Bakgrund Den äldre befolkningen lever allt längre och den kroniska sjukdomen diabetes typ 2 blir allt mer förekommande.Behandlingen av diabetes typ 2 består till stor del av råd om livsstilsförändringar som fysisk aktivitet och rekommendationer om kostvanor i kombination med perorala läkemedel och i vissa fall injektioner med insulin. Samtidigt som den äldre personen har diabetes typ 2 kan individen även ha andra sjukdomar, detta ställer höga krav på den enskilda individen och dialogen mellan sjuksköterskan och patienten. Vården bör därför öka sin förståelse för äldre personers upplevelser av att leva med diabetes typ 2Syfte Att belysa äldre personers upplevelser av att leva med diabetes typ 2Metod Litteraturstudien är grundad på tio kvalitativa vetenskapliga artiklar. Artiklarna söktes och valdes från databaserna Pub Med, CINAHL plus with full text samt SWE PubResultat Äldre personers upplevelser presenteras i två huvudteman med respektive subteman. Att som äldre leva med diabetes: upplevdes på olika sätt i kroppen från person till person.

We are currently more aware than ever about the impact of food on our health, but in the same time this trend put more pressure on the food retailers to do as much as possible to help their customers manage their weight and be healthy in general. This study aims to examine the corporate social responsibility for consumer health in food retailing, in which ways the companies promote healthy eating; in what extent they do it and also the motives for companies for corporate responsibility. The empirical study is limited to the market leading companies in Sweden, Coop and ICA, because the performance of the leading companies puts them in the strongest position to profit from shifting consumer trends, grow revenues and penetrate new markets and also enable them to make a strong case for the effectiveness of voluntary action, obviating the need for government intervention. A qualitative method was used in this study to get an accurate understanding how the food retailers take social responsibility for consumers health. The study is based on interviews with experts in the food retailers Coop and ICA, and the companies reporting in this area, annual reports, corporate responsibility reports and websites.

The media is one of the largest contributors to this socialization and therefore we felt it necessary to study two, critically acclaimed, media outlets and shed some light on their portrayals of gender. We chose to study Filter and Fokus, two social magazines with close to a corresponding amount male as female readers and a reputation of being modern and free of prejudice.

The construction of buildings and paved surfaces changes the natural water balance.Precipitation generates surface runoff and storm water instead of infiltrating into the soil.Storm water has come to be considered as a major source of pollution in lakes and streams inthe vicinity of urban areas. Reduction of pollutants in storm water is a key action in order toprotect sensitive recipients and maintain high water quality. Storm water is traditionallytransported by storm sewers to the nearest recipient. In recent years the approach to stormwater management has changed; storm water should primarily be disposed of on site, throughlocal disposal of storm water, LOD. LOD is created by a combination of the function ofseveral smaller local facilities and the general sewer system.

En konsument blir ständigt påverkad av olika intryck i en butik där produkter slåss om uppmärksamhet och försöker att särskilja sig från konkurrenter. En produkt som trängs med flera andra på butikshyllan är tidskrifter, där antal titlar på den svenska marknaden har ökat med 40 procent de senaste tio åren. Det har tidigare forskats kring vilka färger som sägs påverka människor i köpsituationer, så som att rött är en bra färg för att intressera en konsument, men detta betyder inte nödvändigtvis att det leder till ett köp. Vad är det då som intresserar konsumenten när det gäller färg? Vilka färger på ett tidskriftsomslag är det som intresserar en målgrupp mest respektive minst och varför är det så? Finns det ett samband mellan vilka färger som intresserar målgruppen och de färger som faktiskt leder till köp? Den här studien undersöker hur färg på tidskriftsomslag påverkar en konsument, både gällande associationer, känslor och köpbehov. Problemen med fuktskador i byggnader är många och kostnaderna för att åtgärda problemen är stora. ByggaF är en metod som riktar sig till hela byggprocessen och den dokumenterar, kommunicerar samt säkerställer fuktsäkerheten genom hela den processen. NCC använder sig idag av en egen metod för att säkerställa fuktsäkerheten och den metoden jämförs i detta arbete mot ByggaF. Arbetet inriktar sig mot produktionsskedet av byggprocessen vilket innebär att fuktsäkerhetsarbetet är granskat i det skedet.Syftet med detta examensarbete är att NCC i Umeå ska få en bättre kännedom om vad ByggaF är och hur den metoden kan användas inom byggproduktion. Ytterligare syfte är att visa hur arbetet kan ske för att förebygga fuktskaderisken genom att använda metoden ByggaF, en metod för fuktsäkert byggande.Arbetet är utfört på NCCs byggnation på Öbacka strand etapp 4 och det bygget har fungerat som referens för NCCs fuktarbete.

The interest in gardens and plants is steadily increasing, official statistics show an increase of garden plants and flower consumption, of an annual 3 per cent. Garden centers and market gardens are in great need of development to be able to tackle the prevailing competition, and maintain a steady growth. Many companies are heading for a generation shift and are founding it difficult to find and employ younger managers. The aim of this report is to examine different strategies of garden centers and market gardens through the manager/ owner?s views and opinions about competition, growth and success.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate how Bahamas, a magazine belonging to the antideutsche current in German left-wing politics, acted during a two year period between the summer 2001 and 2003. When explaining the anti-deutsche phenomena and the editors? politics it is common to take the currents own history-writing as a fact, thus presenting the development of the current as a reaction to outside factors and impulses outside. In this thesis it is stressed that the editors are far from only passively reacting, rather the opposite is true. I claim that the editors have a fixed ideology that they strive to implant in to certain parts of the radical left.

Sociala medier har intagit en viktig plats i mångas liv och skärmtid är inte längre automatisk förknippat till faktorer såsom stillasittande samt möjlighet att äta mer. Forskning om levnadsvanor och sociala medier saknas.Syfte: Att undersöka graden av användning av de sociala medierna Facebook och Twitter samt dess samband med de tre olika levnadsvanorna mat-, motions- och sömnvanor.Metod: Deskriptiv, korrelativ tvärsnittstudie i form av en webbaserad enkätundersökning.
