The questions at issue, intended to be answered in this article, are the following:What is the relationship between vocal technique and interpretation? How should theteaching be structured for the students to experience progress on the musical plane?What role does the teacher have in the musical development of the student?This is a qualitative survey and the methods of investigation are semi-structuredinterviews and classroom observations. Presented in the article are a number ofresearchers and writers whose thoughts on the subjects have gained great importanceto vocal teachers and students, as well as leading the research on the voice and itsfunctions forward to higher grounds.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka i vilken omfattning årsredovisningen används som underlag vid kreditbedömning i befintliga respektive nya affärsrelationer utifrån kreditgivares (leverantörers) perspektiv i småföretag.

I den svenska sociala barnvårdens historia har det alltid förts en diskussion om detvå placeringsalternativen institution och familjehem. Placering i familjehemuppmuntras av svenska lagstiftare för att det anses vara det mest naturliga för barnetatt vara i en familj. I den här studien ville vi undersöka hur socialsekreterare i svensksocial barnvård tänker när de behöver fatta ett beslut om placering för ett barn undertolv år vid ett omedelbart omhändertagande enligt Lag (SFS 1990:52) med särskildabestämmelser om vård av unga. Vi använde oss av sju kvalitativa intervjuer medsocialarbetare i Västra Götalandsregionen för att samla in material. Kodningen avempirin inspirerades av Grounded theory och motivanalys.

Jag har märkt att mina elever har vissa kunskaper som de inte lärt sig under traditionella läroformer; i skolan eller någon annanstans. Det kan vara att de har en känsla för hur film eller musik är uppbyggd, vad som är en snygg bildkomposition, för hur språket talas eller skrivs, eller hur man ska bete sig i olika situationer. Utan att vi är medvetna om det verkar vi ha en intuition och magkänsla inför vissa företeelser i vår vardag. Vad är det då för typ av lärande som sker när vi inte tänker att vi lär oss och inte heller alltid vet att vi kan vissa saker? Vad vi har att göra med är alltså någon form av omedveten process; ett slags implicit lärande.

This is a study of Prehistoric musical instruments from Scandinavia and the different meanings they could have had in the Prehistoric society. I have described the different types of possible music instruments and the different categories that they belong to. I have also written about their different functions that could have been for example ritual artefacts, shamanic tools or useful instruments in hunting. Two case studies are also presented in the essay, the Falköpingsflute and the Balkåkradrum..

Skådespelaryrket kräver mycket av en människa både intellektuellt, färdighetsmässigt och fysiskt. Det förväntas också ofta av en skådespelare att vara musikalisk. Musikalitet kan yttra sig på olika sätt. I skådespelarsammanhang vill jag påstå att musikalitet kan finnas i allt från texthantering till hur man rör sin kropp. Jag är rytmikpedagog, men har också arbetat som skådespelare.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka gymnasielärares uppfattningar kring bedömning i dans; vad de ser som möjligheter och svårigheter. Tre kvalitativa intervjuer genomfördes och analyserades genom en fenomenografisk teoriansats.I resultatet framgår att lärarna försöker integrera två olika synsätt; det ena representerar den professionella dansvärlden där fokus ligger på känsla, intuition och produkten (föreställningen). Den andra representerar den skolastiska världen, där konkreta och sakliga betygskriterier tillsammans med processen (utvecklingen) är prioriterat. Lärarna visar alla prov på frustration över betygskriterierna, speciellt då de ska beskriva olika kvaliteter inom dansen. Dessa anses svåröversatta, och de kräver dessutom en gradering, där det klart framgår vad som skiljer olika betyg emellan.

As a vocalist, Casey Moir wants more than to just express what is written on the page or that which the harmony allows. The author is active as a musician in the field of historically informed performance practice (HIP) which emanated from the 20th century early music movement. Studying of historical sources has a central role, but the problem of how interpretation and selection of source material is affected by art and music ideals of our time, is commonly acknowledged. Georg Joseph Vogler shows in a series of articles in "Betrachtungen der Mannheimer Tonschule" (1778-1781) how Stabat Mater by Pergolesi could, and in his opininon, should be improved. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate how this source can be used from the standpoint of a performing musician: How can I use Vogler?s methods in my playing?The introduction problematizes Vogler?s action in relation to his time, and to ours.
