Från snabbfotade glada amatörer till mindre smidiga proffs- En studie om Experians uppköp av Marknadsanalys
Purpose: The puspose with our essay is to investigate how an acquisition can affect leadership. We want to specialize us by analysing how a leadership and the employees in a smaller company can be affected by an acquisition by a larger organization. We also want to investigate how a good leadership should be in a small company due to an acquisition.Methodology: This essay is based on a qualitative method.Theoretical: We have used theories concerning leadership, theories about small and large organizations and theories about consequences after an acquisition. Empirical foundation: Our empirics are based on stories from our five interviews from employees and leaders in Experian.Conclusions: Consequences can appear due to an acquisition. Only mild consequences appeared in the case of Marknadsananalys.

This essay examines how the author of 1 Peter exhorted Christ-believing slaves and wives in 1 Pet 2:18-3:6, a passage that invites questions about submission, questions that, in contemporary contexts, are oftentimes controversial. The essay also calls attention to the advantages and the complexities of understanding 2:18-3:6 relative to ancient Roman familial and hierarchical structures. A close exegetical analysis of the passage points out a variety of scholarly viewpoints on ?Peter?s? admonitions to slaves and wives. Following the exegetical analysis, attention is given to feminist hermeneutics and to potential uses of this biblical text in contemporary contexts.

Bloggar : En trovärdig marknadsföringskanal?
Vi vill reda ut vilka olika faktorer som kan ha betydelse för bloggar som trovärdig marknadsföringskanal.Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ ansats för att få en djupare förståelse för bloggar som ett marknadsföringsverktyg. Genom en deduktiv metod har vår teoretiska referensram utgjort utgångspunkten för vår empiriska data. Vårt empiriska material har vi samlat in genom sex genomförda personliga intervjuer med bloggrelaterade personer. Därefter har vi ställt vårt resultat i relation till vår teori och utifrån vår frågeställning fört en diskussion.Företag kan inte styra vad bloggaren skriver och det är viktigt att bloggen får behålla sin personliga karaktär, då det styrker trovärdigheten för denne som marknadsföringskanal. Bloggen ska inte verka i säljande syfte, utan mer som rekommendationer till läsarna. Bloggare kan i vissa sammanhang agera som opinionsledare och besitter förmågan att påverka en stor grupp av människor.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the forest managers view of the edu-cation at the School for Forest management at SLU and the first years of em-ployment. Surveys were sent to batches 05/08, 06/09 and 07/10 a total of 136 question-naires were sent out. 80 people answered the survey, this gives a response rate of 59 percent
The former students rated according to a 9-grade scale how satisfied they were with the different courses they had attended during their years as students at the school. The courses in mathematics and statistics got the highest marks with an average of 7.3, while the entry-level course in law only got an average of 4.6.
A major part of the former students had in the questionnaire enquired a leader-ship course and a business course with focus on negotiation techniques during their education.
There is a wide variety of employment opportunities for the graduated students. Timber buyers and forest managers or planners are just a few positions that for-mer students now possess.
The study shows that there is a big difference in the first introduction to a new work place depending on where the student got hired.

The goal of this qualitative essay is to approach the knowledge of people who commit crimes. From a development psychology point of view, questions relating to childhood ang growth are some of the important subjects we choose to discuss. Our purpose is also to reveal the linkage between criminal behavior and different theories of the above mentioned perspective. To bridge the gap between the general and the individual, our survey was based on profound interviews with four inmates in prison. This offer an opportunity to capture the individual´s inner thoughts, feelings and experience about the criminal action.

One of the inspection platforms used to scanfor defects in and around the welds in the reactor vessel is called the T-crawler.The T-crawler operates under water in a radioactive environment by stepping onthe vessel (reactor tank) inner wall using suction cups. Follow the leader- en studie om föräldrarnas tankar angående köp av språkresor
SammandragEF är en erfaren språkresearrangör med verksamhet sedan 40 år tillbaka. Marknadsföringen har fokus på, direktreklam som skickas ut till målsman för ett stort antal av Sveriges tonåringar, och via EF: s officiella hemsida på Internet. Verksamheten kommer att expandera framöver i form av juniorresor för att locka yngre resenärer och därmed förlänga kundens livscykel för språkresor och EF: s övriga produkter.I denna uppsats har vi genomfört en undersökning för att ta reda på vad föräldrar anser om EF och vilka faktorer som är viktiga vid valet av språkresearrangör. Ett frågeformulär delades ut till föräldrar som valt att gå på EF: s informationsmöten i Göteborg, Malmö och Stockholm.Det viktigaste under en språkresa anser föräldrarna är inlärning, ledarens kompetens och en rolig upplevelse. EF lyckas i sin marknadsföring kommunicera detta bra till den aktuella målgruppen.Vidare föreslår vi att ett sätt för EF att utveckla sin marknadsföring för att etablera ett föräldraförtroende i högre grad är att marknadsföra ledarna mer.

The aim of this study is to create an increased understanding of shared leadership and how it takes shape in the relationship between first-line managers in human service organizations. Shared leadership is seen as a complement to the traditional one-man leadership and briefly means that two managers share the role that usually is held by a single leader. The study has a qualitative approach based on semi-structured interviews with managers in human service organizations. The interviews mention the mangers thoughts and experiences about shared leadership and gain approval in the hermeneutic science field. The study is analyzed based on symbolic interactionism where perspectives from the theoreticians Mead and Goffman are used.
Filmberättandets kraft : om att vara pedagog och konstnärlig ledare i skolan
This essay follows a Media Teacher in her work as a coordinator and an artistic leader for a European project called Legalopoli concerning laws and ethics in a senior level school for 13-16 year-olds in Mora, Sweden. The students write film stories about how their characters have to make choices in ethical dilemma situations. Then the learners create interactive computer games together through practical film work. At the same time we can see how the educator also gets into difficult ethical situations, when she is working with the students. This forces her to self-reflection.
Rektor och skolbiblioteket ? en kvalitativ studie av rektorers syn på sin betydelse för skolbibliotekets pedagogiska roll
The aim of this Bachelor´s thesis is to contribute to theunderstanding of the headmaster´s view of his role when it comes to developing the school library and in particular the work of integrating the library into the teaching. The basis is three questions: What views do the headmasters express regarding the libraries´ main functions? What views do the headmasters express regarding their own importance for the school libraries´ pedagogical role? How do the headmasters regard the interaction between teachers and librarians, as to how the interaction works? To get answers to these questions we conducted semi-structured interviews with headmasters of secondary schools. As a theoretical starting point, we used our own taxonomy for headmasters. The basis of our taxonomy are from the points by the ?Svenska biblioteksföreningen? and ?Kungliga biblioteket?, which together form a description of a school library integrated in the school curricula.

Earlier research has shown that generational differences between younger-supervisors and older-workers may cause tensions that lead to team ineffectiveness. There is however still a lack of research in this area. This thesis presents possible tensions that might occur between a younger supervisor and an older worker due to their age and generational affiliation, and how these tensions affect the team dynamics. The empirical data collection was limited to the boundaries of the dental care industry where these generational/age differences between younger supervisor and older worker are common. The thesis looks at the tensions from a qualitative perspective and data was collected in the form of in-depth interviews with selected dentists and nurses.
SJ-syndromet - en fallstudie om en intensiv medierapporterings inverkan på en organisations anställda
Media and social media have been proved to occupy an increased amount of time in people's everyday lives and affect how individuals interpret reality. This phenomenon is referred to as the medialization and its implications on organizations and their members become important to understand. The purpose of this study was therefore to examine how members of an organization under intense scrutiny from the media are affected by this exposure in their everyday work. To gain knowledge about the area a qualitative case study was performed on the Swedish train operator SJ AB - one of the most media exposed organizations in the country. A theoretical framework is developed for the study and discusses organizational identity, stigmatization and motivation.
