Syftet med denna undersökning var dels att undersöka vilken uppfattning några idrottslärare har om mental träning, dels att undersöka vilket syfte de har med undervisningen samt hur de säger sig jobba i praktiken. Utifrån underökningens syfte intervjuades sex gymnasielärare från tre olika skolor med hjälp av semistrukturerade intervjuer. I arbetet sökte jag svar på vilka skillnader respektive likheter det fanns i hur de olika idrottslärarna arbetar med mental träning i skolan samt på vilket sätt undervisning och syfte med undervisning kring mental träning anpassats beroende på vilken elevgrupp som undervisas.Studien visade att lärarna hade varierande utsagor om såväl uppfattningar, syfte, innehåll och anpassning av mental träning. Då ingen konsensus råder kring ämnet finns det en tydlig skillnad mellan vad som erbjuds i undervisningen och kursplanens innehåll. Vidare kan man se att innehållet lärarna säger sig arbeta med skiljer sig från varandra men att tidigare riktlinjer för vad som kan förknippas med begreppet mental träning utgör det vanligaste undervisningsunderlaget varför en slutsats dras om att implementeringen av Gy11 ännu inte kommit så långt..

AbstractIn this study eight caregivers, all with long experience from working in nursing homes for people with dementia, were interviewed.  The aim of the study was to describe the caregiver?s experiences in caring for people with dementia and Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia disorder. Data were processed by qualitative, inductive, content analysis. The results were presented in four categories: To connect, Two days are never the same, Being calm and giving time and All are needed. The result showed that caregivers met a variety of difficult and varied tasks in nursing.

The overall aim with this essay was to study how counsellors at upper secondary school work with mental illness among youths and compare this with what research and theories advocate. This because there has been a rise in the number of people, especially in the age-group 16-24 years, suffering from different degrees of mental illnesses. The school can in some aspect contribute to cause mental illness but it also consists of good opportunities to offer counselling and work to prevent mental illness among the students. This study consists of five qualitative interviews and two short telephone interviews with school counsellors. During the interviews they expressed their thoughts concerning factors that causes mental illness among youths and gave an account of how they work with prevention, counselling and collaboration.

The main question of this study is about how reorganizations influence on the mental social working environment for chiefs in municipal care. We want to find out how chiefs experience their mental social working environment in a reorganization. The method we used was a qualitative method. We interviewed eight chiefs in municipal care. The interview was done in two different municipalities, where we interviewed four in each municipality.

Rapport på rapport visar att elevers psykiska hälsa blir allt sämre. Mental träning är ett samlingsnamn för olika metoder vi kan använda oss av för att träna upp vår mentala styrka. Den här studien belyser detta då det är ett mycket aktuellt ämne och med hjälp av denna empiriska studie kan vi lyfta fram mental träning och varför det är en tolkningsfråga.Med den nya läroplanen (Gy11) har en ny punkt tillkommit i det centrala innehållet, ?spänningsreglering och mental träning? där denna studie är inriktad på det senare, mental träning. Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur verksamma gymnasieidrottslärare tolkar och uppfattar det centrala innehållet spänningsreglering och mental träning i idrott och hälsa 1, samt hur lärarna belyser mental träning ur ett elevperspektiv.För att ta reda på vilka tolkningar som finns gjordes kvalitativa intervjuer med sex stycken idrottslärare runt om i mellersta Sverige.

A child with functional disorder getting close to starting school has different types of schooling to choose between. Parents and the school of the matter have to agree in consultation. I use the conceptions included and segregated schooling to show different ways attend school. By included education I mean that all students with as well as without functional disorder in a group shall be completely comprised in the situation and not be separated from the group by individual exercises (Fors 2004). A segregated schooling is often pursued in special school where all the students have functional disorder and the education usually takes place in separate buildings (Emanuelsson 2001).I have completed a qualitative case study of a boy who is 14 years old and has the functional disorder Down?s syndrome and has been placed at a special school his entire schooling.

Introduction: During the last decades, the development of the communication society has contributed to new patterns of communications among people, but also increased the use of computers and mobile devices. It has become more common to communicate through social medias, which has led to the new phenomena cyberbullying. At the same time, studies have shown an increase in mental health problems among adolescents during the last 25 years. Aim: The aim of this literature review was to investigate and map the characteristics of cyberbullying and its relationship to mental health among adolescents. The aim was also to investigate adolescents own actions to stop cyberbullying.

Den salutogena modellen beskriver hälsa som ett kontinuum mellan ytterligheterna total ohälsa och total hälsa. En persons placering på kontinuumet kan förklaras av dennes ?känsla av sammanhang? (KASAM) - en skyddande resurs som hjälper individen att hantera livets stressorer. Mental ohälsa ökar bland unga vuxna i dagens samhälle och studenter är en utsatt grupp. Forskning visar att höga grader av KASAM bidrar till god självupplevd hälsa.

The Swedish mental hospitals existed for about one hundred years, the period around 1880-1980. The research is intended to be from a local setting perspective to study the local approach used to meet requirements from Furunäsets mental hospital principals 1960 - 1972, the effect this had on the care and treatment of mentally ill patients and how Swedish society's changing approach to mental health influenced the process. The results of the research showed that Furunäset searched for ways to meet the principals' requirements which often went against the patients? personal best. Furunäsets mental hospital strove to fulfill its institutional goals in them selves rather than giving patients the care and treatment they needed.

The purpose of this study was to examine people's experiences of self-medication with cannabis in relation to post-traumatic stress disorder and professions? opinions of cannabis for medical use. The study focuses on norms and values as well as its impact on individuals. A qualitative approach was used with thematically open interview questions, in order to gain an insight into the interviewees? reality and their experiences.

Background:Persons living with a mental illness often have to put up with a financial disadvantage. Their ability to work is often limited and because of that they have to rely on the welfare reform to get an income. This income is often low compared to other citizens which by itself is something strongly associated with mental illness. Purpose: The purpose in this study was to describe how people living with a mental illness experience that their economic situation has an impact on their daily life. Method: This study is a literature review containing nine scientific articles from previous research.

Inledning:Den professionella ishockeyspelaren har ishockey som sitt jobb och befinner sig i en stark tävlingsmiljö där man hela tiden blir värderad. Om man inte presterar tillräckligt bra som ishockeyspelare kan man förlora sitt jobb. Ishockeyspelare tränar otroligt mycket fysik och teknik, men denna starkt prestationsbaserad miljö kan också innebära en mental belastning. Syfte:Syftet med studien är att undersöka uppfattningar om mentala färdigheter i elitserien i ishockey, samt hur man inom samma fält betraktar vikten av att arbeta med mental träning.Metod:Min empiriska studie innefattar intervjuer med sex sportchefer i elitserien i ishockey. Av det insamlade materialet har tre kategorier skapats och analyserats.Resultat:Jag fann att mentala färdigheter är något man finner som väldigt viktigt för ishockeyspelare i elitserien. För att klara av den tuffa prestationsmiljön behöver man framförallt ett gott självförtroende och en bra inställning.

The aim of this study is to analyze how individuals experience their eating disorder, the focus being if anorexia may be perceived as a secure safe zone in the new modern world. The aim is to examine if individuals affected with anorexia nervosa understand the disorder as a solution to the modern worlds changes and the new individual freedom that it entails. This will be analyzed with the help of terms in Erich Fromms theories about escape mechanisms and Catarina Kinnvalls theories about the modern worlds ontological insecurity.The study is based on data collected from four informants of different ages and gender. The interviews were conducted through email and informants were chosen based on a strategic selection and snowball sampling. For the analysis of the empirical material Fromms escape mechanisms (authoritarianism, destructiveness and automaton conformity) and Kinnvalls theories of identity in the modern world have been used.The results of the analysis show that the eating disorder has a great significance for the individual construction and maintenance of identity and that the eating disorder becomes a safe zone to retreat to in a world of performance anxiety.

In this study, the aim is to show how the social services fails to implement a specific rights law (LSS) wich is supposed to have the function of protecting the wellfare and provide specific rights to people with severe mental disabilities. By applying chritical theory on this case the aim is to provide an alternative answer on why it is possible for the social services to ignore these peoples rights.By revealing the power structures in the encounter between the system and a person with mental dissablilities, I conclude that people with mental disabilities does not fit in when it comes the social sevices way of implementing the law and further more that a private person is extreamly exposed to the systems arbitrariness..

Syftet med föreliggande studie var att undersöka samband mellan de arbetsvillkor som berör gränslöst arbete och mental samt fysisk hälsa. Även att undersöka skillnader mellan olika anställningsförhållanden så som fastanställning och ej fastanställning och om de skiljer sig åt beroende på arbetsvillkor och hälsa. Deltagarna var 69 personer varav 42 stycken var kvinnor och 27 stycken var män. Resultaten visade att det fanns starka samband mellan de olika arbetsvillkoren och mental samt fysisk hälsa. Det visade sig även att det fanns ett flertal signifikanta skillnader mellan fastanställda och ej fastanställda.
