Gångproblematiken hos personer med Parkinsons sjukdom är svårhanterad av både vårdtagare och vårdare och kräver mycket kunskap och förståelse. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att identifiera omvårdnadsåtgärder som kan underlätta gångproblematik hos personer med Parkinsons sjukdom. Tio kvantitativa studier har används i denna litteraturstudie och sökningar har gjorts i Pubmed och i CINAHL. Resultatet från dessa sökningar presenterades i fyra strategier och fynden var rehabilitering, individanpassad träning, stimuli och användandet av dagböcker. Dessa strategier kan användas som verktyg för en sjuksköterska när hon interagerar med personer med Parkinsons sjukdom.

Studien tar sin utgångspunkt i teorin om mental accounting. Vi behandlar för det första kategoriseringen av tillgångar och utgifter i olika konton i det mentala bokföringssystemet. Konkret undersöks huruvida någon skillnad i vilka inkomster eller tillgångar som används till olika typer av utgifter kan påvisas. Kontona som vid operationaliseringen valdes för att beskriva finansieringen av ett köp var ?regelbunden inkomst?, ?plötslig inkomst?, ?sparade pengar? och ?avbetalning?.

This essay ventilates the relatively new phenomenon employer branding. Due to societal changes, such as demographical and financial changes, the labour market in Sweden has changed. It is evident that an increasing number of organisations need to put more of an effort in their methods of attracting talent and retaining competence within the organisation. By a case study based on five interviews, the purpose of the study was to compare literature and practice to see how well they compare as well as how employer branding bring about different aspects of the effect. There was also an ambition to highlight aspects of employer branding considered important to have in mind when undertaking an employer branding exercise.

This thesis is focused on what impact stall confinement has on a horse?s mental and physical welfare. It was of great interest to get a gathered picture of how Swedish horseowners had experienced having their horses in stall confinement. A survey study was conducted to achieve this. The survey included twelve questions which for example investigated the horses? age at the time of stall confinement, the length of stall confinement and their sexes.

BACKGROUND: Today?s societal changes, including high rate of change and increasing information flows, are increasing the demand on the individual mental capacity. It becomes increasingly difficult to analytically process all the different dilemmas and everyday decisions as individuals have a limited mental capacity available to make these decisions. Thus, it has been suggested that ego-depleted relies more heavily on intuition, which is less burdensome, when making decision. However little is known about to what extent intuitive decisions differ from analytic.

Trädgårdsterapi brukar beskrivas som grön rehabilitering och har kompletterat institutionaliserad vård långt tillbaka i tiden. Naturen har bevisats främja mental återhämtning. Denna studie fokuserar på vinteraspekter, med utgångspunkten om att de obefogat har lämnats i bakgrunden. En fråga är om grön verkligen är den rätta benämningen på en rehabilitering som innefattar en natur som skiftar under årets lopp? Med undantag för städse- och vintergröna växter är den framförallt inte grön vintertid. Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att identifiera eventuella återhämtande faktorer som finns vintertid.

The objective of this entire essay, founded on nineteen interviews of poetry readers at thepublic library in Borås, is to ascertain why people do read poetry. But in addition to examinewhat sort of people who enjoy poetry, as well as what they appear to get out of their exercise.I have also put together the position of the poetry reader as a customer of the library.The summary of contents is primarily based on direct quotations of the interviews, and doesnot reflect any generally applicable facts about poetry readers. I am only trying to focus on thethoughts and sentiments on poetry experienced by a few randomly selected individuals. DanAndersson, Karin Boye, Nils Ferlin and Gustaf Fröding were stated as favourites by many.The only thing in common subsequently found by those interviewed was a great affection forliterature and a diligent usage of the library..

Bakgrund: Yoga är en religiöst obunden, mångtusenårig österländsk holistisk metod för att uppnå hälsa med fokus på att finna balans mellan kropp och själ. Den vanligaste yogaformen i västvärlden är Hathayoga, ur vilken olika inriktningar växt fram. Studier har visat att yoga kan förbättra både fysisk och mental hälsa. Yoga som behandlingsmetod vid olika sjukdomstillstånd uppmärksammas allt mer inom hälso- och sjukvården. Dess hälsopromotiva effekter betonas också då yogan har ett helhetsperspektiv, något som är eftersträvansvärt vid hälsopromotivt arbete.

Allmänläkare i primärvården är den första vårdgivare som människor i behov av psykisk hjälp möter. Det saknas forskning om behandling av psykiskt sjuka inom primärvården i enskilda länder. I syfte att hitta nya frågeställningar och få djupare förståelse av hur primärvården fungerar med avseende på psykiskt sjuka intervjuades elva allmänläkare i en kroatisk stad. Insamlade data från intervjuerna strukturerades och bearbetades genom en induktiv tematisk analys. Resultaten visar att allmänläkare upplever en hög arbetsbelastning.

Compared with a few years ago, the cost of concentrates has increased substantially and because of that an increased proportion of pasture is of interest. Pasture is cheap and the farmer does not have to harvest when the cows do it themselves by grazing. This saves both money and time. According to research milk yield decrease with an increasing proportion of pasture in the diet. This is because cows on pasture will have lower dry matter intake than cows with supplements.

Syftet med en gastric bypass- operation är att åstadkomma en viktminskning genom en förminskning av magsäcken, vilket resulterar i minskad hungerkänsla och reducerat matintag. Ett centralt mål inom överviktskirurgi är en ökad livskvalité. Det är därför betydelsefullt att se behandlingen som en helhet och att inte iaktta viktminskning som den enda betydande faktorn.Syftet i denna studie var att beskriva hur personer som genomgår en gastric bypass-operation hanterar situationen före och efter operationen. Studien är induktiv och utgår ifrån en kvalitativ ansats och baseras på en manifest analys utifrån textens innehåll ur sex bloggar skrivna av personer som genomgått en gastric bypass-operation.

De studier som m?tte kriterierna inkluderades och kvalitetsgranskades enligt SBU:s (Statens beredning f?r medicinsk och social utv?rdering) granskningsmall ?Bed?mning av randomiserade studier ? effekt av att tilldelas intervention?.

Popular culture is a phenomenon of growing importance in the society today. Children and teenagers are increasingly using popular culture in their everyday life to reflect and answer questions about their identities and the meaning of life. Swedish primary and upper secondary schools are expected to prepare their students for adulthood and to provide them with tools to explain understand and problematize contemporary society. From this perspective it is relevant to question whether the schools achieve this and whether the instruction given there represents the contemporary society. For the purpose of knowing more about how popular culture is perceived and dealt with in the Swedish education system, this study examines how eight textbooks in Religious Education (RE) and the national curriculum for upper secondary school discuss and treat popular culture.  The study focuses on when and in what ways the textbooks mention popular culture and if the curriculum provides any supportive base for including popular culture in religious education.

The purpose of this thesis is to, based on interviews and document studies, critically discuss how the introduction of kickboxing in Physical Education (PE) could affect gender equality in society. Based on a queer feminist and norm critical perspective on the prevailing teaching of PE, which, despite official efforts to challenge and modernize PE, persists in reproducing gender norms by e.g. spending 75% of class time on ball games. The hypothesis is that girls accessing violence (empowerment) through a bodily awareness in the form of kickboxing, positively would challenge the power imbalance that gender norms create. Girls are brought up, even today, in accordance with gender norms arguing against girls/women wanting to use their bodies as powerful tools to set limits.

There are plenty of exciting changes being developed in Tre Högar´s Park, which is located in the district of Linero, eastern Lund. A project group representing Linero If, Lugi Tennis and Linero/Östra Torn Health centre, has been created and is responsible for managing a development project of the Park. Their main focus is to create sports, exercise, health-promotion, health-care, recreation and rehabilitation facilities. They view the park area as having great potential and will transform it into a purpose built park for Health and Exercise. There are various authorities involved with and engaged in the scheme; aside from the project group, the municipality of Lund, The sport association of the handicapped and local schools are being consulted.
