Social ingenjörskonst är ett stort hot mot informationssäkerhet. Den här uppsatsen undersöker hur en attack går till, vilka som utgör hotet och vilka som utgör måltavlor, samt hur attackerna kan förebyggas. Hackaren framställs ofta som en ung man som drivs av nyfikenhet och får kickar av att manipulera och stjäla information. Den sociala ingenjören besitter även förmågan att manipulera människor på ett sätt som den traditionella hackaren saknar. Många spelar på mottagarens medkänsla, tacksamhet, lojalitet eller respekt för auktoriteter för att vinna förtroende. I takt med att den tekniska säkerhet förstärks är det troligt att fler väljer att använda människor istället för tekniken när de utför en attack.

This master?s thesis was written on the behalf of Saba Frukt och Grönt AB inHelsingborg and is the final part of the Master program in MechanicalEngineering at Halmstad University.The main task was to introduce visual control and increase the rate of concept intwo of the departments of the company. The goal is to come up withimplementation proposals, and if possible to implement one in the near future.The author attacks the problem by using the Six Sigma DMAIC-methodology as itis a clear and structured approach. As a complement Lean-inspired tools are used.After compiling the results from the interviews and benchmarking somesuggestions are made. This report is a result of a diplomawork in construction engineering.The goal of this thesis is to highlighthow the work with planning andperformance management is done in theprojects at the Swedish buildingcontractor Skanska Väg & anläggning,region Stockholm/Mälardalen, districtMark Stockholm North, compared toSkanska?s policies.The comparison was made with focus onfive tools for productivity. The toolsare as follow: broken-down schedule,work sets, visual control, performancemanagement/progress monitoring and bestpractice.The study showed that the usage of thedifferent tools varied both within andbetween the different projects.Practically none of the projects whereusing the tools progress monitoring andbest practice, mostly due to fewoperations being applicable. The worksets are now mostly documented, but theyare rarely followed up. Performancemanagement is somewhat inconsequentialfor the moment, but during 2011 targetsheets will be introduced, withtemplates for setting up targets.Scheduling is one of the most importantworks regarding planning.

In the last few years people have become more and more aware of how humanity is affecting the climate. In the direction of reducing the greenhouse gases is to design engines with higher tensile properties and reduced weight, in order to achieve lower fuel consumption and cleaner fuel incineration in today's truck engines.In order to achieve these requirements it?s necessary to increase the combustion pressure in the engine. This requires higher tensile properties and high thermal conductivity of the engine material. The department of Component Technology at the University of Jönköping in collaboration with Volvo Powertrain AB, Scania CV AB and DAROS Piston Rings AB has been commissioned to develop this material and to find knowledge of material properties used in truck engines and piston rings used for marine applications.The purpose with this work is to analyze the tensile properties of a series of cast iron, cast under different metallurgical conditions.Four different series of cast irons have been analyzed from four points of view, carbon concentration, nodularity, amount inoculation and cooling rate.After the tensile test all specimen data was analyzed in a mathematic calculation program called Matlab 2006a.

Helsingborg has the intention to build a train tunnel south of Knutpunkten. This report investigates the hydro geological aspects of the project. Questions at issue that will be answered: 1. Which parameters affect the groundwater level? 2. How will these parameters change within 100 years considering climate changes and what will be the consequences on the groundwater level. According to SMHI climate analysis the climate can change causing increasing precipitation, temperature, and a rising sea level.

Det problemområde som behandlas i arbetet är den del av systemutvecklarens arbete avsett att hantera förändringar i kravbilden under systemutvecklingens hela livscykel, kallat Requirements Management (RM). Arbetet fokuseras på detaljer kring spårbarhet inom förändringshantering.För att lyckas i spårbarhetsarbetet gäller det för systemutvecklaren att se hur de olika krav som finns i kravbilden är relaterade till varandra och var kraven har sitt ursprung. Det skiljs inom spårbarhetsområdet mellan framåt- och bakåtriktad spårbarhet. Vardera spårbarhetsriktningen delas sedan in i två steg från kravursprung framåt via kravdokumentation till realisering då det gäller den framåtriktade och från realisering via kravdokumentation till kravursprung då det gäller den bakåtriktade.En studie har genomförts där litteraturens syn har jämförts med ett antal respondenters då det gäller att dels kartlägga vilka typer av spårbarhet som behövs inom systemutvecklingsprojekt och dels vilket stöd som behövs för att etablera och underhålla denna spårbarhet..

Som nämns i titeln till examensarbetet är målet att integrera olika knowledge-based engineering (KBE) -applikationer till ett nytt IT-stöd. Med mål i examensarbetets kontext avses att skapa en begreppsmodell genom att tillämpa ontologi och taxonomi som en teknik i en begreppsmodellering. På detta sätt kan ett gemensamt vokabulär skapas. Syftet med vokabuläret är att presentera en samstämmig förklaring till olika begrepp samt relationerna dem emellan. Därav kan tolkningen av ett begrepps betydelse minimeras och på så sätt undvika "språkförbistring".

This is a master thesis work carried out at the Department of Energy and Environment atthe Division of Electric Power Engineering. The master thesis work describes the theoryof distance protection relaying in 130 kV meshed distribution networks. The main aim ofthe thesis was to construct an Excel application for calculation and documentation of thesettings for distance protection relays. The program is based on general methods forcalculating settings of the different zones for the distance relay and presents the settingsin simple graphics using quadrilateral characteristics.The reason for building an Excel based application is the great variety of distanceprotection relays in live networks. The manufacturers of distance protection relays makeprogram for documentation available, however, they are based on the typical settings forthe specific relays.

This thesis engages the topic of test methods for wood adhesives. Two test methods were evaluated, EN 302-1, a European standard, and ASTM D905, an American standard. The total amount of specimens manufactured and tested was more than 500. The adhesive bonds were tested in shear with an increasing load on the specimen until failure.The adhesives used were epoxy-resin, phenol-resorcinol-formaldehyde and a 2-K polyurethane. The test programme included five different types of intentional errors per method, in order to investigate the sensitivity of the test methods.

This report presents a thesis project at the School of Engineering, Jo?nko?pingUniversity, where the task has been to develop a proposal for a parish communitycentre for the Swedish church?s parish community in Bankeryd.Background1 st of November in 2004 the parish in Bankeryd appointed a special commissionof inquiry called Framtidsgruppen (Future Group), to analyse the parishcommunity?s different activities during the past 5 years and analyse the futureactivities and needs for the upcoming 5-10 years. This analysis would underlie theneeds of building a new centre for the parish community.Implementation, results and conclusionThe main focal points which this report is concentrated on has been to develop abuilding that is well suited for the activities, well adjusted for disabled persons andthe building shall be appealing in an architectural point of view.Based on the information provided from the parish community, studies ofliterature, reference objects and discussions with the contact person at the parishcommunity and the instructor of this project, the programming has beendeveloped. The project has been provided by Zenit design group and the goal for this project was tomanufacture and perform tests of a prototype that supersaturates water in a continuous flow ofwater. The project has involved finding and sorting out relevant data in scientific papers, books,communication with foreign manufactures and other platforms for information.The project has resulted in manufacturing of a test rig and an oxygen infuser based onmembrane technology. The test rigs purpose was to perform tests on oxygen infusers fordifferent comparison test and performance benchmarks in a in a laboratory provided by Zenit.The project led to satisfying results using the oxygen infuser manufactured by the authors withcomparable levels of saturation to the reference infuser.The theory behind this project is based on medical research, belonging terms will be explainedbut the authors have chosen to delimit the project from the medical area. The reason for this islack of knowledge in this area and its irrelevance to the mechanical engineering education insuch..

Energy-wise houses in Järinge - technical follow-up The company JM built energy-efficient houses in Tensta in Stockholm. They have built a total of 16 houses divided into two parts of A-houses and B-houses. The buildings are an attempt by JM to minimize energy-use of the buildings without affecting the comfort and living standards. The project aims to examine the data for the 16 houses on the basis of data and produce a report showing how the buildings worked through a technical perspective. JM approximates that the purchased energy will not be higher than 95 kWh/m2 per year.

Denna rapport är en examensarbetsavhandling utförd vid KTH, Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan, under mars-augusti 2013. Arbetet har gjorts i samarbete med Nexus Marine som är en ledande tillverkare av marin navigationsutrustning för segelbåtar.Syftet med examensarbetet var att utveckla en ny konstruktionslösning för en vattentät kapsling till företagets instrument. Kapslingen skulle gå att öppna och stänga och skruv eller lim skulle inte användas i konstruktionen. Arbetet innefattade inte kapslingens yttre design som skall utföras i ett senare skede. Kapslingen skulle uppfylla de krav som finns uppställda för klassningen IPX7.Nexus Marines navigationssystem och nuvarande sortiment studerades för att ge en bild av vilka funktioner som kapslingen skulle innefatta och i vilken miljö den skulle användas.

This paper is partially a literature study of human error and interruptions and partially an investigation of pilots and Air Traffic Control. The aim of the investigation was to find out where interruptions occur and how to reduce or eliminate them. The objective of this paper was to investigate what type of interruptions pilots and ATC deals with and during which phases they occur. The paper has revealed that private pilots causes more interruptions for ATC personnel than commercial pilots. The cause for this is probably the less experienced private pilot and the fact that Swedish is used before English by private pilots in communication with ATC.
