Ensilering innebär syrefri konservering av vallfoder med hjälp av mjölksyrebakterier där aktivitet av oönskade mikroorganismer såsom klostridier och enterobakter bör förhindras. Ett vallensilage med bra näringsinnehåll och god hygienisk kvalitet kan ge hög konsumtion och produktion hos mjölkkor. Syftet med studien var att studera effekten av förtorkningsteknik och tillsatsmedel på ensilagets hygieniska kvalitet samt konsumtion och produktion hos mjölkkor. I försöket ingick tre förtorkningsmetoder och tre tillsatsmedelsbehandlingar, det vill säga totalt nio behandlingar. Förtorkningsmetoderna var bredspridning, enkelsträng och dubbelsträng och tillsatsmedelsbehandlingarna var två kemiska preparat; Promyr NF (> 75 % myrsyra, < 25 % propionsyra och salter av organiska syror; Perstorp AB, Perstorp, Sverige) och Kofasil Ultra (natriumnitrit, natriumbensoat, hexametylentetramin och natriumpropionat; Addcon Nordic A/S) som jämfördes med ett kontrolled utan tillsats. Studien genomfördes under hösten 2007 på Nötcenter Viken med 48 kor.

Since feeding fodder crops to dairy cows is a heavy and time-consuming but often disregarded line of work, this study wishes to view the different possibilities that are currently available to decrease the time to feed and apply this knowledge on an existing farm. For this purpose, four farms have been studied due to what feeding systems that are currently used and how long time the feeding required. The occurring systems are either mobile, i.e. a feed mixer operated by a tractor witch feeds the cattle via a drivable fodder table, or a stationery mixer, i.e. an electrically powered mixer which fills an automatic feeder.

The purpose of this thesis was to study a selection of Swedish government agencies and their usage of new media to convey information. We thought that the relationship between government agencies and the media should be addressed. This because of the current transitional period between traditional and new media. We have studied five different Swedish government agencies; Swedish Armed Forces, Swedish Tax Agency, Swedish National Institute of Public Health, Trafikverket and Sida.We used a qualitive content analysis and analyzed their homepages on the basis of six different criteria. In addition to this we studied their presence on external social communities and how the government agencies comply with the requirements of their communicative efforts.The study shows that the government agencies? media usage varies.

 This paper is made on behalf of Statistics and Research Åland, ÅSUB. The aim is to explain the turnover for companies in Åland, with appropriate variables. The main study variables are variables that consist of the Swedish and Finnish activity indices. The study variables also include variables which consist of tourists from Sweden and Finland and the introduction of the Euro in Finland. The data used is from the period January 1996 to June 2008.Different regression models for the turnover are tried and explanatory variables are selected by use of stepwise regression, backward elemination and forward selection. The final model includes activity indices for Sweden and Finland, the introduction of the Euro, tourists from Finland and an autoregressive component of order one .

Through analysis of the work of scheduling the doctors at the hospitals of Sundsvall,Gävle and Karolinska in Stockholm this thesis presents some conclusion about howand why a computer system would benefit these very tasks. The reason for doing thisis mainly to save money through more efficient scheduling, but also to minimizeerrors and maximize comfort for scheduler and doctor alike.Scheduling consists of collecting doctors? requests, assessing the need of staff,distribute the available doctors and make sure all tasks are covered throughout thescheduled period of time. The work is often very complex and involves manyvariables ranging from competence to personal whishes and economical constraints.Solving these problems takes a lot of time and energy which could be better spentcuring patients.The conclusion of this thesis is that there is reason to develop such a system to savetime and optimize resources. A description of the system is found in numerous lists ofroles, tasks and prototype sketches which combined shape the content andfunctionality.

Prior research in human bird relations is relatively small and discussion about bird ecology in relation to humans is largely not discussed. The study means to understand how a difference in usage of birds and symbolization of a bird occurs. This will be answered through analysis of two bird species. The study uses three different sources of material to conclude its answers. The sources are graves with bones of predatory birds, material culture representing bird motifs and historical sources discussing mythology.

The foundation for this thesis lies in whether or not, and how, the body representation in printed commercials, specific products directed to the body (shampoo, body lotion etc.), has changed during the last fifty years. Four years have been chosen because of the changes in society that we believe might have had an impact. The commercials that have been picked out are the ones that best represent the general view of the body. We have found that the changes when it comes to body presentation has followed the social development to a certain degree, but it is difficult to say how much the society has had an affect on the body ideal in advertising. Representations of the male body is something that has escalated since the early 70?s, fifteen years earlier few commercials was made with male models, and the few there were, never showed more than the face.

Projektet Prio Promotion har genomförts i Hässleholms kommun under en 4-6 månaders period, i syfte att stärka friskfaktorer på olika arbetsplatser. Projektet var riktat mot arbetsplatser med höga sjuktal, som hemtjänst, äldreboende, städpersonal samt förskolepersonal. Prio Promotion innefattade insatser i form av ergometercykeltest, föreläsningar angående fysisk aktivitet samt stress, stavgångs- och styrketräningsinstruktioner och en motionstävling. Denna rapport syftar till att göra en resultatutvärdering av Prio Promotion, med hjälp av resultat från enkäter och ergometercykeltest som gjordes både före och efter projektet. De c:a 134 insamlade enkäterna samt resultaten från ergometercykeltesterna fördes in och analyserades i SPSS 12.0.

Syftet med vår undersökning var att se om vi som blivande pedagoger kunde öka elevernas läslust med hjälp av ett tematiskt arbete kring skönlitteratur. Vi har använt oss av olika litteraturer kring forskning av läslust. Vår undersökning är genomförd under vår VFU i en årskurs 4 i Luleå kommun. För att få en bredare kunskap om elevernas läsvanor och läslust har enkätundersökningar, intervjuer och observationer genomförts. Vårt arbete är av kvalitativ karaktär.

In this report the situation for cyclists on 2+1-roads is analysed and studied. Theseroads are often the old 13-meter roads that have been changed into 2+1 to increasethe security. Two road sections outside Motala in Sweden has been deep studiedand analysed. The different parts in the planning process show how the progressgoes. To begin with the change should be within the old 13 meters but after thepilot study was circulated for comments the result became a broadening to 13,75and 14,00 meters.

Att beskriva och tolka några pedagogers upplevelser av sina långsiktiga arbeten ur genus-perspektiv, har varit mitt syfte med det här arbetet. Vad upplever de har varit av betydelse för att kunna hålla arbetet vid liv under längre period? Studien bygger på kvalitativa intervjuer av sex olika pedagoger på tre olika förskolor i en stad i Norrbotten. Samtliga informanter påtalar att ledarens stöd och engagemang har haft eller kommer att ha avgörande betydelse för deras arbete av långsiktig karaktär. Även kunskapen om deras eget förhållningssätt och att få syn på genusmönster i barngruppen har varit avgörande.

A study was made to evaluate how current measurementscould help to determine how particles from fish farms are dispersed. During sixweeks of the summer 2012, two different current measurements were conducted.One of them consisted of measurements each fifth minute at 5 m and 15 m atthree locations for 14-16 days each. The other consisted of profilemeasurements at each location at four times during the period of six weeks. Forthe current measurements two instruments (model RCM 9) were used. A two weekmeasurement can give enough data to make an evaluation of how the currents at alocation will transport litter from a fish farm.
