Focus of this study is an examination of the Swedish school today, its transformation and complexity when also the community outside of school undergoes changes in shape of among other things a different population composition and new political ideas. More specific the aim of the study is to understand how Gustav Adolfsskolan in Landskrona, a compulsory school in south of Sweden, legitimates the language rule that is in effect in the school. It?s a relatively new measure undertaken in the school and both the problems in the school and this measure have been widely discussed in the public media. The theoretical sources of inspiration have come from Weber, Galbraith and Elias and include power relations and dynamics within social Mobility when people establishes in new places.

Ingenjörtrupperna har nyligen tillförts två nya typer av fältarbetsfordon. Då ett avingenjörförbandens största uppgifter är att understödja med ökad rörlighet för förband, anserförfattaren det vara relevant att studera hur dessa fordon kan understödja med detta.Enligt den struktur som ingenjörbataljonen skall vara organiserad 2014 skall dessa nya fordonutgöra huvudstommen i maskinplutonerna på de bandgående och hjulgåendeingenjörkompanierna, vilket kan föranleda vissa begränsningar och/eller fördelar då demaskinplutonerna tidigare har utgjorts av mer specialiserade arbetsmaskiner såsom hjullastare,grävmaskin och grävlastare. Detta kan innebära att de bandgående och hjulgåendeingenjörkompanierna blir till viss del mer lämpade att genomföra olika sorters arbetsuppgifterför att öka rörligheten för förband. Slutsatser ifrån undersökningen påvisar bland annat attIngbv 120 är mer lämpad att genomföra fältarbeten för rörlighet i bebyggelse än vad HMEEär, och att båda fordonen kan genomföra i stort sett lika många olika sorters fältarbeten förrörlighet, med undantag för minbrytning vilket bara Ingbv 120 kan genomföra..

Orsaken till att jag har valt just detta anfall som Rommel genomförde i det tolfte slaget är att det är fascinerande och banbrytande hur löjtnanten Rommel med sin lilla enhet utmanövrerar stora delar ur den italienska armén.  Metoderna jag har valt är deskription och fallstudie då jag anser att just dessa två lämpar sig väl då en mindre del ur något stort ska återberättas. Det jag vill ta reda på är om Rommel användes sig av det vi idag kallar för manöverkrigföring eller om det är något nytt vi har skapat för att ha ett namn. För att få kunskap om slaget och fördjupad kunskap kring de olika teorierna har jag läst in mig på de olika doktrinerna som svenska försvarsmakten har och även litterära verk kring Rommels deltagande i slaget. Slutligen har jag analyserat de olika fakta och dragit slutsatser kring Rommel och huruvida Rommel använde sig av dem eller inte. Det jag har kommit fram till är att Rommel användes sig av manöverkrigsföring under slaget vid Kobarid..

The agricultural sector is currently highly dependent on fossil fuels, with diesel beingmost prominent. There are however both historical and modern alternatives thathave not been subject to enough evaluation to disregard them as suitable alternative.This report aims to theoretically investigate the feasibility of converting aconventional diesel driven tractor to run on electricity, delivered via a cableconnected to either the main power grid or on-site electric production, such asphotovoltaic. Delivering electricity to the machine via a cable is a method withhistorical roots in the early 20th century and in the present day mining industry.The economic and technological potential of the technique are evaluated, along withthe examination of several different motor powers, voltages, losses and constructionideas. The report finds the technique to be both possible as well as long termeconomically and environmentally beneficial. To realise this method however, somedeviations from the present methods of agricultural farming must be made,considering the more advanced driving patterns, the limited Mobility and therequirement for extra driver awareness.

The reason for this study is to settle the balance between technology and preponderance in war. Each theory claims its own superiority to be decisive when it comes to achieving military victories, but this study will show what actually happens when the two theories are analyzed together in the same conflict. To prove the conclusions, a case-study on Operation Gazelle is used. The study will describe the theories, what a military victory is and which party in the conflict came out victorious after this specific operation. Both sides? forces will be shown and compared.

The purpose of this investigation is to find out how the children?s exercises affect their learning capabilities. With exercise, I mean all kinds of movements, like physics, walks and games.The method I will use in this investigation is interviews, where I choose to interview both teachers and their pupils at a school which uses an exercise-program called röris. Röris is an exercise program which involves moving to music. I also choose to look at Bunkefloprojektet, were scientists has investigated how the power of concentration is affected by exercise.My conclusion from the interviews and the literature is that I can?t prove that the children?s exercises affect their learning capabilities.

Since the late 50th century, the automobile has been normative in the Swedish society (Lundin 2008). This has led to an urban environment deeply characterized by the motor vehicle and its necessities, while other means of transportation, such as train and bicycle, have been ignored and put aside. However, over the past decades, a new trend has been seen in urban planning as a consequence of the increasing knowledge of the negative qualities caused by the car. As a result, the bicycle is seen as a conceivable transport mode.This thesis examines cycling on four issues:- Why is there a need of more cyclists? - How can the total number of cyclists as well as the number of satisfied cyclists increase? - Which factors affect the choice of transport mode? - Which factors affect the choice of route?The first two questions are discussed from a literature study that was conducted at the beginning of the thesis.

In today's changing environment, an increasing number of companies are realizing thebenefits of analyzing business information and thereby stay competitive. By making use ofdecision support systems, known as Business Intelligence (BI), organizations are expected tocollect and process business data and thus get more out of their business.Nowadays it is not enough for organizations to have access to corporate data inside officewalls, they must also be able to bring the information "on the go", which has been thefoundation for the progress of mobile BI solutions. As the Mobility increases and thecorporate data leaves the office, new risks arise, which is one reason as to why manycompanies hesitate at the idea of introducing mobile BI solutions.In this paper we explore two security aspects in the area of mobile BI solutions. Our researchquestion is as follows: How does security aspects affect a company's decision to acquiremobile BI solutions? The survey was conducted through interviews in cooperation with thefirm Optivasys, exclusively dedicated to the BI solution QlikView.A significant part of the theory we studied describes security as critical; however, ourresearch suggests a solution on how companies can manage the security aspects.

Hjuviksvägen är i dagsläget inte anpassad efter dagens trafiksituation, eftersom vägen går genom Hjuvik som är ett tättbebyggt villaområde. Detta genererar mycket och tung trafik då vägen är Öckerö kommuns och Hjuviks enda förbindelse med Göteborg. Kapacitetsbristen på Hjuviksvägen bottnar i en gammal bebyggelsestruktur i området tillsammans med en ökad bilanvändning och en expanderad befolkning. Vägens situation har en ojämn riktningsfördelning med långa köer under rusningstrafik, som på morgonen går in mot Göteborg och på eftermiddagen går åt motsatt håll ut mot färjan till Öckerö kommun. För att uppnå Västsvenska paketets mål om en långsiktig hållbar transportförsörjning på västra Hisingen krävs en ökning i kollektivtrafikens attraktivitet och en fri framkomlighet för bussarna som trafikerar Öckeröleden.Syftet med uppsatsen är att göra en holistisk belysning av förutsättningarna för att etablera ett busskörfält inom delprojektet på Hjuviksvägen.

Denna uppsats har skrivits som en del av de studier i krigsvetenskap jag erhållit under min tid vid yrkesofficersprogrammet.Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva sambandet mellan de grundläggande förmågorna ledning och rörlighet samt begreppet högt stridstempo vid förband av lättare karaktär.Den metod som använts i uppsatsen är en fallstudie som bygger på en kvalitativ textanalys. Genom en granskning av två valda operationer genomförs en analys efter varje skede. Den teknik som använts för insamling är litteratursökning. En frågeställning har behandlats: Hur såg sambandet ut mellan högt stridstempo och de grundläggande förmågorna ledning och rörlighet vid Operation Market Garden samt Operation Merkurius?Utifrån mina gjorda fallstudier visar resultatet på att i manöverkrigföring är begreppet högt stridstempo av stor vikt för att lyckas med striden.

Syftet med studien var att explorativt undersöka vilken betydelse hästen har för brittiska soldater och veteraner som varit ute i krig och återvänt med någon form av ohälsa. Studiens frågeställningar var: Hur används hästen på Horseback UK  som en del i tillfrisknandet för brittiska soldater och veteraner som varit ute i krig? Hur beskriver brittiska soldater och veteraner som varit ute i krig hästens betydelse för livskvalitén? För att besvara frågeställningarna tillämpades en metod som bestod av kvalitativa intervjuer. Intervjuerna utfördes på Horseback UK i Skottland som är en välgörenhetsorganisation, skapad för att ge en trygg och säker miljö. De arbetar med hjälp av hästar för att hjälpa de som tjänstgör eller tjänstgjort i den brittiska armén och kommit tillbaka med någon form fysisk eller psykisk ohälsa.

This essay is a time-geographic study of workinglife mobilities and investigates two days of work for five respondents. One from home and the other from the persons workingplace. Qualitative and quantitative methods has been applied to illustrate and analyze the two days along with time-geographic constraints. The findings are concluded into themes which represent the two local pockets of order: Home and Workplace. Themes of home are: Comfort station, Household, Curtained-off, Tele-contact and Environment.

Osteological analysis was carried out on skeletons from nine graves from a medieval cemetery in Ny Varberg, Varberg, Halland. The graves originate from a monastery and a church, dating back to the fourteenth and fifteenth century. The main aim with this thesis has been to study health through the presence of pathologies and skeletal changes. Further aim was to compare the results from the present study with theresults from Torsten Sandbergs analysis of the same material from 1964. This comparison later showed coincidence.

This study concerns paratransit service in a relatively small municipality in Sweden. The aim of this study is to describe the user's experience of paratransit service. The question formulation is mainly built around the user's experience of paratransit service and their view on what impact paratransit service has on their lives. The empirical data consists of ten interviews with ten different paratransit service users with ages ranging from 25-95 years. The data has mainly been analyzed through concepts of independence, empowerment and trust. The result of this study shows that paratransit service in many ways can be described as a crucial part of the users' lives.

In this paper we have theoretically built a house designed for people with impaired Mobility. Theessay begins with an introduction in which the purpose of the work, the methodology and thedepth-research part is presented. Then the layout that explains how we intend to adapt the housefor the demands detailed in the depth-research part is presented. In the same chapter variousstructural components, such as different floors and walls, are specified.In the selection of materials we have taken into account the criteria of our specialization andadaptation to the aesthetic aspects, where we evaluate materials based upon our wishes regardingtechnique and form. There are also other aspects that are important in the selection of materials,including that these are adapted to technical traits of the construction elements and installations.In a later chapter the technical installations such as ventilation systems, heating systems,electricity and sanitation are presented, where both technical and financial aspects are describedin detail.
