In this exam paper, a text analysis has been conducted in the context of ethnicity, examining the most popular library books borrowed by children between the ages of 9-12 years old. The bookshave been selected at two different libraries, located in two different socioeconomic areas. The aim is to examine whether ethnicity plays a role in the choice and content of literature in the two areas. The analysis takes into account class, sex and gender, all of which combine in the context of ethnicity. The framework within which I have based my questions are; In the context of ethnicity, is there a difference in the content of the most borrowed children's books at the two libraries located in areas of diverse socioeconomic background, is the choice of literature affected by the area in which library visitors live and is the content of the most borrowed books specific to what children is each particular area can identify with ? Having analysed the most popular books at both libraries, it has been concluded that there are differences in the two areas when it comes to children's choice of literature.

Repositioning is a process that today is necessary for virtually all brands at some point during its lifetime and is about to change a customer's perception of a brand name, by changing its associations. The goal is to create a new, stronger position for the existing brand.

Denna studie undersöker hur minskad anonymitet kan förändra sättet människor skriver kommentarer på YouTube-videor. YouTube begärde nyligen att användarna skulle ange sina fullständiga namn. Användare är ännu inte skyldiga att ändra sitt användarnamn, men om de inte gör det ombes de att svara på varför de väljer att ha kvar sitt alias. För att undersöka detta lät vi först användare svara på en enkät för att se vad de tycker om att vara anonym kontra att ge ut sitt riktiga namn, och om att ge sitt riktiga namn gör dem mer uppmärksamma kring deras sätt att kommentera på YouTube. Sedan, för att se vad som verkligen händer i kommentarsfälten, gick vi igenom ett antal kommentarer för att hitta mönster i hur ett alias kontra ett riktigt namn relaterar till processen att skriva negativa kontra positiva kommentarer.

Problem: Which factors affect customer satisfaction in a non-physical bank relation? Purpose: The purpose with this thesis is to study what creates customer satisfaction in a non-physical bank relation. We look at this by conducting a case study in which we studied the opinion of customers who uses the e-bank at FöreningsSparbanken. Method: We have used a qualitative data method through which we have received answers from our respondents, these we have interpreted to form information, which we have used in our analysis. In our empirical study we have used a case study in which we have chosen to interview both customers and co-workers to get an answer to our problem.

The society in which we live is controlled by various kinds of rules, both written and unwritten. These rules tell us not only how we should act as humans but also how we should act as women and men. Adults teach their children the rules of the society in various ways, but they also act as model figures. Children are influenced by conscious and unconscious actions and also by activities performed by the adults. Furthermore, adults write children?s books which bring the essential content into children?s lives.

During 2006 several new opportunities appeared on the market, giving the homeowners more of a choice in what way to sell their homes. Youth unemployement in Sweden is at an all-time high, a fifth of all university and college students live in poverty and the number of young on welfare is increasing. This study attempts to answer the question of how youth deprivation has been made possible as a consequence of political action, focusing on youth unemployment.I critically examine the role of the Swedish government, the Swedish Labour Organisation (LO), and the various government departments through text analysis, in order to answer the question of how the current discourse on youth position in the labor market. Because youth unemployment is not an isolated phenomena the analysis covers several policy areas, such as education policy, labor market regulation and housing policy. I use discourse theories drawn from Laclau and Mouffe to expose how language is used as an instrument of political power.I conclude that the current situation is a result of policy choices where the young have fallen behind due to lack of political organization. Their situation is not problematized to the required degree and is often explained on an individual level rather than on a structural level..

At the turn of the century 18/1900 Swedish law looked upon young people as being adults at about the age of 15. At 15, the young person had left school, had his first employment and provided for himself and also had been confirmed to full membership of the Swedish State Church. Thus he was to be considered an adult and responsible for his actions. Parents, society/school and Church had done what was expected of them and now it was up to the 15-years old to live according to the laws and to be punished if the laws were broken. Over the following hundred years, at the time of the millennium, Swedish society changed a lot.

Residential estates are created without any adaptation to the users who will use them. Clients wouldprofit on involving users in an early project stage to create housing estates adapted to the user?s needsand wishes. Clients of the housing estates that require missions from consultants should realize that noone exclusive can represent other people's needs, regardless of the theoretical expertise they possess. TheSwedish million programme in the 1970s is an example of how objective expertise gained control, whichled to the creation of outdoor environments where few wanted to stay and live.

Polisens värdegrund är i dagsläget en het fråga och något som diskuteras inte bara inom polisen och i media utan även av allänheten. När en video uppdagades där poliser vid en insats i Rosengård 2008 uttalade sig nedvärderande om personer med invandrarbakgrund blev frågan alltjämt mer aktuell och i och med att polisen 2009 lanserade sin nya värdegrund är det lätt att ställa sig frågan hur det står till med polisers värderingar. Den här rapporten tar sikte på att titta på möjliga förklaringar till polisernas uttalanden och vad värdegrunden kan bidra med för att sådana saker inte ska upprepas. Teorin om Social konstruktionism förklarar uttalandena som ett svar på uppfattad aggression gentemot poliserna själva eller en för dem en närstående part. Teorier kring pliktetik visar på att uttalandena kan vara ett resultat av en outtalad, missriktad pliktetisk känsla som gjort poliserna osäkra på vad för slags attityd som ingår i deras arbete.

Den aktuella uppsatsen är en kvalitativ studie baserad på intervjuer med sex kvinnor i varierandeålder som varav fem arbetar i offentliga tjänstesektorn, Högskolan i Jönköping och JönköpingsKommun och en i privata tjänstesektorn. Vad som utöver detta förenar dessa kvinnor är derasbrinnande engagemang i sitt arbete. Utifrån den av intervjupersonerna lämnade empiriskainformation analyseras begreppen infostress och identitet utifrån en organisations aspekt. Analysentar sin utgångspunkt i framförallt Asplunds teori om social responsivitet och hur denna ligger tillgrund för att individen drabbas av utbrändhet. Jag har också använd mig av Gidens begrepp omrutiniseringen av vardagen för att analysera hur det här begreppet bidrar till skapandet avsammanhållen identitet.

The purpose of this paper is to study how people without home experience social services and how they experience their space of action when they meet social services. In order to answer these questions, a qualitative approach has been used. The empirical material consists of five interviews with people who have contact with social services because they are homeless. To support my analysis of the space of action for the persons being interviewed, I?ve used two theoretical perspectives, power analysis by Michel Foucault and Rational Choice.

Syftet med den genomförda studien var att beskriva och analysera hur lärare och elever menar att metoden ?Att skriva sig till läsning, via dator? påverkar skriv- och läsinlärning utifrån ett sociokulturellt perspektiv, samt att beskriva vad eleverna har för uppfattning om att skriva och läsa. Metoden innebär att eleverna lär sig skriva och läsa via dator. I undersökningen ingick fyra lärare som arbetar i F-3 samt åtta elever från dessa åldersgrupper, som alla jobbar med denna metod. Jag valde att göra kvalitativa intervjuer för att kunna beskriva och analysera deras uppfattningar.

This study focuses on single peoples construction of their lifes in relation to normative heterosexual coupledom. It is based on five interviews made with single women and men at the age of 24 to 51 who live by themselves. The queer theory which puts the heteronormativity in question is used as a theoretical framework. Discourse psychology functions as an analytic approach. It focuses on the use of language in the construction of reality in a world of determinant discourses.

The purpose was to study what significance communication has for the psychosocial health of elderly deaf people who live in old peoples homes. I also explored how communication works between the staff.- How do the staff feel the communication works between members of the staff and between the staff and the residents?- How do the staffs think that the staffs' knowledge of the culture of the deaf community and sign language affects the psychological health of the residents?- What changes have the staff noticed in the residents since they moved to the ward?In order to accomplish study this area I have used semi-structured qualitative interviews and observations.The main conclusion of this paper was that the possibility to communicate in ones own language was fundamental for the psychosocial health of the residents. The people I interviewed expressed that communication between the residents and the staff worked well, but communication was a problem between the staff members. Knowledge of the culture of the deaf and sign language, within the staff, had a positive influence on the psychosocial health of the residents.
