Background: Students, at a secondary upper school, attending a practical programme have a lower physical capacity than students from theoretical programs. Our physical self-esteem has a great significance for our motivation in being physically active and thereby also for our health. The purpose: of this study is to find out if there is a difference between perceived physical self-esteem and objectively measured physical activity between students attending a practical programme and a theoretical programme. Method: Four classes, in a medium-sized town in the southeast of Sweden, participated in the study, two classes from practical programmes and two classes from theoretical programmes. All the students were in their final year at the upper secondary school, when they were part of the study during the autumn of 2011.

This essay discusses the problems with the high rate of long-term sickness leave among women in Sweden. It is based on interviews with six women suffering from stress-related illness. The results show that these women hardly ever recieved an explicit diagnosis and therefore did not feel that their illness was acknowledged. In the abscense of measurable symptoms they were sometimes stigmatisized and accused of simulating their problems. From this position they tried to legitimize their situation by presenting themselves as respectable women.

Detta medför att detförebyggande omvårdnadsarbetet avseende trycksår även i fortsättning kan vara en mycketangelägen fråga för sjuksköterskan. Syftet i föreliggande studie är därför att belysaomvårdnadsåtgärder som kan utföras i vårdbädden för att förebygga trycksår hos äldre.Litteraturstudie valdes som metod. Sökorden; pressure ulcer, prevention, bed and mattresses,scoles, skin-care, decubitus ulcer, aged och nursing används. För att elektronisk söka relevanta,vetenskapliga artiklar i databaserna CINAHL och MEDLINE.

Abstract: A public service sector in constant reformation is a common phenomenon in Sweden. This also includes the municipal care organisations. A central role in those reformations has the public middle chief who often is the one to implemented reforms to the organiza-tion's staff.This study is examining the role of the public middle manager in care organisations dur-ing the implementation of common ideologies value foundation in a present organisa-tion's reform. The study tries to elucidate in which way the public middle managers in municipal care organisations experience their roles, which expectations the management of the organisation has on their roles and how a present organisation changes inflict on the contents of the role. If the middle manager in a municipal care organisation feels like normative for the personal group is another aspect.There are four concepts used as theoretic framework in the study, organization, imple-mentation and public middle managers in a general aspect and the middle manager in a municipal care organisation in a specific aspect.

The purpose with this essay is to examine the role of landscape photography as a portrayer of nature. The study contains interviews with eight landscape photographers, to find out how they look at tendencies and changes in photography. The essay focuses on the discussion of authenticity and realism in landscape photography. Due to the requirement of nature as something natural and authentic, the landscape photography stands in a special position when it comes to matters of manipulation and influence. On the basis of certain analysis themes, the landscape photographers debate questions such as where landscape photography stands today, and how the future looks for the genre..

Introduktion: För att en räddningsinsats på olycksplats skall lyckas är en väl fungerande kommunikation nödvändig. Kommunikationen har visat sig vara ett vanligt problem vid utvärderingar av allvarliga händelser. Patientsäkerheten kan äventyras om det brister i informationsflödet mellan aktörerna i vårdkedjan. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att undersöka ambulanspersonalens uppfattningar av informationsöverföringen mellan sjukvårdens personal på olycksplats. Studien gjordes för undersöka om det fanns omständigheter som försvårar respektive underlättar informationsöverföringen.

The study aims to investigate how small businesses operate in rural areas are experiencing the possibilities of support from various networks and organizations and that, from a business perspective, and also see which areas that they need more support in to achieve a growing business. The work has been followed by an inductive method, when we initially could not say anything about the empirical results.

The purpose of this essay is to examine how girls groups, particularly in school, can help girls with feelings of stress and pressure they can experience in their everyday life. We also want to examine how girls groups can be used, and explain why they should be held in school and not only in other organizations. The information we?ve gathered comes from books and websites that cover the subject. In addition to this, we?ve also handed out surveys and implemented interviews with both younger girls with girls groups experience, a teacher and a youth recreation leader. The theoretical aspect of this essay stems from two different theories: Labeling theory and Strain theory.

In this paper I have examined how the structure of society affects the characters in the movies of Gus Van Sant, and what there is that characterizes Van Sant as an auteur. I have also looked at the thematics and how the characters develop throughout from his first movie Mala Noche (US 1985) until one of his latest Milk (US 2008). Van Sant is open with his Homosexuality and those perspectives are of major importance for this study. He presents how his characters try to live a normal life in a society that is not made for them. I have chosen to analyze five different movies.

Im Blickfeld meiner Masterarbeit steht die Frage, welche Rolle historische Erfahrungen und Erinnerungen in Migrationsprozessen einnehmen. Es geht dabei um deutsche Frauen, die in der Nachkriegszeit (1945-1960) nach Schweden auswanderten, um eine Stelle als Haushaltshilfe anzutreten und die in der deutsch-protestantischen St. Gertruds Gemeinde in Stockholm eine deutsche Gemeinschaft fanden.    In meiner Untersuchung stellt sich heraus, dass die St. Gertruds Gemeinde nach 1945 eine Blütezeit erlebte. Als folge des Zweiten Weltkrieges hatte die Gemeinde sowohl in Schweden als auch in Deutschland wichtige Aufgaben zu erfüllen.

In this thesis I have discussed about conflict management in school, from a teacher´s perspective. Focus has been on Swedish schools, especially on the teachers who are active in primary school. Several perspectives have been given, including an intercultural approach which has been the most recurrent. The importance of teachers? emotional maturity, knowledge about democracy and values, as well as teacher?s impact by being a sharp leader in different ways are other subjects the essay has touched.

Den här studien har fokus på hur man kan skapa fotorealistiska montage och hur digitaliseringen av fotografi har påverkat fotografiets position som sanningsvittne. Genom en teknisk undersökning har två montage skapats i syfte för att granska tillvägagångssätt i skapandet av fotomontage. Det resultatet visade är att det är möjligt att kombinera fotografier till ett montage, som kan upplevas som fotorealistiskt på ett sömlöst och enhetligt sätt. Med hjälp av tidigare forskning och den tekniska undersökningen drogs slutsatsen att skapandet av sömlösa montage inte är oöverkomligt och att det bara är fantasin som sätter gränser då ett montage kan jämföras med en tavla..

The Swedish Textile industry has since the beginning of the 70-ties moved their production to countries with cheap labour further and further away. The production in the Baltic countries and Asia has become reality for many Swedish manufacturing companies. With today?s technology the communication with remote countries has ceased to be a problem. The difficulties have instead turned out to be more focused on transportation of goods and just in time deliveries to Sweden.
