Computer and videogames has increased rapidly over the past few decades and today a majority of the Swedish population enjoys them on a daily basis. When there are many users, it becomes important how the media chooses to portray the Medium because it can affect how the society judges and looks at computer- and videogames.The purpose of this essay is to look at how the portrayal of computer- and videogames has changed in Swedish Newspapers during the period 1994-2014. How the player is being portrayed is also relevant. The method was the discourse analysis founded by Laclau andMouffe and the material was chosen from the two biggest newspapers in Sweden, Dagens Nyheter and Aftonbladet. Theories that were used in the analysis were mainly framing, cultural studies, moral panics and theories based on gender.The result shows that there has been different kinds of portrayals of computer- and videogames from the beginning, though it was mostly negative in 1994 and 2004.

I denna undersökning studeras hur den svenska, enspråkiga lexikografinutnyttjar de möjligheter som följer med att ordböcker publiceras påInternet. Nationalencyklopedins ordbok, som är en stor, svensk nutidsordbokpå nätet, undersöks ur två perspektiv, dels det lexikografiska,vars tyngdpunkt ligger på hur väl ordboken är anpassad till det nyamediets förutsättningar, dels användarperspektivet, som fokuserar på hurden befintliga nätordboken fungerar som språkverktyg för användaren.Av undersökningen framgår att den undersökta svenska nätordbokenskulle ha kunnat användaranpassas bättre i övergången från pappersordboktill nätordbok. Framför allt handlar det om att ordboken inteutnyttjar mediets möjligheter fullt ut och heller inte har anpassats efterde nya förutsättningar som nätpubliceringen innebär. Det finns klarabrister i tillgänglighet till läsanvisningar och instruktioner, och ävenhänvisningar i form av länkar skulle kunna användas i högre grad.Beträffande sökhjälp är servicen till användaren bättre, men jämförelsermed den danska nätordboken Den Danske Ordbog avslöjar att det även idetta avseende finns alternativa lösningar som kan förenklainformationssökningen ytterligare.Slutsatsen blir att den svenska nätordboken inte helt har hunnitanpassa sig till den nya tekniken, men att utvecklingen sannolikt går motökade tekniska kunskaper hos användarna och större fokus påanvändarvänlighet hos nätordböckerna..

Purpose: The main purpose of the thesis is to examine the profitability of Momentum Strategies on the Nordic stock markets. This will provide insight and contribute to the debate on efficient markets. Finding profitable Momentum Strategies will provide strong evidence of inefficiency in the market. A secondary purpose is to examine factors which might cause or impact the profitability of the Momentum Strategy. We will look closely at the relationship between the profitability and factors such as risk (CAPM-beta), market capitalization, trading volume and seasonality.

The construction industry has been heavily criticized in the past few years for its development of productivity compared to the manufacturing industry. In 2009 the Social Care Center developed a report that treated och criticized different errors within the construction industry. For instance competence, construction errors and performance had showned bad results which had to be improved. A common sentence within the building industry is that ?every project is unique?. Today it?s common for a construction company to have costs for material and services which exceeds two-thirds of the total cost.

Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att utifrån e-kundlojalitetsbegreppet utvärdera hur välgörenhetsorganisationer i dagsläget arbetar med sociala medier liksom hur de kan förbättra gåvogivarnas e-kundlojalitet genom sociala medier. Metod: Våra metoder har både kvalitativa och kvantitativa inslag och består av intervjuer med personal från fyra olika välgörenhetsorganisationer som är väl insatta i arbetet med sociala medier liksom innehållsanalyser av organisationernas profilsidor i sociala medier. Teori: Den teoretiska referensramen inleds med rekommendationer för sociala medier. Därefter följer en redogörelse av relationsmarknadsföring och hur den kan appliceras på välgörenhetsorganisationer. Vidare går vi sedan djupare in på lojalitet respektive e-lojalitet för att visa på hur dessa begrepp ska appliceras på vår empiri.

This thesis gives the reader an understanding for newsletters within e-commerce, and how to work with them as a channel for marketing. Furthermore it explains the technical and graphical demands, and how to ensure that the newsletter reaches the intended receivers.A successful newsletter can entice people to shop, but can also help to strengthen a brand and the relationship between the customer and the company. During the writing of the thesis, it has emerged that the most important part of a newsletter (which also determine whether or not the receiver reads the letter) are the subject heading, sender, layout, headlines,images and the deregistration link.A part from working with the different parts of the letter, the sender should also be aware of the technical and graphical demands. Since the E-mail clients are looking out forimages, fonts that are not embedded in the computer, and for questionable words there?s a big risk for ending up in a spam filter when not considering the demands.

The purpose of this essay is to examine what literary heritage teachers communicate in the school subject Swedish at upper secondary school. The overall research question for this work is: Which authors and/or works are mentioned by the teachers in the school subject Swedish at upper secondary school? How well do these authors and/or works answer towards a multicultural perspective? Which factors affect teachers´ selections of texts? Based on this purpose and these research questions, the aim is to answer the didactic question of what.To accomplish the purpose of the study a quantitative method has been used. The survey was conducted in two Medium-sized cities in central Sweden, and was answered by 17 teachers. The study shows that the teachers ascribe the Western and Swedish literature great importance.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur streetstyle-bilder förhåller sig till sin visuella kultur i det nya bloggmediet genom att besvara följande frågor: ?Hur möter betraktaren dessa bilder??, ?Vilka omständigheter finns kring fotografens bildskapande??, ?Hur förhåller sig bilderna till sin visuella kontext? samt ?Hur påverkas genren streetstyle-bilder till den nya bloggkontexten??. The main purpose of this Master thesis is to investigate the journalists' attitude towards Internet as a news Medium. The thesis also gives a general synopsis of the changing role of news media as enter the scene of Internet. The major part of this study consists of empirical studies though there is not much research-work made in this area. This case study is based on qualitative interviews of journalists. This method was the most suitable as the aim was to see tendencies and attitudes in a more individual light.

This report deals with activities that from a CSR perspective are considered to create a shared value for a Medium-sized construction company in Sweden. The CSR definition used in the report is the European Commission?s since it reflects the valuecreating aspects of CSR, in contrast to the traditional philanthropic aspect of CSR.Companies in the building construction industry have difficulties identifying activities that create value in society and in the company. The aim with the project is to, from a CSR perspective, identify and evaluate value creating activities in a building construction company. The activities will be evaluated with respect to competitiveness and how they can be implemented into an organization.

Genom att titta på tre stycken TV-program; Arga Snickaren, Lyxfällan och Rent hus har jag undersökt hur experterna/coacherna i TV-programmen verkar, vad är det för budskap och moral som de förmedlar samt vilken betydelse det kan få. För att förstå och analysera mitt material har jag använt mig av de teoretiska utgångspunkterna; orent och rent, privat och offentlig sfär, experter och coacher samt moral. Jag har valt att titta på TV-programmen och därefter jämföra materialet för att förstå och utskilja mönster och strukturer, skillnader och likheter. Jag har använt mig av den klassiska dramaturgin som ett slags utgångspunkt för att förstå uppbyggnaden av TV-programmen. Experterna/coacherna verkar på olika sätt i respektive TV-program. Den gemensamma nämnaren är att experterna/coacherna ska bidra med en kunskapsförmedling kring den problematiska situation som deltagarna befinner sig i. Hur detta sker skiljer sig mellan TV-programmen, allt från renodlad kunskapsförmedling till ett slags moralpredikan där experten fostrar deltagaren i att förändra sitt beteende och bli en god samhällsmedborgare, allt enligt normen.

Abstract Our intent with this study was to find out what changes have been made during the last 30 years in the way that the media reports from certain events. We choose to study the world of football and specially the Swedish national team and it?s relationship to the Swedish television Medium in the World Cup of 1974 and the World Cup of 2006. The study mainly focuses on the differences in commentary and in the production from both of the championships. We used Keith Selby and Ron Cowdery?s book How to study television and Mats Ekström and Lars-Åke Larsson?s book Metoder i kommunikationsvetenskap as tools to analyze the games we watched. The result showed that there?s been a lot of changes media wise between the two championships.

The purpose of this qualitative study has been; how social bonds are interlaced between thesocial worlds contained within the analytical division of ?outside Internet? and ?withinInternet?. What happens with the social bond as the individual oscillate between this analyticbisection? This purpose raises important questions of the use of Internet in everyday life.A new stance is taken toward studying the Internets integration into everyday life. The focusis adjusted to the importance of emotions.
