Process standardization is a topic that has generated a lot of research and literature. At first, the focus was on production; today processes are used in all different kind of business areas.The aim of this study has been to analyze how processes can be applied on development businesses and how IT systems affect the result of the process. To accomplish this, we have asked questions such as what standardization is in a development process? Why are the processes standardized? What difficulties can appear with standardization? And how the IT-systems affect the result of the process?To answer these questions, we have preformed a case study on Saab. Saab is a well know Swedish company who are working with a project called the GMS-project, where they develop processes to cover the whole company´s business areas.The literature gives the reader an understanding of processes and standardization.

Background: When a child ends up in a hospital the whole family will be affected. The family?s situation can be turned upside down and the daily life can be affected. The nurse needs to have a holistic approach when caring for the child and the rest of the family. For the nurse to be able to provide personalized information and care, they need a relationship with the child and family.

The purpose of this study is to facilitate sustainable building by the use of BIM. The goal is to determine which aspects of sustainable building, which can be analyzed mainly with BIM tools, but also other aids.The study is based on literature studies and interviews. The literature review examines aspects important for sustainable building by studying environmental certification systems applicable in Sweden, as well as the BIM tools available on the market to analyze these aspects. The literature also includes the concepts of BIM and sustainability in order to provide a clearer view of its meaning. The interviews have brought the study's overall understanding of the industry and guidance on the subject.The results are presented in a table, where the aspects relevant to sustainable building are listed.

The aim with this thesis is to highlight components regarding small children?s reading environment in preschool and see how these affect their meeting with literature. The study is based on J. A. Appleyard?s theory on man?s development as a reader.

The purpose with this final paper was to examine how the collaboration between parents and teachers can manifest itself. With collaboration, we mean the dialogue that has to exist between parents and teachers in regards to e.g. how well informed the parents are about the regulated principles on which the education plan is built on, and in which way they can take part in and influence the system. This is to empathize on the fact that a good collaboration between parents and teachers help create a good foundation for the pupil?s ability to learn.The method that we have used are questionnaires given to parents and teachers along with studies of literature both as means of furthering our studies as well as a basis for the design of the questionnaires.

Vid en förändring är det viktigt för ledningen att använda sig av kommunikation som ett redskap för att öka möjligheten att uppnå en framgångsrik förändring.Syfte: Studiens syfte är att med utgångspunkt i en empirisk studie, avseende anställdas uppfattning av kommunikation mellan ledning och anställda vid ett förändringsarbete, vidareutveckla en analysmodell för organisationsförändring.Metod: Den metod som använts i studien är av kvalitativ karaktär och består av intervjuer av anställda som har varit med om olika förändringar inom olika organisationer.Resultat: Genom den empiriska undersökningen tillsammans med teorigenomgången visar resultaten att en organisationsförändring medför olika reaktioner, både positiva och negativa, hos de anställda. Studiens resultat visar även att det är viktigt att använda sig av en kommunikationsstrategi genom hela förändringsprocessen. Med hjälp av denna strategi kan de anställdas negativa reaktioner reduceras och de positiva förstärkas. Vidare framgår det i resultatet att individen i en organisation har en avgörande roll för hur effektiv förändringsarbetet blir.

This essay covers the subject of children with language disorders. We are two educators writing an experience-based essay on our preschool experiences and the literature with the subject of speaking disorders and verbal development. The main focus of this essay is how educators can recognize and stimulate children with language disorder. The starting point in the essay is two experience-based events from preschool which tells of two different boys, aged three and four. Both boys have some kind of verbal disorder and one of them also has Down´s syndrome.

AbstractThe aim of this literature review was to describe the experience and needs of sudden bereaved family members who lost a loved one in a sudden and unexpected death. The aim   is furthermore to depict the experience of unexpected and sudden death from the nurse´s point of view. Method: The literature review study has been carried out with a descriptive design. The result of the study was based on 14 scientific articles with quantitative and qualitative approach. The articles were searched in the databases PubMed and Cinahl and through manual search.Results: A majority of close relatives that experience a sudden bereavement are dissatisfied with the way they have been encountered by the staff.

Människor med autism lever i ett ständigt kaos. Därför är den viktigaste pedagogiska principen när man arbetar med människor med autism att strukturera och ordna omvärlden, att strukturera kaoset.Syfte: Syftet med rådande undersökning är att utifrån löpande aktiviteter i daglig verksamhet för personer med autism lyfta fram och analysera de olika specialpedagogiska metoderna man använder.Metod: Studien har en kvalitativ ansats för att uppnå sitt syfte. De empiriska undersökningarna, vilka bestod av intervjuer och observationer, har utförts i daglig verksamhet för personer med autism.Resultat och diskussion: Denna studie visar att man i den aktuella dagliga verksamheten använder sig av specialpedagogiska metoder för att underlätta de problem som människor med autism har med social interaktion, kommunikation och fantasi.Studien visar också att de specialpedagogiska metoderna i vissa sammanhang brister. Detta gör det då personalen genomför aktiviteter som bland annat går ut på social interaktion, vilket inte gynnar personer med autism då de har stora svårigheter med social interaktion. Därtill visar studien att personalen har en oerhört stor roll i arbetet med människor med autism.

Detta är en studie om det går att använda vampyrer som inspirationskälla i undervisningen på högstadiet. Syftet är att besvara följande frågeställningar:Hur kan vampyrtemat motiveras och användas i klassrummet med skräcklitteratur som Dracula (1897) och Om jag kunde drömma (2005), som är första delen i Twilight serien, som utgångspunkt?Vilka modeller inom litteraturundervisning finns att tillämpa för vampyrtemat?För att besvara frågeställningarna har närläsning använts som metod. Resultatet visar att vampyren med all rätt kan användas som inspirationskälla i undervisningssyfte. Studien visar att man måste introducera skräcklitteratur med försiktighet och användandet av olika modeller är viktigt för att nå fram till samtliga elever.

Success in treatment with platinum-based chemotherapy against different types of cancer tumors is limited by side-effects such as hearing loss which can have a large impact on the individual`s quality of life. It is of great importance to continue with studies that address this complex of problems.Objective: The aim of this literature review is to investigate the impact of platinum-based chemotherapy on hearing in children and adolescents treated for different types of cancer.Method: A descriptive review of literature was made based on sources from 15 different studies on the impact of platinum-based chemotherapy on hearing in the target group.Results: The survey of the studies shows that platinum-based chemotherapy causes incidence of hearing loss by differing degree in the target group. Dosage of a platinum-based substance appeared to be the most significant factor. Treatment with both cisplatin and carboplatin was more ototoxic than treatment with only one of these. Greater risk for hearing loss was to a higher degree observed in younger children.

Vi fick av företaget Cardo i uppdrag att analysera deras mentorprogram, vilket ingick i deras managementprogram, CIMP 2005. Då deltagarna hade olika bakgrund och erfarenhet och därmed olika förutsättningar, bestod vårt uppdrag av att analysera och finna eventuella skillnader mellan deltagare som fått utbildning och handledning jämfört med dem som inte fått detta. Vårt syfte var att med utgångspunkt i deltagarnas upplevelser av mentorprogrammet, analysera deltagarnas reflektiva lärande, utifrån både ett adept- och mentorperspektiv. Med denna utgångspunkt valde vi att använda oss av ett kvalitativt angreppssätt med en empirisk och en teoretisk del. Den empiriska delen inleddes med en kort e-postintervju till samtliga deltagare.

Uppsatsen bygger på en kvalitativ intervjustudie med elever i år 9, i syfte att få dessa elevers syn på vad framgång är och vad det innebär att vara framgångsrik, samt vilken roll skolan spelar för att nå framgång och att bli framgångsrik. Resultaten har ställts mot relevanta utbildningssociologiska och pedagogiska teorier. Studiens resultat visar att framgång är när man når de egna målen, att betygen är viktiga för att komma in på det gymnasieval man gör, men att det finns centrala förmågor och kompetenser som betygen inte mäter. Sådana förmågor/kompetenser är t.ex. förmågan att skapa relationer.

AimThe purpose of this study is to investigate if there is any variance between masculine and feminine physical education teachers leadership.Are men more authoritarian than woman in their education? Do the influence of pupils have something to do with the gender of the teacher?s? Do the pupils respect masculine physical education teachers any different compound to feminine teachers?MethodWe have studied relevant literature that consider masculine and feminine leadership. The choice was to work with senior compulsory school. We choose the community of Botkyrka, through comfort choice. The criterion for the teachers were that they would have a swedish physical education and have been working at least for 4 years.
