Assessment of the level of the pupils´ knowledge and understanding are important parts of teaching. There are diverse ways to do this and many different tools to use.The purpose of this study is to explore, through qualitative interviews, how five teachers work with assessment. The focus lies on both how they work with assessment in general and how they use the assessment tools called »LUS» and »Nya språket lyfter!». The pupils´ participation in their own education is an important part of the Swedish curriculum, which is why the study also focuses on how the informants work to enable the pupils´ participation in the assessment and in their education.The informants all think that both assessment and the pupils´ participation in the assessment are important, since teaching is easier when the pupils are aware of what they need to know and learn. Many of the informants express that time is an issue when it comes to making the assessment trustworthy.

The literature review examines aspects important for sustainable building by studying environmental certification systems applicable in Sweden, as well as the BIM tools available on the market to analyze these aspects. The literature also includes the concepts of BIM and sustainability in order to provide a clearer view of its meaning. The interviews have brought the study's overall understanding of the industry and guidance on the subject.The results are presented in a table, where the aspects relevant to sustainable building are listed.

This study was conducted at a special school for children with autism and developmental disabilities. The study consists of three interviews where pedagogues have different experiences of working with children in need of special support. The aim is to get an idea of how teachers think about working with children autism, but above all to find out what methods and educational tools that are used, and why they are used to best motivate students to a rewarding education. Sense of coherence (SOC) is a central concept and a theoretical basis of the study relating to the student to create comprehensibility, manageability and meaningfulness in life. All of these three are essential for the student to find a predictable environment.From the result shows how schools and teachers use different methods and different tools, but both have a focus to help the student find motivation in the learning process.

Under senare årtionden har Lean Production blivit ett allt mer etablerat begrepp inom den moderna industrin när det gäller effektivisering av verksamheter. Målet med Lean Production är att kunna erbjuda kunden högsta kvalitet till lägsta pris, på kortast möjliga tid, genom att ständigt arbeta med att eliminera slöseri. Genom att minimera eller eliminera aktiviteter som inte skapar något värde för kunden kan flöden bli mer effektiva och kräva mindre resurser.Ett företag som arbetar med att sammankoppla Lean-principer med sin logistiska verksamhet är Wibax AB; ett företag inom kemikalieindustrin. Företaget har under de senaste åren befunnit sig i en expansionsfas och ett problem är att verksamhetens processer inte har utvecklats i tillräckligt hög takt för att på lång sikt kunna möta den ökade efterfrågan.Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur Lean-principer kan tillämpas för att förbättra fallföretagets arbetsprocesser inom lagerstyrning och materialhantering. Då likheter mellan områdena Lean Production och logistik kunde ses i början av studie var syftet även att undersöka vilka teoretiska kopplingar som kunde hittas mellan områdena.För ett antal av företagets produkter uppfattas arbetsflödet som ineffektivt och kartläggningen av nuvarande arbetsflöde visade att de största problemen är att informationsöverföring sker manuellt mellan ett flertal parallella system, att miniminivåer i lager inte är baserade på statistiska underlag samt att det råder oreda både vad gäller material- och informationshantering.Resultatet av studien visade att många problem var sammanlänkade och att flödet skulle effektiviseras av relativt få åtgärder.

Arbetet syftar till att undersöka möjligheten att med hjälp av moderna arbetssätt få en arbetsgång med ständiga förbättringar inom anläggningsbranschen. Sökandet sker med hjälp av litteraturstudier kring ISO 9000 och LEAN samt studiebesök vid två företag, Hauler&Loaders Arvikafabriken (Volvo Wheel Loaders AB) samt PartnerTech Karlskoga AB. Detta är företag som under tid arbetat med dessa frågor och som nått goda resultat.Det framkommer att ISO 9000 är mycket öppet och inte detaljstyrande men att det finns vinster att hämta genom nyttjande av standarden. Kunder får en bekräftelse på att företaget i fråga har uppnått en god lägstanivå och det certifierande tredjepartsföretaget kan under externa revisioner hjälpa till att förbättra kvalitetssystemet. LEAN däremot är mer handfast även om det precis som ISO 9000 innehåller en stor del vision och filosofi.Studiebesöken har mynnat ut i ett flertal handfasta arbetsmetoder redo att anpassas för tester inom anläggningsbranschen.

At Saab Bofors Dynamics in Linköping missile systems are developed. Through the development, different subsystems are simulated before the manufacturing starts. The results of these simulations have to be visualized to get a meaning.

Atlas Copco Tools develops and manufactures handheld industrial tools. Heat and surface treatments are used to provide the tools with certain properties. There are no routines for the choice of treatment or for how to specify treatment on drawings. Production documents that are sent for production abroad may not be clear enough. Some treatments are known as trademarks and there are no instructions for how to specify these on drawings and in CAD-models.The purpose of this master thesis work is to create recommendations for the procedure of choosing heat and surface treatment.

Den ökade ohälsan skapas av problem som otrygga arbetsförhållanden, en stressigare arbetsmiljö för både fast anställd och tillfällig arbetskraft. Personalens arbetsätt utkristalliseras på många olika sätt i verksamheterna, vilket får konsekvenser för det gemensamma arbetet och dess mål. Följden blir att var och en arbetar utifrån sin troliga teori och det vardagliga "praktiska" görandet tar över arbetet alltmer i verksamheten. Detta försvårar arbetet mot gemensamma mål, visionen om den teoretiska kunskapen har gått förlorad.

The aim of this study is to investigate a number of class teachers' thoughts on the use of information and communications technology (ICT) in early literacy learning. The study has been conducted as a qualitative study, interviewing five teachers with the help of an interview guide. Three central questions were posed.What perception do the teachers have about the use of ICT in their tuition?What perception do the teachers have about the pupils' literacy learning in teaching with ICT tools?What perception do the teachets have about teaching and learning by means of ICT when it comes to pupils with reading and writing difficulties/dyslexia?The overall theoretical basis of the study is Vygotskij's sociocultural theory.In conclusion, the result of the study is as follows.Most class teachers feel that the training they have undergone in ICT education was adequate, but they also call for skill development.Most teachers believe that the use of ICT tools provide opportunities to adapt their teaching to pupils' knowledge level. The teachers' opinion is that ICT in teaching is useful for pupils' progress in early literacy learning.Most teachers also believe that ICT tools in teaching can be of some help for pupils with reading and writing difficulties/dyslexia.One obstacle in helping these pupils is lack of time.Therefore, the majority of the teachers hand these pupils over to special education outside the classroom..

Saab Training Systems (STS) in Huskvarna is manufacturing material for educationalpurposes to armies worldwide. They are now implementing parts of the Lean productionconcept in their organisation.One part of the work with Lean production is to eliminate waste. To be able to identify waste,value stream mapping is a good tool and also what we used in our thesis. To gain a betterefficiency in the production of Personnel Detector Device (PDD) flow was one of our goals.The PDD is a harness used during battle training which registers if the user is being hit by itsenemy.Our work with the thesis started up with a short education in Lean production and in valuestream mapping (VSM). The work proceeded with a VSM of the production flow of the PDD,interviews were made and studies of literature were done to gain greater knowledge of thesubject and solve the task.The VSM resulted in five areas which were followed up out of those six we identified.
