Borderlands. A study of the aesthetic-practical environment, its pedagogical and therapeutical properties based on the outline of two practices/institutions: the workshops at Hagastiftelsen and the bookbindery at the Kristofferschool. The perspective on education, pedagogy and therapy taken is an existential one where the main aims of an educational-therapeutic intervention is to support biographical development and integrity. In the process action research in my own bookbinding workshop as well as hermeneutic research at the workshops at Hagastiftelsen where adults with autism and other neuropsychological disorders work have been the sources of primary empirical data. Secondary sources are patient-histories written by Oliver Sacks as well as autobiographical narratives of some adults with autism.

The aim of this university paper was to understand how eight former clients at Staple reformatory had experienced their stay there. The clients at Staple are young people between 13-20 years old, both boys and girls.The basic questions were: What picture do the clients have of the treatment they received?What has been, from their perspective, the most important during their stay? Do the clients think the time spent at Staple has helped them? And how do they describe their change, if there was any?We gathered the information from the youngsters with qualitative interviews based on a manual divided into covering different themesWe found that the time at Staple had been very positive for all the former clients that we interviewed. They described the relations with the staff at Staple as central for their rehabilitation. The most important task for the people that work there is to set a good example for the client, and to be role models.

The purpose of this paper is to describe and analyze two factors contributing to child labor in Ghana, one of the world's largest producers of cocoa. These two factors are: poor countries economic and political dependency on the rich countries, political leader?s ambitions and decisions. At Volvo Cars Torslanda's paint shop there is a requirement to in a fast and effective way get an overview of the plants capacity. I den här rapporten redogör jag för framställandet av en 3d-visualiserad interaktiv monteringsanvisning till företaget Leine & Linde i Strängnäs (här efter 3d-anvisning). Företaget tillverkar pulsgivare som används till att mäta rotationshastighet och vinklar på axlar i rörelse.Tidigare var det möjligt för företaget att ge direktsupport till kunderna via telefon, men eftersom företaget expanderar så ökar även antalet supportärenden. Därför var behovet stort av tydliga monteringsanvisningar för att avlasta de ingenjörer som stod för supporten.Jag har med hjälp av intervjuer undersökt vilka moment i monteringen som är kritiska för produktens funktion samt har hög felprocent hos företagets kunder. Därefter har jag tillverkat en 3d visualiserad interaktiv monteringsanvisning som utprovats i jämförelse med företagets befintliga pappersmanual.Arbetet ska inte ses som en generell undersökning av 3d-anvisningar, utan som specifik för montering av Leine & Lindes pulsgivare.Resultatet pekar på en viss tidsvinst samt en ökad formförståelse och positiv upplevelse för målgruppen..

Vår målsättning med detta examensarbete var att ta fram en nödbogseringsmanual till skolfartyget Calmare Nyckel. Denna skulle vara helt i enlighet med de regler och riktlinjer som fanns tillgängliga och underlätta beslutsfattandet för besättningen i situationer som kräver nödbogsering. Projektbeställare var Bengt Karlsson, befälhavare på Calmare Nyckel, och efter ett inledande möte sattes arbetet i gång då i form av ett projektarbete inom ramen för examensarbete. Vi har baserat manualen på i första hand aktuell lagstiftning och riktlinjer men också på andra fartygs nödbogseringsmanualer vi bedömde som bra.Arbetet förflöt enligt utsatt tidsplan och det slutgiltiga resultatet blev väl utfört enligt oss och projektbeställaren.Calmare Nyckel är nu utrustad med en fullt fungerande nödbogseringsmanual som vi med säkerhet kan säga uppfyller alla tillämpliga krav som ställs på en sådan. Vår förhoppning är att manualen aldrig kommer att behöva användas i skarpt läge, men däremot regelbundet fungera som underlag i övnings- och utbildningssyfte..

Background: Men that have gone through treatment for prostate cancer may lose their sexuality as result of treatment. The sexual ability might symbolize manliness, despite age and sexual activities. Aim: The aim of the literature study was to describe; Influence on sexuality and the daily life for men with prostatecancer and their experience of informationneeds. Method: The material for the literature study was searched through databases; 13 scientific articles were selected and two articles through manual search, all 15 articles were examined. Result: Five categories were found in the result of the literature study; physical dimension, emotional/mental dimension, social/practical dimension and informationneeds.

Todays board game manuals have many shortcomings. One of them is that they are not always adapted to the game's target audience.Adapting the language and shape of a game manual for the the target group children, can save time for both parents and teachers, and give the children a chance to conquer the game by themselves. In addition, playing board games can lead to children developing other important properties such as problem solving and independence.This study found that the game manuals inconsistency, tone and the way they adress the reader makes it difficult for children to grasp the content. Many game manuals do not speak directly to the reader, and often describes gameplay in a passive way, which has been shown by this study.This study has resulted in 12 guidelines for writing game manuals for children. In addition, they have been tested with a sample study.

As the staffing agency business is rapidly growing and suffering from accidents resulting in higher sick leave than in other businesses, it is of great interest to analyze which responsibilities prevail between the customer companies and the staffing agencies, when it comes to working environment for hired staff.The purpose of this essay is to clarify the distribution of responsibilities between customer companies and staffing agencies, regarding working environment. I would also like to analyze which consequences this distribution of responsibilities may lead to.To be able to answer these questions, I have chosen to use the legal dogmatic method together with the sociology of law method. I have studied legal sources, literature and also interviewed three persons who are active within the staffing agency business; one person from the Swedish Work Environment Authority, one person from the employers? side and one person from the employees? side.The conclusion of my survey is that the SAM-responsibility is divided equally between staffing agencies and customer companies, since the customer company who hires staff is equated with an employer. The employer must also ensure that there is an organized work adaptation and rehabilitation function within the company.

Science Park Jönköping believes that there is an untapped potential in existing industry in the form of ideas that are never commercialized.
