Studiens syfte var att beskriva hur arbetsterapeuterna arbetade för att främja delaktig-het i meningsfulla aktiviteter hos vuxna med ADHD. Åtta semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes med yrkesverksamma arbetsterapeuter i norra Sverige. En kvalitativ innehållsanalys användes vid analys av data som resulterade i fyra kategorier. I resultatet framkom det att arbetsterapeuternas arbete bestod av ett klientcentrerat arbetssätt och att skapa förståelse om klienternas vardag för att främja delaktighet i meningsfulla aktiviteter. Förskrivning av tekniska hjälpmedel och samverkan med aktörer och klien-tens nätverk var en stor del av arbetsterapeuternas arbete.

This study highlights the importance of computer technology and its impact on elder care staff's skills development in the public sector. The government presents the digital agenda within which information and communication technology today is considered to have a potential for sustainability, growth and development. According to the EU Commission, there are several important elements that should be improved to digitize the workplace. Among these are digital literacy, collaboration between agencies and increased investments in research, education and innovation. New technology can be understood in different ways by individuals, some see the computer as something positive and exciting, while others may find it hard to see the opportunities for learning and development.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka den nya rättspraxis som kom år 2010 i 3 § LVU (1990:52) och hur den efterföljs inom Stockholms län. Vidare ska vi även försöka belysa vilken behandling dessa barn och ungdomar bör få och för att kunna besvara detta har vi utgått ifrån tre frågeställningar. Vårt tillvägagångssätt har varit utifrån en rättsdogmatisk metod och en litteraturstudie genom en kvalitativ ansats.  Som hjälp till vår analys och slutsats har vi utgått från den nyinstitutionella organisationsteorin för att förstå och tolka systemet vid implementering av ny rättspraxis.     Vi har utgått ifrån 15 LVU domar från 2013, där ungdomarna har en AST eller en ADHD diagnos. Genom att analysera och tolka dessa domar kan vi besvara vår första frågeställning hur rättspraxisen efterföljs. Resultatet visar på att i två av de 15 fall har rätten tagit hänsyn till rättspraxisen och avslagit ansökan om tvångsvård.

Increasing innovation and entrepreneurship has been identified as a key target for sustained growth and welfare, both in Sweden and abroad. Therefore, many countries have recognized the need to equip students with entrepreneurship education and to integrate skills associated with entrepreneurship into the various curricula.To shed light on entrepreneurship education within business curricula, a case study focusing on the first two years of the Bachelor program at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) was conducted. The study was based on interviews with students, alumni and scholars with a background of entrepreneurship. Insights from respondents were compared with leading research on entrepreneurship education, to evaluate the program's approach.Primary findings from the qualitative analysis showed an overall lack of entrepreneurship education in the early stages of the program. Entrepreneurial "know-how" knowledge was an insufficient component of the SSE program and a barrier for why more students did not pursue a career in entrepreneurship.

As an amateur it can be difficult filming from several angles at the same time as this requires several cameras. It´s also hard to film at occasions when it´s not appropriate to manoeuvre the camera manually. Systems for solving these problems already exist, but it´s either more expensive, professionalsystems or cheaper systems with limited functionality.The purpose of this project is to develop a cost efficient solution to the problem above that offers a better functionality then existing commercial systems. The biggest difference from existing products is the wireless video feedback from the camera to the remote unit.The result of the project is a system consisting of two units, a manoeuvre unit with a cradle for the video camera and a remote unit from which the operator can control pan and tilt of the video camera.Communication between the two units is wireless.On the remote unit there is a joystick and a display mounted. In addition to this, there is also an IR receiver that is capable of reading the signal from the cameras own remote and sending it to the manoeuvre unit.The manoeuvre unit is equipped with one motor to control the tilt function and one motor to control the pan.

This study centres on learning to read and methods for teaching reading skills. The aim is to provide a survey of the concept reading skills and the methods developed on the basis of different theories and the methods preferred when teaching children in primary school and why. The study is based on interviews with eight teachers who are working on a dailybasis teaching Swedish in preschool class or lower primary school. The result of my study is that the majority of teachers do not use a specific method, but rather combine several different methods, thus adapting instruction to each individual pupil. .

Som ett sista arbete på högskoleingenjörsutbildningen i maskinteknik på Umeå universitet så har jag sett över servicevänligheten på ett reservkraftsaggregat. Attacus Power AB har stått som värd för detta arbete och även tillhandahållit arbetsplats under utförandet.Ett reservkraftsaggregat är ofta en dieseldriven motor kopplad till en generator som alstrar ström. Denna ström kan sedan användas för att driva sjukhus eller liknande vid ett eventuellt strömavbrott.Modellen som skulle ses över heter GTC-200MSS och den är en extra tyst modell avsedd för platser som filminspelningar och liknande där ljudnivån är en viktig faktor.Det jag skulle utföra var att försöka hitta en lösning där motor och generator, med så litet ingrepp som möjligt, kunde tas ut för underhåll.Arbetet började med att olika lösningsförslag togs fram. Allt från att vicka av hela höljet, till en ny utformning av modellen. Efter att alla förslag presenterats och gåtts igenom med inblandade på företaget, så beslutades att en lösning där en truck eller liknande med hjälp av sina gafflar kunna lyfta ut motor och generator var den bästa lösningen.För att göra det enkelt för de som skulle utföra ingreppet så gjordes en enkel manual.En modell togs fram där truckens gafflar legat till grund för utförandet samt dess belastningsfall.

In a society where adults set the conditions for children?s play and generate modern and at times technically advanced products, fundamental characteristics like simplicity, opportunities for motor skills training and learning tend to be neglected. Owing to this, the Linköping-based company Time In wants to introduce a new multifunctional product, which differs from other products in shape and function and lives up to the often overlooked, basic characteristics in a toy.With Time In as the assigner, the purpose of this master thesis has been to use simple means to produce a "learning by playing" concept. Since Time In sells toys and products suitable for children in nurseries and preschools, the development of the products has therefore included a study of nursery and preschool environments.The thesis has been carried out within the Product Design subject area at the Department of Management and Engineering at Linköping University. Concept development has been done in three phases: the Preparation phase, the Design phase and the Presentation phase.

Den genomförda studien styftade till att synliggöra upplevelser av specifika läs- och skrivsvårigheter i ämnet matematik i grundskolans senare år, utifrån ett elevperspektiv. Eleverna hade genom sin skolgång samlat på sig enorma erfarenheter kring matematiken och studien ville försöka få en inblick i deras verklighet. Undersökningen baseras på intervjuer med tre pojkar, en i år åtta och två i år nio, kring deras upplevelser. Studiens resultat, informanternas upplevelser, stämmer väl överrens med litteraturstudierna inom ämnet. Informanterna återger liknande bilder av lektionerna, först genomgång vid tavlan sedan enskild färdighetsträning i böckerna.

In Sweden, harvesting pre-commercial thinning (PCT) stems for energy purposes is a interesting way of financing the high cost of preparing dense stands for a profitable first conventional thinning. This concept can be labelled bioenergy thinning. The aim of this study was to quantify the productivity of a Vimek 404R light harvester with an accumulating Naarva-Grip cutting head during the bioenergy thinning of a self-regenerated stand west of Sunnansjö in Dalarna. The stand was birch-dominated, contained 15 371 stems/ha, and measured on average 4,6 cm Dbh and 7 m tall. Even though the driver was well experienced with the machine, the stand in question was the first one that he ever thinned in this manner. Nevertheless, the driver strived to accumulate as many stems as possible during each crane cycle and chose to cut taller stems in half so as to make the handling and forwarding of the harvested stems easier.

The purpose of this thesis was to examine if users of digital music games may acquire skills from the games that may be of use in learning to play a real instrument, that is a non-digitally simulated instrument like an acoustic piano. We have used Gee?s theory regarding a possible interconnection between different semiotic domains, and how this connection may enable a transfer of skills between related domains. In this thesis we examine possible skill transfer between the domains ?digital games? and ?non-digital instruments?. To examine our question formulation we chose to conduct a pilot study from which we collected both quantitative and qualitative data.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how twelve middle school teachers use educational tools and what influences their choice of educational tools in Swedish language writing instruction. To answer this purpose, three research questions were formulated: What does writing instruction look like for middle school students according to the teachers in the study? What influences teachers' choice and use of educational tools in writing instruction? What opportunities and challenges do teachers experience in Swedish language writing instruction when using different educational tools? Twelve teachers from variously sized municipalities and with different experiences participated in the study through purposive sampling and convenience sampling. The chosen method is qualitative semi-structured teacher interviews. To analyse the results, this study employs analytical tools from the sociocultural perspective, using concepts such as mediation, appropriation, the zone of proximal development, and scaffolding. The results show that both analogue and digital tools are used in the teachers' writing instruction. The choice of tools should be based on pedagogical considerations, with an emphasis on social interaction and collaboration during the learning process.

During the recent years the interest in entrepreneurial education has increased both in terms of research being made in the subject, but also in the extent of entrepreneurial courses in Swedish secondary schools, where as the concept Junior Achievement (JA) is particularly being used. A common goal of the entrepreneurial education is apart from teaching the students how to start and run a business, to develop the students? entrepreneurial skills and competences. The main purpose of the essay is to describe and illustrate the role of the teacher in the entrepreneurial pedagogy being used in courses with the JA concept and to investigate which entrepreneurial skills are being developed by the students participating in these courses. There is also the purpose of investigate what the characteristics are of this entrepreneurial pedagogy being used in the courses using the JA concept.

Det här examensarbetet går ut på att utreda vilken påverkan oljeval och inkörningsmetod har på tätning mellan kolvring och cylindervägg i en fyrtaktsmotor. Arbetet har utförts på en motorcykel av märket Honda och modellen heter CBR 954 RR årsmodell 2003. Det diskuteras dagligen i tidningar, på internet och i garage runt om i världen om vilken typ av inkörning som är effektivast för att få en motor att gå bra och hålla länge. Vissa bil- och mctillverkare har helt tagit bort sina inkörningsrekommendationer medan andra fortfarande har kvar rekommendationen att man ska köra lugnt och på låga varvtal under ett visst antal mil. Eftersom att inkörningen påverkar väldigt många parametrar så finns inte möjlighet att testa hur olika oljeval och inkörningsmetoder påverkar alla dessa parametrar.
