Strategiska beslut kan för många företag vara en problematisk process. En beslutsfattare måste ta hänsyn till flera olika faktorer innan denne fattar sitt beslut. Uppsatsen syfte är att identifiera och analysera hur faktorer såsom: långsiktiga mål, osäkerhet, omgivning, information och produktinnovation påverkar beslutsfattare in de strategiska besluten och dess processer. Den empiriska studien genomfördes med hjälp av en fallstudie på ett nystartat innovativt avknoppningsföretag. Intervjuer och observationer genomfördes med de huvudsakliga beslutsfattarna i företaget.

Många ungdomar har i dagens samhälle hamnat i kriminella banor. Det finns stöd i olika former bland annat institutioner där ungdomarna blir placerade för att med hjälp av utbildad personal kunna åter igen bli accepterade samhällsmedlemmar.Syftet med vår studie är att öka förståelsen av omsocialiseringen på de ungdomar som placeras i behandlingshem på grund av kriminalitet, samt ta reda på ifall behandling på institution har bidragit till att ungdomarna blir accepterade i samhället. Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ forskningsmetod där vi genom semistrukturerade intervjuer med fyra ungdomar har försökt få svar på vilken betydelse behandling på intuition har för kriminella ungdomars återintegrering i samhället. Vi har analyserat vårt material utifrån sociologiska teorier för att öka förståelsen av ungdomskriminalitet.Resultatet tyder på att ungdomars placering på institutionen inte är den ultimata lösningen till återintegrering, men respondenterna har oftast upplevt behandlingshemmen som något positivt då personalen har bidragit till ett nytt sätt att tänka på.  .

Patienter som vårdats på en intensivvårdsavdelning beskriver ofta att de under vistelsen upplevt smärta, vilket kan ge traumatiska minnen lång tid efter. Patienten är i regel ventilatorbehandlad och har en fluktuerande medvetandegrad eller är medvetslösa. Vid medvetslöshet har patienten inte förmåga att uttrycka sig verbalt utan andra sätt att tolka och bedöma smärta ska då användas. Syftet med denna studie var att belysa hur intensivvårdssjuksköterskan evidensbaserat bedömer smärta hos en medvetslös intensivvårdspatient. En deskriptiv kvalitativ studie genomfördes.

This study is an attempt to investigate religious perceptions and its development, function and connection to religious practise within the Swedish extreme metal scene. This is performed mainly by a qualitative method of investigation, studying lyrical content published on a number of extreme metal albums, thereafter relating the lyrical progression to the progession of the scene as a whole and also to the development of individual religious belief and practise.The lyrically expressed manifestations of religiosity within the extreme metal scene prove to be related to religious practise in some cases, most visibly in the Christian parts of the scene.The study also indicates that development of religious expression often is evident regardless of religious preference. This development also regularly relates to an increase in musical evolution and prowess often achieved with increased age and maturity.Musically and lyrically, the extreme metal scene displays transgressive attributes which assist both individual and group in the process of creating identity, meaning and individuality.Experiencing extreme metal, in concert or in the privacy of one´s own home, can be one way of perceiving spirituality in this modern age..

I did my degree project together with Universeum AB. The project had the work title: children?s world and the aim were to give children between 3-8 years old a place that was especially made for them. With their interests and needs in mind the area should trigger play but also learning through a well planned pedagogical environment.I did this project because I thought this was an excellent opportunity to really practise my new gained skills I had learned during my two years in CCD (Child Culture Design). It also gave me the opportunity to actually see how well my knowledge was working when it was put to the test, and I did learn a lot from this.Together with a crew of 6 people I developed and designed the area.

All my short stories have been written in an intuitive way according to which no outline of characters, intrigue or plot was made in advance. A consequence of this process is that not even myself as the author is aware of the meaning of the texts and therefore I too have to interpret the stories. Because of the character of the text, I use an analysis of archetypes according to C. G. Jung?s analytic psychology.

Scientific studies show that good leadership is a key factor for group- and individual development. Studies have also shown that the contrary can curb talented individuals and/or cause stagnation, or even cause groups to halt their progression. This essay studies how leaders in musical and athletic environments look on their own leadership. In interviews, the leaders reflect upon experienced issues related to their profession, their views on difficulties in their leading role, as well as individual, and group development. This study also includes two observations, one in each field of profession.

With examples from a single classroom situation, several educational moments show what goes on between the teacher and the student. The teacher?s responsibility in the learning process is, with a gesture frozen in the air of the moment, to lead and follow the student in her tentative efforts at seeking knowledge. Initially, it is an attempt to shed light upon the "not yet seen" with a certainty that the student herself possesses the capacity and the aptitude to reach greater insight and clarity in her understanding. The Validation/Feil Method presented in this instructional situation illustrates how best to communicate with elderly people suffering from Alzheimer?s dementia.

The thesis had its starting point in the first paragraph of the eleventh chapter in the Swedish social services act, which discusses the immediate risk assessments that has to be made when the social services receive a report about a child. The thesis highlights an area that has received a lot of attention in media since the spring of 2014, when an eight year old girl was fatally abused by her legal guardians. The social services had at the time received a report about the girl but it was left unread. This tragic case has brought attention to the routines used by the social services for dealing with reports and risk assessments. This thesis was conducted through individual interviews with social workers working with children and families in the social services, with the aim to acquire an enhanced understanding of how social workers perform immediate risk assessments and what these assessments are based on.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine a new music downloading service called Musikwebben, which is now available in many Swedish libraries. It focuses on the differences and similarities between this service and illegal music sharing services. The question is raised, whether the appeal of Musikwebben is high enough for it to be able to ?recruit? users from similar, illegal services. To answer this question, a qualitative content analysis is used, to explore various views on what legal downloading services have to offer and how these differ to illegal alternatives.

Title: Music and adult identity: A study of how students at Malmö Academy of Music look upon their identity from a musical point of view. This study is about adults and how they look upon their identity from a music perspective. I have interviewed four students between 26 to 29 years old at the Malmö Academy of Music. The purpose with my study is to examine how music has affected the identity of the students as adults and to see if their identity still is affected by music. The interviews have then been analyzed and compared with existing research in this matter.

Anne Reese: Johan Lindegrens vägval : en studie i de faktorer som påverkade enskilda aktörers verksamhet inom Stockholms musiksamhälle 1860-1908, Uppsala universitet: Institutionen för Musikvetenskap, uppsats för 100 poäng, 2007.The aim of this essay is to show some of the factors which affected the production and work of the individual musician or composer within Stockholm's music society in the late 19th century. By a case study on Johan Lindegren (1842-1908) I demonstrate how a musician or a composer functioned in the social structures of the music society and how power affected the work of the musician or composer. This essay also fills another purpose as it gives Lindegren a more detailed biography, which is something that has been missing until now.By applying a concept of power, as discussed by Michel Foucault, to this subject and interacting it with the concepts of musical opportunism, I present a new way of talking about the social, as well as the individual factors that affects the individual musician within the music society.The conclusion is drawn that there are two different types of factors that affects the work of the individual; 1) the social network and power within society, which presents positions and opportunities for the musician and 2) the individual character of musician which determine the way the individual uses the position or opportunity he or she is given..
