AbstractThe purpose of this paper is to analyze TPL companies, and their collaboration with their customers from a TPL perspective. The paper intends to get a bigger understanding of their collaboration, advantages/disadvantages and how the collaboration can be improved. The foundation for the paper is obtained through questions that have been created from the chosen theories about supply chain, third part logistic (TPL) and Lean production. We have had open interviews with five different conveyers where we have had our questions prepared and during the interviews asked new questions to get more distinct answers. When we subsequently analyzed the empirical material and by chosen theories we have been able to confirm that the collaboration between the TPL companies and their customers is more of a partnership character.

The construction industry is often criticized to be an industry of narrowness and slow of change. The traditional construction process is considered to create gasps of inferior quality, delays and increase of disputes. Meanwhile, productivity is lower compared to other industries and the prices are increasing. In this debate, it has been assumed that the reported figures are monitoring a reflection of reality, but there might be an error in the statistics which suggests that the focus is at the wrong place. A study of the monitoring and the measurements of the results are to consider, instead of spending time and resources on issues and actions The Last Planner System is an executive planning tool which creates a predictable workflow and creating value throughout all the different stages.

Med de premisser att det endast är priset som avgör materialvalet i plåten till väggskenorna såverkar inte höghållfast plåt vara något konkurrenskraftigt alternativ till det befintliga ochmjukare stålet som används i väggskenorna i den befintliga utrustningen.Förslaget på en layout av produktionsutrustning för tillverkning av hyllskenor är en komplett ocheffektiv rullformningslinje som tillverkar väggskenor, hålade U-profiler, som sedan är klara förlackering. Förslaget på produktionslayout innebär utrustningsmässigt ett flöde frånutgångsmaterialet, en haspel för plåtband, en slinga går till inledare, stansning av hålbild,rullformningsdel, riktverktyg och slutligen en sax som kan klippa väggskenorna till önskadlängd. Detta skulle innebära en förbättring i form av en mer resurssnål tillverkning (Lean) för SalsAB. Sals skulle då i stället för som med dagens befintliga system som bygger på inköp avtillverkade U-profiler då på ett kontrollerat och mer effektivt sätt själva kunna styra och utförahela produktionen av hyllskenor. Produktionen skulle då ske genom att tillverka väggskenornahelt på egen hand från hasplad plåt.

In relation to the development of IT-products it is very important that the software supplier is aware not only of the target group but also the field of application. Usability should characterize the whole IT-design process as, in relation to this context, design includes more than merely those aspects which are visible to and thus can be interpreted by the naked eye. The study examines the specific qualities and properties that substantiate the usability and the demands that a customer rightfully expects from an IT-product. The user and the customer are highlighted in the same context in order to demonstrate that it is through the customer that an IT-product is defined as being useful. Thus, from this perspective, the user and customer can be considered as being the same person.

In this paper I will examine the five Pussy Riot music videos that the group has published online on their official You Tube website. I will examine them through a ?gender lens? looking at their visual representations of gender vis-à-vis the hegemonic gender discourse in Russia. In addition I will examine their potential effects and if/how these visual representations can be understood as resistance.In my study I will take on a constructionist approach and the main theories being used to understand and analyze the Pussy Riot music videos are discourse- and representational theory including deconstruction, performativity and the social construction of gender as well as ?in-between? and deviant representations.

This master thesis in library- and information science is about the intermediary function of the library room from an environment-psychological point of view. Young people are a group in society who often reduce their visits to the library when growing up. There are lots of reasons for this maybe more attractive activities occur outside the library doors, making the young choose not to use the library. But if the library interior is attractive in itself, and has a welcoming atmosphere, there might be a change and the young people may well choose to pay the library a visit. What is important to young people how do they want their library room to look? Our purpose is to see how the physical environment affects young people in libraries.

Mixade vårdsalar, det vill säga där man blandar män och kvinnor, är något som förkommer på sjukhusen runt om i landet och bör uppmärksammas utifrån patientens perspektiv då denne är i beroendeställning av sjukvården och dess vårdmiljö. Det blir allt vanligare att sjukhusen idag har mixade vårdsalar, detta oftast på grund av tids- och platsbrist. Studiens syfte var att beskriva patienters upplevelser av att vårdas på mixad vårdsal på en akut sjukvårdsavdelning inom nedre kirurgi. Studien var kvalitativ med fenomenologisk ansats. En intervjustudie med femton patienter som hade vårdats på mixad vårdsal genomfördes och i resultatet framkom att majoriteten av patienterna upplevde det positivt att vårdas på mixad vårdsal.

Det för att kunna utveckla sina processer enligt metodiken Lean produktion för att hitta enklare och effektivare arbetssätt och kunna erbjuda kunderna rätt kvalitet till rätt pris. This report describes a study of how educationalists, from one preschool group, approach to and respond to children ?s creative activity in preschool. To answer the survey ?s purpose I used four research questions, which is the following:-What function do the educationalists give the creative activity in the working?-How do they see the importance of thecreative activity for thechild and its development?-How doeducationalists considerthat theyrespond to the child's creative activity?-Is thereany norms surrounding creative activity in preschool?The theoretical base of the study is rooted in the sociocultural perspective, where creative activity and visual arts can be seen as mediating cultural tools. The method is a qualitative interview of five preschooleducationalists.

Idag är Suzuki Garphyttan AB (SG) en del av Suzuki Metal Industry Group vilket är ett Japanskt företag. SG är världsledande inom tillverkningen av avancerad fjädertråd som används till olika fordonsapplikationer. Kärnverksamheten hos SG är tillverkning och försäljning av ventilfjädertråd, plattråd och profiltråd, oljehärdad tråd, rostfri fjädertråd samt fjädrar. SG har tillverkning av bland annat ventilfjädrar till lastbilar i Fjäderfabriken som är beläget inom fabriksområdet i Garphyttan. Fjäderfabriken genomför ett förbättringsarbete med avsikt att lägga om sin funktionella produktion till linjeproduktion.

The waste of material is a big expense for manufacture companies caused by lack of quality. The cost by lack of quality often totaled to a big percentage share of the turnover when all cost related to lack of quality is included. New manufacturing systems like Lean production or Just In Time demands better internal quality for the manufacturer. To make those manufacturing system with small and none buffer stock successful the quality improvement continuously have to be developed.Measuring of waste of material in Bubs Candy?s factory where not simple due to the products does not have a permanent weight during the manufacturing process.

As a result of global competition, companies within the automotive industry are required to improve their production systems to achieve sustainable and competitive production. To attain operational excellence, companies have adopted concepts like Lean and World Class Manufacturing (WCM).In order to deliver, companies need to increase the availability and reliability of production equipment. This demands focus on both operational and strategic maintenance, and efficient equipment acquisition and management. The main objective of this thesis is to identify processes and success factors that are necessary for improved maintenance performance. By conducting a case study and by performing a literature review, the following has been studied: 1) how companies within the automotive industry work with maintenance and maintenance strategies, 2) implementation of maintenance strategies, and 3) new acquisition and spare parts management for maintenance. The results show that basic maintenance concepts and related terms are well defined in the literature.

Hållbar utveckling och globalisering börjar bli alltmer betydelsefullt för företagen med tanke på den dramatiska ökningen av konsumtionen. Förbrukningen av fossilt bränsle är en betydande faktor som har lett till konsumtionsutvecklingen och resurs överutnyttjande. Sveriges siktar på att ha fossilfria transporter till år 2030, vilket sätter en stor press på företagen när det gäller produktion, tillverkning, forskning och utveckling. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka sambandet mellan ekonomisk tillväxt och hållbar utveckling, samt hur ett företag som Scania kan växa ekonomiskt och fortsätta arbeta hållbart. Studien baseras på kvalitativ metod som innebär närhet till källan forskaren hämtar information ifrån, för att få djupare förståelse av komplexiteten i problemet som undersöks.

Bygglov handlar om att väga enskilda intressen mot allmänna intressen i hur vår omvärld skase ut. Tolkningen av hur lagen ska efter levas faller på bygglovshandläggaren, dennes chefoch däröver nämnden. Att handlägga ett bygglov kräver kunskaper i både PBL (plan- ochbygglagen) och BBR (boverkets byggregler), rätt instanser ska kontaktas samt remisser ochgrannhöranden skickas i de fall de behövs. En handläggare måste kunna läsa och tolkalagtexter, kartor och detaljplaner som ibland är av äldre datum och svårtydda.Det här arbetet tar upp hur kommunerna arbetar med bygglovshandläggningen och hurkunderna upplever kommunernas arbete.
