Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka vilka huvudräkningskunskaper några elever i år 3 har. Vi har gjort en empirisk undersökning bestående av kvalitativa intervjuer och löpande observationer av 11 elever i skolår 3 och deras lärare. Vi ville kartlägga deras tankemetoder och strategier vid sju olika huvudräkningsuppgifter. Resultaten visade en stor spridning på eleverna. Några valde olika strategier beroende på uppgifterna, andra valde alltid samma metod och en tredje kategori hade svårigheter med att räkna uppgifterna utan hjälpmedel.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine whether Swedish, Internet-based travel agencies, acting on a consumer market are working towards creating added value for their customers. If that is the case, how and why do they use such a mode of operation.The theoretical framework was based on Grönroos´ ?Augmented service offering?, which treats added value as an addition to the core service. The services offered on five of the larger companies´ websites on the market were examined and 3 representatives of the five companies were interviewed.The study shows that 2 of the examined companies did not produce any added value, while 3 of the companies did produce added value for the customer. The added value was generated through packaging of core-, facilitating- and supporting services for the purpose of differentiating the company towards competitors and generating service fees..

To regularly remove woody vegetation along the roadside of forest roads is an important part of the road maintenance, since the vegetation binds moisture in the road side and, thus, the removal makes the road drying faster with results in improved bearing capacity. Vegetation removal also makes it easier to upgrade the road by material recycling from the ditch and, moreover, the visibility along the road is maintained.The aim of the study was to evaluate what type of chain flail is the best and most cost-effective for removal of different kind of woody vegetation along forest roadsides.Time studies were made on two chain flails when removing woody vegetation in three different classes; easy-, middle- and heavy shrub removal. The studied flails were one light and rather simple flail named Optimal M160 and a heavier and more advanced flail named Slagkraft H210. The removal was made according to Holmen Skogs? specification and the quality of the cleaning was measured by objective belt inventory.The productivity was higher with the heavy flail within all cleaning classes.

Arkitektfirman Kolman X Boye Architects har fått uppdraget att upprätta bygglovshandlingar för ett äldreboende. Det är ännu ej bestämt i detalj hur byggnaden skall uppföras men beställaren önskar att byggnaden uppförs i träbyggnadsteknik. Äldreboendet projekteras för 54 stycken lägenheter fördelat på sex stycken våningsplan och en total bruttoarea på strax under 6000m2. Ingen lika hög träbyggnad med denna verksamhetsklass avseende brand har tidigare uppförts i Sverige.Vår uppgift och utmaning i detta arbete har varit att reda ut problematiken kring projekteringen av exteriöra detaljer för höga hus i trä. Utifrån kända problem avseende brand, akustik och fukt har sedan ett antal detaljer som påverkar det estetiska uttrycket projekterats.

The cooperation between university and industry life in the region of Gävle is always a topic of importance. University and High schools have various roles to fulfill: except administrating the training and supporting research they should also - as a third role - contribute to cooperation between organizations, business companies and other associations. In addition to that, they should support individuals by local as well as regional development. The purpose of our paper is to make a critical review of the cooperation between the University of Gävle (HiG) and industry life until today and the consequences in order to encourage students to stay in the Gävle region during and after their period of studies.Initial we started with a preliminary inquiry with a questionnaire as a base for students in three programs at the Department of Economy; the program for Bachelor of Science, the program for estate agent and another economy program with direction estate economy. From this preliminary inquiry we got the picture of the way the students looked at the problem.

The purpose of this study is to examine secondary teachers' perceptions of conflict, conflict management, conflict prevention and conflict communication. In addition to theory, I conducted individual interviews and focus group discussions. Most teachers have a common view and argues that a conflict occurs when two or more individuals do not agree on something. Typical conflicts are about grades, teachers' changing professional roles and cellphones in the classroom. Att kunna använda sig av olika strategier för att kunna räkna och veta när man bör använda sig av dem är något som betonas i Lgr11. Denna studie undersöker huruvida ett urval av elever i år 6 kan variera sina räknestrategier för huvudräkning i uppgifter med addition och subtraktion och vilka de vanligaste felen som eleverna gör är. Vidare undersöks om eleverna använder sig av skilda strategier på samma uppgift, beroende på om den är satt i en text i ett vardagligt sammanhang eller enbart består av nakna tal. Som ett led i denna studie gjordes kvalitativa intervjuer med eleverna. Resultaten av studien visar att eleverna till stor del varierar sina strategier och att de generellt sett byter strategi från den nakna uppgiften till den i textform..

Syftet med arbetet är att undersöka vilka matematiska möjligheter legoaktiviteter ger och vilka matematiska kunskaper elever kan utveckla genom att bygga med lego.Vilket legomaterial finns och hur använder pedagoger lego som pedagogiskt verktyg i förskoleklass? Elever och pedagoger har intervjuats och observationer har gjorts i tre förskoleklasser.Resultatet av arbetet visar att elever får möta matematik på många olika sätt genom att bygga med lego. De får möjlighet att lära sig lägesord, mängd, geometri, addition, multiplikation och att konkret se att multiplikation är kommutativ. Elever får även möjlighet att samarbeta, lösa problem, vara kreativa, skapa bilder av tal, träna minnet och att koncentrera sig..

The intention is to focus on the implementation of the tablet in preschools and how the intentions around the introduction of the tablet take shape in different preschools. The method is semi structured interviews where the respondents consist of 3 preschool directors and 6 teachers where the preschool directors work. This is a relevant subject to illustrate, as the tablet has become a tool in preschool where it seems to be different opinions about how it should be used. This study aims to understand how the implementation can take form in different preschools, what kind of similarities and differences we can see with the intentions of the tablet and if there is need of clarification on the workings of the tablets in preschools. The results show that the intentions around the introduction of the tablet in preschool look different in the preschools, and the implementation of this new technology starts in a small scale with help of photographing and videotaping.

Syftet med den här studien har varit att beskriva hur lärarens presentation av division i undervisningen för årskurs 3 påverkar elevernas val av strategier när de räknar division. Undersökningen genomfördes genom kvalitativa intervjuer med en lärare samt åtta elever. Vid intervjuerna fick eleverna räkna några tal och samtidigt förklara hur de tänker. Resultatet visar att eleverna till stor del använder sig av de strategier som läraren har presenterat i undervisningen. Dock var strategierna inte alltid effektiva.
