This is a qualitative study designed to investigate how professional support group leaders talk about their role as supervisor of support groups for children and adolescents with problematic home situations. We also examine how these supervisors talk about the method they use and how they talk about the individual child. We have chosen critical discourse analysis to help us explore if there are different ways to talk about these territories. Our questions are:How does the support group leader talk about his role?How does the support group leader talk about the method?How does the support group leader talk about the individual child?The theories we have chosen to use in the analysis of our material is Aaron Antonovsky's Sense of Coherence and social constructivism.

With the increasing number of adoptees in Sweden, so has the amount of literature regarding different aspects of adoption. The aim of this study is to explore the construction of adoptees in children's literature. It takes on a social constructionism view, by regarding language as a narrative tool in which human beings construct versions of different phenomenon. By exploring the different discourses in the data within the context adoption, we can identify different versions of "the adopted child" and their needs as it is constructed in the literature. Also, by putting them in a bigger context, we are allowed to see the social structures and the discursive conditions that allow a certain child perspective of "the adopted child" to take place.

The aim for this master thesis is to create an understanding of the intersubjective processes of how individuals are experimenting with their identities in social media and the consequences for the identity and embodiment. The thesis is completed with the help of discourse analysis and a starting point in four complementary theories. Central to the implementation of the analysis is the concept of diffraction. Therefore the thesis is, which is reflected in the choice of theoretical approaches and methods, critical to many aspects of classical philosophy of science and method. The empirical material is based on interviews.

The importance of student influence at the universities is something that is described in Swedish regulations as well as in local policies and documents for Karlstad University. At the same time there is no description for the interpretation of what student influence actually means. The starting point of this paper has to do with rapid changes within the information technology and the need for agile and fast systems. Jag har arbetat med framtagningen av ett nytt pressinfosystem till SVT. Framförallt har jag undersökt hur man kan gå till väga när man arbetar arbetarcentrerat med interaktionsdesign. Processen har gått igenom flera steg, från att identifiera användargrupper och följa deras väg över webbplatsen till att identifiera nyckelfunktioner och kritiska sidor. Därefter har en design för sidan tagits fram, testats och delvis implementerats. Processen har gjort att jag har fått en tydligare bild av några best practices och testmetoder samt en fördjupad förståelse för hur arbetet med att ta fram interaktiva produkter kan se ut..

?Childs pedagogic material ? A qualitative study of child?s use of pedagogic materials available at five nursery schools and about their teachers thoughts about the display of the pedagogic material?In the nursery preschool the environment and the educational materials have always had a central place. That's why it has been chosen to study and observe five preschools and interview sex teachers, in an attempt to understand the teachers thought about the choice of material and the choices of material that the children used. The reason I do this is to see what the underlying idea about the materials the children use is, and why educators choose to make certain materials visible. The purpose of this study is to examine the educational materials that are used to stimulate children´s learning and examine what determines the choice of educational materials.

Sammanfattning:Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med denna undersökning är att undersöka vilka material/ hjälpmedel som används för att hjälpa barnen med koncentrationssvårigheter i förskolorna och att undersöka vilka för- och nackdelar pedagogerna ser med materialet/ hjälpmedel.MetodFör att undersöka vilka material/verktyg som finns i verksamheterna gjordes en webbenkät.Webbenkäten korsanalyserades med en intervju som gjordes i en särskoleverksamhet.ResultatResultatet av enkäten visade att pedagogerna använde olika färdiga material samt egenutvecklat material. Det positiva som framkom var att alla barn oavsett behov gynnades av att arbeta med materialet. Det negativa var att pedagogerna ansåg att de hade för lite schemalagd tid att leta efter passande material.Betydelse för läraryrketMin förhoppning är att denna undersökning ska hjälpa pedagoger i förskoleverksamheter med att lättare kunna söka passande material till barngrupperna. Vi har genom intervjuer och klassrumsobservationer undersökt hur tre pedagoger i grundskolans tidigare år använder elevernas erfarenheter från sin vardag i matematikundervisningen, varför pedagogerna undervisar som de gör samt vad de använder för material i sin undervisning..

Syftet med vår undersökning är att ta reda på hur och om barn och pedagoger använder tredimensionella material på två förskolor. Vårt intresse för skapande material uppstod då vi gick sidoämneskursen Det tredimensionella konstruerade arbetet inom slöjd/hantverk, då vi själv fick arbeta och bekanta oss med tredimensionella material. Genom våra diskussioner inom ämnet blev vi intresserade av att ta reda på om dessa material fanns ute på förskolorna. För att ta reda på detta gjorde vi en undersökning med kvalitativa observationer och intervjuer med åtta barn och fyra pedagoger. Vi stödjer oss främst på Granbergs, Tragetons och Vygotskijs teorier och forskning om skapande verksamhet. Vår slutsats är att tredimensionella material finns ute på förskolorna, men att de sällan används.

This paper has it?s starting point in the midst of the debate concerning behaviour in socialmedia. Prior research has primarily been concerned with the role and responsibility of theuser while technology has been viewed as morally neutral. The base of the study isdiscourse analysis and a discursive psychology perspective is used to compare texts onTwitter and Facebook that were published during the events of the Boston bombings.The aim is to examine how platform users construct reality, groups and identities andwhat consequences those constructions bring. An interpretation of why the discourse ofTwitter and Facebook differ is grounded in aspects of design, which have been identifiedas having an influence on behaviour.

In Sweden, large scale planting of Lodgepole pine (Pinus contorta var. latifolia) started in the beginning of the 1970?s. At first, the aim was production of pulpwood, but later, also production of timber became considered realistic. Today, Sweden has more than 520 000 ha of Lodgepole pine.

The aim of this thesis in Archival Science was to explore the concept of electronic archives and the challenges that might be encountered when attempting to move archives into a new digital age, as well as having a closer look at the term e-archive itself. Another aim was to explore how the OAIS reference model works in practice.To explore these questions I decided to do a case study on E-Arkiv Stockholm, a functioning e-archive. I decided to do a study on several documents that were created throughout the project, these included documents related to the planning of the archive, as well as the final report. My reason for this method was that these docu-ments came straight from reality and would give a clear and unbiased view of the project and it?s many aspects.Examination of the documents showed that the OAIS reference model and its concepts had been the foun-dation of much of the planning.

The main aim of the thesis is, first, to present a theoretical and methodological perspective for the study of postmodern theory in historiography; second, to discuss and evaluate earlier research on the subject; and third, to show that historians must be more self-reflexive about their explicit as well as implicit theoretical and philosphical premises. My theoretical and methodological inspiration comes mainly from three directions: first, the discourse analytic theory propagated by the political theorists Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe; second, concepts from Lacanian psychoanalysis as propagated by the Slovenian philosopher Slavoj Zizek; and, finally, the later Ludwig Wittgensteins theory of language.Using this perspective a minor case study is made based on five dissertations in history at Lund University from 1999 to 2006 as source material. This in order to indicate a strong influence of postmodern theory in Swedish historiography. It is further argued that it is legitimate to speak of one postmodernism, not in spite, but because of the fact that postmodernism is a semantically highly paradoxical, contradictory and unstable phenomenon. The main results of the analysis can be summarized as follows: (i) earlier research on the subject is simplified and unreflected and must be abandoned, because (ii) postmodernism seen as a discursive whole, i.e.
