E-utbildning inom idrotten - framtidens utbildningsform?

Education in Swedish sport is mainly based on traditional learning that requires a lot of time and effort, which could be a barrier for trainers since they report a lack of time as a consequence of their commitment as a leader. The Swedish sports movement has noticed some trends that could be seen as influential on the future directions of sport. One of these trends is a changing way of communication where people today communicate to a greater extent with the use of digital technology. The Swedish sports movement has to relate to this and follow the evolution. The use of e-learning has increased in higher education and organizations over the past decades.

I dagens samhälle har det blivit allt viktigare för företag att kommunicera effektivt med olika grupper av intressenter i omgivningen. Börsnoterade företags årsredovisningar och kvartalsrapporter används numera som ett medium där företaget kommunicerar mer än bara finansiell information. Företagen använder detta medium till att kommunicera sina synliga strategier till marknaden. En väl fungerande strategi ligger till grund för att ett företag ska lyckas prestera bra. En framgångsrik strategi måste bland annat kunna förändras då omgivningen förändras.

Since a lot of the power in a professional bureaucracy lays within the operative profession with its strong corporate culture and strong co-workers the executive occupy a weak position. Their power comes from the complexity of the operative professionals work and the difficulties to supervise that work. To avoid conflicts it?s important to make all expectations on the executive equivalent. This can be done by defining the roles of the executives in a philosophy.

Ledarskap för motivation : En kvalitativ studie om chefers perspektiv på ledarskap för motivation

The purpose of this study is to investigate the managers? perspective on leadership in relation to the motivation of the employees by an example of a manning and recruitment agencies. This is implemented by framing of two questions; What kind of leadership can be identified by middle managers to motivate their employees? Which motivation factors are relevant to employees based on the perspective of the managers? To answer the question and identify leadership strategies and motivational factors and the relationship in between, we have conducted eight interviews with persons who hold a middle management position. Through a qualitative investigation we have been able to go into depth and had access to these managers reflections, thoughts and experiences.

There is a common belief that the arts contain knowledge of creativity that can enrich the business world. Similarly, the arts are in need of additional support from the private sector and know-how of business practices. In short, there is a need for mutual understanding. With my background as a dancer paired with my studies at the Stockholm School of Economics I have taken the challenge of bringing the two worlds closer together. By changing a social system, like an organization, it is possible to get a better understanding of it.

Article 4.1(h) in the Rome I regulation establishes which law that will be applicable on contracts concerning financial instruments concluded in multilateral systems. The main problem is that most contracts concluded within these systems have standard clauses which contain a clause on the applicable law. If this is the case, Article 3.1 in the Rome I Regulation is applicable instead. This problem makes it difficult to find a need for article 4.1(h) if it will only be applicable in exceptional cases. I den här kulturhistoriskt inriktade uppsatsen studeras och jämförs Årstafrun Märta Helena Reenstiernas maktposition som hustru och änka. Hon var en adelskvinna som bodde på Årsta Gård från slutet av 1700-talet fram till sin död år 1841. Det primära materialet består av Årstadagböckerna, en dagbokssvit som Årstafrun författade mellan åren 1793-1839. I uppsatsen studeras Årstafrun i äktenskapet och hur hennes position som hustru och husfru bestämde hennes handlingsutrymme. Studien undersöker också vad som hände med husbondemakten när den förflyttades till änkan, var änkemakten en tillgång eller börda?.

The movement of the rider?s hand related to the horse?s behaviour and the stride cycle

One way of signalling commands to the horse during riding is through applying tension on the reins to create bit pressure in the horse?s mouth (Terada et al., 2006; Clayton et al., 2011). The skilfulness of the rider in using the hands when applying bit pressure has consequences both for the horse?s performance and welfare (Manfredi et al., 2010). At the trot there are large vertical deviations of the horse?s body which the rider must adjust and adapt to (Terada et al., 2006) and an unsteady hand due to inability to follow the horse?s movement can be a source of discomfort and conflict behaviour in the horse (Heleski et al., 2009).

Sverigedemokraternas kriskommunikation i samband med ?järnrörsskandalen? : Att inta en offerposition

This paper examines how the Swedish nationalistic political party Sverigedemokraterna communicates regarding the crisis they experienced when the Swedish newspaper Expressen published a few video clips of three, in that time, highly important party members that got in an argument after a late night of drinking. Two of the party members were at the time of the publication the members of the Swedish parliament and all of them had important senior positions in the party. In the argument one of the party members used abusive, offensive, sexist and racist language while all acted threatening and even armed themselves with iron bars from a nearby construction site.The aim of this paper is to examine how the party Sverigedemokraterna conducts their crisis communication, if they apologies and the fashion of the apology. A press conference with the party leader and the most active user of abusive language and also an interview with the second member of parliament who is involved in the argument are studied. The rhetorical arena is used to describe and pinpoint the most important stakeholders in the crisis.

The aim of this study was to explore to what extent homosexual families are represented when a child is given a foster home. The nuclear family has throughout history been assured a stable position both in society as well as in the foster care practice. During the last ten years a homosexual relationship has been legaly accepted through different amendents and it has also been more integrated and accepted in society.

Design Program for Dessie Campus, Wollo University, Ethiopia

A geographical position and its social, cultural and political context as well as climate and specific physical characteristics define the scope for a landscape design project. This has become clearer for us in our master project where we have made a Design Program for the outdoor environment of Wollo University in Dessie, Ethiopia and analysed and reflected on the work and process. The aim for the project has been to design an attractive and functional outdoor environment for the Campus, based on the inventories and the needs and wishes of clients and users. But, the aim has also been for us as landscape architect students to gain a greater knowledge about landscape architecture and the design process by position ourselves outside our usual context. The method has been open and seeking where the site, literature studies, dialogues with people and our own experiences from the field study in Ethiopia has influenced the work. Wollo University is situated 400 kilometers north of Addis Ababa, in a mountainous landscape. It faces problems of heavy rainfall during the summer, soil erosion, a lack of essential facilities, and is still a construction site with empty spaces in-between buildings and infrastructure.

"När jag blir arg brukar jag kalla det för bastuklubbar" : En studie om kvinnor, ledarskap och maktstrukturer inom kulturprojekt

Sverige har internationellt sett ett mycket gott anseende som ett demokratiskt och jämställt land. Större sociala och ekonomiska klyftor mellan folkgrupper är inte något man accepterar här och nästan lika stor del kvinnor som män har egen inkomst och yrkesarbetar. Till skillnad från många andra länder så har svenska kvinnor överlag högre utbildningar än svenska män.Men, det är snarare norm än undantag att mannen är den i vårt samhälle som tjänar mest och oftare innehar chefs- och ledarepositioner. Fler kvinnor arbetar deltid än män, och tre fjärdedelar av dem som arbetar som vikarier är kvinnor. När det gäller löneskillnader så är dessa störst på chefsnivå och genomgående så har kvinnor inte lika hög lön som män för samma arbete och endast 24 procent av landets chefer är kvinnor.
