The civilization has taken a step from the industry society to a service oriented culturewhere the physical differences between different products have decreased in value for the customers. The differentiation is more about senses, esthetical symbols and design. Modern economy is more and more focused on consuming and produce dreams and lifestyles. Maybe are we ready to face a new era; the society of experiences?Can the trend that is striving towards experiences really be adapted to all markets? This question started our quest to see how the real-estate market would be able to be adapted to this new economy.

This empirical work and base has been to analyze the new high school reform that the Swedish government introduced as a statement 2008/09:199 about: Higher demand and quality within the high school. This statement became legal through the government vote in spring 2010. But above all it is the investigation (SOU 2008:27) that is the central piece for these new examination changes for high school students that will come into effect 1 of July 2011. The purpose and questions asked in this analyze has been if the reform takes its base in a modernistic (traditional) way or a late modern scientific perspective. And also to find out how these new quality amendments in the investigation makes visible about the high school and what the purpose are about the changes. When scientific theories in these analyze is placed against the reform, the result shows that the modernization process reflects more of a late modern aspect, which constantly reappraise in a changeable society.

Inställningen till naturvetenskapliga beskrivningar av elektronen hos gymnasieelever i årskurs tre på naturvetenskapligt program har undersökts genom kvalitativa intervjuer. Elevernas inställningar motsvarar en vetenskapsteori som diskuteras i ljuset av andra vetenskapsteorier. Enligt undersökningen kan många elevers vetenskapsteori tillskrivas samhällets vetenskapsteori, som karaktäriseras av en pragmatisk och tillämpningsorienterad syn på naturvetenskaplig kunskap, samt av skepsis inför naturvetenskapliga beskrivningar som inte följer ett ?vardagligt? förnuft, vilket troligen gäller allmänt för modern fysik. En sådan vetenskapsteori leder till vissa problem för eleverna när de skall lära undervisningsstoffet i fysik.

Projektet har syftat till att formge en ny och modern handtagsserie för Orthex Group med anledning av att dagens handtagsserie har blivit utdaterad.Inom Orthex Group ingår varumärket Gastromax och det är även där handtaget ska ingå. Som handtagsserie i Gastromax riktar den sig till dessa användare. This essay deals with how the development of society, the media society in particular, has an impact on the teaching of the subject of art. In the society of today, we are bombarded with more images than ever before. As an effect of this, the curriculum of 2011 emphasises the importance of the ability to orientate oneself in the modern society. Furthermore, it describes art not only as a practical subject, but also as a verbal and community-orientated subject. Because of sparse and dated research, the subject of art is in danger of marginalization as a school subject. The purpose of this study is to illustrate art teachers? conception of the aim of the subject of art.

Conclusions: A myriad of interpretations are possible when studying and discussing a particular organizational culture. As culture can not be removed from its context, we illuminate the effects that the internationalization process has with regards to unifying the organizational culture in our particular setting studied. Maintaining however, that a reflexive look at this culture shows no single interpretation as being sufficient, we try to expose its richness and ambiguities through a three perspective approach..

Syftet med denna uppsats är att studera litteraturläsningens utrymme och status i nuvarande kursplaner i svenska och i förslget på nya kursplaner i svenska i GY11, hur detta tolkas av gymnasielärare i svenska samt hur den moderna forskningen återspeglas i de olika kursplanerna. I studien används teorier kring hur skönlitteratur kan fungera som kunskapskälla och tidigare forskning om litteraturläsning och svenskämnets kursplaner. För att uppnå syftet genomfördes en komparativ textanalys av nuvarande kursplaner i svenska och förslaget på nya kursplaner i svenska och kvalitativa intervjuer med fyra gymnasielärare i svenska. Undersökningsresultatet jämfördes sedan med vad som framkommit inom modern litteraturteori. Resultatet av textanalys och intervjuer visar att GY11:s kursplaner i svenska är formulerade på ett tydligare sätt och att kraven är skärpta för vilka kunskaper som ska uppnås med litteraturläsning.

Visitor Centers were first established at various national parks in North America. Most Visitor Centers were built in the ten-year period following 1952. The purpose of the Visitor Centers was to welcome visitors and enhance their experience of the national parks. Today there are Visitor Centers all around the world, connected to different places or attractions. Many of the Visitor Centers that exist today, especially those in the national parks in North America, were built during the information society.

A study was conducted to investigate the new and frequently discussed concept curling parents. There were no previous studies of curling parenting, and therefore traditional classifications of parenting (Baumrind, 1967, 1980; Maccoby & Martin, 1983) have been used for comparison. Parents (N=140) born between 1959 and 1981 participated. They completed questionnaires to establish their level of curling behaviour. The high Cronbach's alfa confirmed coherence in the curlingcriteria, which implied that curling parents exists as a group.The results confirmed our hypothesis that participants exhibiting high levels of curling behaviour were permissive in their parenting style, had a bad conscience concerning their parenting and wished for more time with their children.

The aim of this study is to analyze the discourses of activists who work against female genital mutilation/cutting (FGM/C) in Tanzania. The study focus on the discourses that arise during interviews about FGM/C with five activists. To examine this we asked the following questions: What discourses are presented in the interviews? How do these discourses interact together ? are there any discourse conflicts? How do the activists talk about FGM/C in comparison to our western view? The study is based on discourse theory. We also use feminism and postcolonialism as theories in our analyze.
