Informationsteknologi spelar en allt viktigare roll i dagens organisationer. Trots detta har lite forskning genomförts kring hur en organisation resonerar vid utvärdering av nya system och hur de förs in i organisationen. För att införandet av ny teknologi skall ske med bästa möjliga resultat i en organisation krävs en ökad kunskap om vad som kan vara kritiskt avgörande för framgång. Då införandeprocessen är en komplex process kan det för att uppnå framgång vara klokt att identifiera vilka faktorer som kan vara viktiga att behandla för den specifika organisationen. I denna studie kartläggs hur utvärderingen av en IT-produkt genomförs i en specifik kontext på ett sådant sätt att den slutgiltiga produkten skall motsvara det specifika organisatoriska behovet.

Generation Y gör sitt intåg på arbetsmarknaden och med denna nya grupp medarbetare har det även skapats nya krav, förväntningar och förutsättningar för dagens arbetsgivare. De nya framtida kraven kan komma att förändra organisationer och dess processer. Studien hade som syfte att se vilka mekanismer som påverkar de unga medarbetarna i en organisation vad gäller lojalitet. Sex personer från samma organisation deltog i studien och data samlades in genom semistrukturerade intervjuer. Resultatet visar att Generation Y:s lojalitet inte handlar om att stanna kvar länge i en organisation. Det framkommer i resultatet att lojalitet handlar mycket om balans mellan både arbetsgivaren och arbetstagaren och att medarbetare som tillhör Generation Y skapar meningsfullhet genom upplevelsen av att bidra med något till organisationen.

SAMMANFATTNINGIntroduktionKommunikationen i ett vårdteam har stor betydelse för samarbetet kring en skadad patient. När kommunikationen brister kan det leda till sämre omhändertagande av en traumapatient. Ledaren för teamet har en betydande roll för teamarbetet. På Försvarsmedicincentrum i Göteborg tränas teamen med medicinsk simulering med fokus på teamarbete.SyfteSyftet var att undersöka hur kommunikationen erfors och påverkade samarbetet inom teamet under en medicinsk simuleringsövning.MetodFokusgruppintervjuer genomfördes av teamen efter en övning i medicinsk fullskalesimulering. Frågorna var semistrukturerade.

Undersökningen rör funktionsledarnas nya roll på Länsstyrelsen i Kronobergslän. Den nya rollen är ett utökat chefskap som är en del av en omorganisering. Syftet med studien är att ta reda på hur det utökade chefskapet hos funktionsledarna påverkar deras, roll och arbetsgemenskap samt vilka effekter ett ledarskap längre ner i organisationen medför. Teorier kring roll, ledarskap, organisation och institution har används. Metoden som använts är främst intervjuer.

Introduction: A big part of the patients that recently has gone through operation at surgical units experiences pain in different scales after their operation. Untreated postoperative pain has been proved in different studies to increase to risk medical complications, longer rehabilitation, more days at the hospital and higher expenses for the hospital. One of the nurses? main tasks is to notice and relieve the pain of the patients. To engage the patients more in the medical process and make the nurses´ work more person-centered could make an impact on the postoperative pain and contribute to a better pain relief.

Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att redogöra för hur ledare och anställda i en distansorganisation kan uppmuntras, via en god kommunikation till att förmedla sin kreativa förmåga. Genom att beskriva hur arbetet med kommunikation sker mellan de båda partnerna, kan vi presentera en förståelse om hur det skapas nya kreativa idéer även när medarbetarna inte är under kontorets tak. Metod: Den metod vi har utgått ifrån är en kvalitativ studie där data har samlats in genom en personlig intervju samt tre stycken telefonintervjuer. Den personliga intervjun genomfördes med KNS Bilfrakt AB ena delägare. Telefonintervjuerna genomfördes på tre lastbilschaufförer inom samma organisation.

As an effect of increased living standards and improved health care, life expectancy has risen in many parts of the world. At the same time, welfare diseases such as diabetes and obesity increases. As the number of elderly and long-term sick rises, so will the medical care needs. E-health applications are often presented as a way to meet future medical and doing so within the scope of existing resources. By facilitating health communication and widen access to health services by offering them online, e-health applications encourages people to become more engaged in their own health, thus working proactively towards a healthier population.

This is an essay about health promotion and organisation development. The problem concerning all health issues that can be tied to work related illnesses has long been a problem in Sweden. For example did this problem alone cost the Swedish government 25 million crones a day between the years 2000-2001. This is a major issue and there is lots of money to save in this area. This is why we wanted to research how to promote health by changing the structure of the selected company.

This Bachelor Thesis in the area of Computer Science and Work Science describes the process of design and development of an IT-tool between the municipality of Ron-neby and TietoEnator a development and consultancy firm, the Gothenburg office. The thesis focuses mainly on the cooperation between the consultant designer and the local municipal. Through cooperation, the organisation is incorporated into the tool and the tool is incorporated into the organisation. Concepts that are central in this thesis are design, cooperation and tailoring. A question raised is, if distance work and extensive cooperation might be a good way of working in the process of design and development, when the organisation is being incorporated into the tool. Advan-tages and disadvantages of this way of working are discussed. Our studies show that distance work is a good complement for personal meet-ings between designer and co-developer.

Summary:The Clinical Training Center at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala uses new methods for educating and training veterinary students. Among these methods are computer programs. The aim of this study was to create an interactive application based on data from horses CT-scanned at the Center for Medical Image and Visualization at Linköping University Hospital. The purpose of this application is for veterinary students to be able to use multidimensional visualization to study equine anatomy. The resulting application named "EQUINE VIRTUAL ANATOMY - Flash in the Tunnel" consists of data from six heads, one left foreleg and a wooden dalahorse.

Introduction: Suicide is a major public health problem both internationally and in Sweden. Itis known in research that sex and gender have a bearing on the incidence of suicide andattempted suicide. Gender Bias in medical research could lead to medical errors and to thatthe problem is made invisible. That is why it is important to identify and eliminate them. AimThe purpose of this paper was to examine whether there is gender bias in scientific articlesdealing with suicide prevention interventions and how this is expressed.

This thesis studies the Swedish advertising business as an actor in the national formation of Sweden. It argues that earlier research has ignored to see advertising businesses as possible forces of these formations. The essay investigates how this appears historically through collaboration with an informational organisation that had risen due to the Second World War and that was a part of the national defence. I can, by investigating a discussion that focused on this informational organisation and the advertising businesses relation to it, show how the business as an effect of a civic engagement expressed an interest to participate in the informational work. Background: The incidence of caesarean section for breech presentation has reached approximately 90 % in Sweden. In many of these cases, by means of specific selection criteria, it would be as safe to plan for vaginal breech delivery. Aim: The objective of this study was to investigate differences in management and to compare maternal and fetal outcomes according to delivery mode of breech presentation; vaginal vs. caesarian section. The study included breech presentation in full term singleton pregnancies at the UppsalaUniversityHospital, Uppsala, Sweden (UAS). Method: The study was based on medical record data with a retrospective, descriptive, comparative design with quantitative approach. The method for data collection was a manual review of patient records using a structured questionnaire. Results: Of the women with children in breech presentation during the period studied, 11 % gave birth vaginally.
