Kännedom om och inställning till SAPERE-metoden : En undersökning bland personal på förskolor, låg- och mellanstadieskolor
To complete an overweight treatment program is associated with better weight loss. Previous studies have in principle focused on drop-out from the entire program, not individual parts of a program. Factors previously shown to influence the patients´ weight loss results are: frequency of individual meetings with a professional, the lack of social support from family or friends, the lack of motivation and in a few studies vacations. In several studies the drop-out patients have stated that their reasons for drop-out were dissatisfaction with the staff and the program design. Drop-out has also been shown to be connected with difficulties in adherence to the diet.
Kulturella värden, tro, levnadssätt och livsstil : faktorer som påverkar sjuksköterskans möte med muslimska patienter
There are over 1,5 billion Muslims living on earth and the religion is one of the world´s most increasing. Sweden is a country with a cultural diversity where about 300 000 Muslims lived in 1999. Today, the requirement for knowledge about caring for Muslims and the need of culturally competent nursing care are increasing.The aim of this study was to define cultural factors which the nurse has to recognize to be able to give culturally competent care to the Muslim patient. The method that has been used was a The Sunrise Model, which illustrates Leininger´s theory of culture care diversity and universality, provides a theoretical framework for the study. The results are presented on the basis of Leininger´s three cultural factors; cultural values, beliefs and lifeways.
Utomhuslektioners påverkan på motivationen för geografi
Syftet med vårt arbete var att undersöka hur elevernas motivation för geografi påverkades genom att ha lektioner utomhus. Undersökningen genomfördes i en klass 4 och i en klass 6 i Kiruna kommun. Under den sju veckor långa praktiken genomfördes lektioner i geografi utomhus. Under lektionerna observerade vi åtta elever för att utifrån deras beteende utläsa om de var motiverade för uppgifterna. I slutet av praktikperioden genomfördes två intervjuer i vardera klass som följdes upp med kompletterande intervjuer strax efter praktikperiodens slut.

BACKGROUND: Exercise on Prescription (EoP) means that a doctor writes out a customized form of exercise to the patient instead of medicine, or in combination with medication. The activity becomes a part of the treatment. Since many today do not follow recommendations for physical activity occurs in the long term a number of public health diseases. EoP promotes health and prevents disease. AIM: The aim of this paper is toexamine whether EoP from a patient perspective perceived to be an efficient and effective method of treatment.
Motivation som verktyg för att minimera negativ stress i projekt
Syfte: Att identifiera metoder för projektledare att använda motivation för att minimera negativ stress. Metod: Kvalitativa djupintervjuer Slutsatser: Vi har definierat tre metoder som bidrar till att en internaliseringskedja påbörjas. Internalisering ökar den inre motivationen både hos projektledare och hos projektdeltagare och kan bidra till att minska negativ stress. Den första metoden handlar om att utveckla en modell gällande vilken information projektledare behöver från beställare när projekt beställs. Den andra metoden handlar också om behovet av ökad beställarkompetens, och innebär att utbilda beställarna.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka vilka motivationsfaktorer som ligger bakom viljan att fortsätta musicera år efter år. Fokus ligger vid blåsorkestern och blåsinstrumentalister, de äldre instrumentalisterna i orkestern. Studien är avgränsad till att vara en positiv undersökning av motivation i samband med musicerande, främst musicerande i grupp. Uppsatsen handlar om olika motivationsfaktorer som verkar motiverande för att hålla intresset för att musicera vid liv, detta har undersökts genom kvalitativa intervjuer. Efter arbetet med studien har tre olika motivationsfaktorer växt fram, social motivation, motivation genom personlig utveckling samt musikalisk motivation. Motivationsfaktorerna bygger på faktorer som ungdomar pratar om enligt Minda Birgestam och Rebecka Källner (2011), det sociala, personlig utveckling och den musikaliska upplevelsen.

The valuation is a matter ofdefinition that varies according to its interpreter. Previous research conductedin other countries, has identified a number of value-influencing factors. Thesefactors are the basis for this study.The study's purpose is to highlight the value-influencing factors thatcustomers value and are looking for in the choice of single-family lots. Thestudy also seeks to determine if there is an unknown difference between howprofessionals and clients value single-family lots.The study showed that the value factors considered important for customersand also professionals are consistent and applicable with the factors reportedfrom previous research.
Matematik och ingenjören : Utveckling av en aktivitet för att öka elevers motivation för matematik
This thesis primarily includes a study on whether companies can develop a mathematical activity that supports students' motivation in mathematics. The work was done together with Midroc Electro, a company that pays attention to the difficulty of recruiting and therefore was interested in investigating how the business world would be able to contribute.The thesis can be divided into three stages. The first part comprised by a exploration into research on student motivation regarding mathematics as well as numerous interviews with engineers to see how the research findings did fit with Midroc Electros reality. In these studies it became clear that the student who aims for a profession whose education or work requires math belongs to the group of students who primarily manage their studies in mathematics, that is, those that have the greatest motivation to work hard and complete their studies.Research information and interviews were compared and resulted in the thesis second part, Midroc Challenge. An activity where students primarily came to learn about the engineering profession and secondly how mathematics can be used in the engineering profession.

The Swedish sports retail industry has experienced extensive growth during the last decade, and this has attracted new entrants to the market, both start-ups and international followers. This has inevitably put more pressure on incumbents, which are now confronted with major challenges as how to retain their customers and market shares. Customer loyalty has been proved to be an important factor for customer retention and proposed to constitute inertia of switching behavior. In light of this problematization, the purpose of this study is to describe the underlying factors of loyalty and whether purchase habits could further explain customer loyalty. The aim is also to understand the strategic implications of the factors involved.

Background: Traditionally defined boundaries and borders between organizations are at present being re-evaluated because of new and tougher demands. Today we can see a trend where these boundaries are being lowered or even eliminated when organizations choose to co-operate instead of compete. Purpose: In order to create an understanding for the partner selection process in the newly founded joint ventures between the companies which are building the Swedish 3G Network, the determining factors are being studied. Delimitation: The studies companies are co-operating as network operators but are at the same time competing as mobile operators. This relationship is in the literature described as co-opetition, which will not be investigated in this paper.

Investors have been shown to be driven by emotional and psychological factors. This contradicts classical financial theories, for example the Efficient Market hypothesis which states that all investors act rationally. Behavioural Finance is an area of study which describes various psychological factors which may result in irrational investor behaviour.The primary question of the study is: which factors do operating people in the financial sector consider themselves to be influenced by? The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors which affect the process of creating forecasts or making financial decisions. The study examines in addition if there is a correlation between length of investor experience and overconfidence in forecasting accuracy and investment decision making.The study includes both quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Provisionslön är en form av monetär belöning som är vanligt förekommande för folk som jobbar som säljare. Provisionslönen kan ha ett syfte ur motivationssynpunkt och kan påverka säljarens beteende och inställning till arbetet på olika sätt. Utifrån tidigare forskning går det inte att fastställa hur provisionslön påverkar en säljares motivation, då olika studier visar på olika resultat. Det gör att den här studien vill försöka ta reda på hur provisionslön påverkar en säljares motivation vilket också är syftet med studien. I den teoretiska referensramen tar vi kort upp vilka olika belöningsformer som finns för att sedan diskutera provisionslönens för- och nackdelar.
Värdehöjande faktorer i bostadsrätter : en kvantitativ studie baserad på konsumenters faktiska preferenser
The knowledge of value-enhancing factors in condominiums is very important for real estate agents when valuing condominiums, but it is also of interest to the owner for an upcoming renovation and sale. Previous research has sorted out the most fundamental factors affecting value of condominiums such as location size, age and condition.The purpose of this paper is by consumer?s actual preferences regarding various attributes identify the most value-adding factors in condominiums. Thereby we want to add and nuance previous research.This has been done through a quantitative method in which possible buyers have ranked how various attributes affect their willingness to pay. The results were analyzed and the median of the various attributes have been recognized.The result shows in accordance with previous research that the location is the primary value-adding factor.
