I interventionsstudien var vårt syfte att undersöka om det finns ett samband mellan intensiv läsundervisning och ordavkodningen hos elever som har en långsam och osäker läsning. Vi genomförde tre läsrelaterade tester på 29 elever i årskurs 2 för att kartlägga deras ordavkodningsförmåga. Utifrån resultaten gjorde vi ett urval av fyra elever som vi kallade försöksgrupp. Dessa fick en-till-en-undervisning i olika ordavkodningsstrategier under fyra veckor vid 16 tillfällen, varje gång i 25-30 minuter. Vår undervisningsmodell inriktade sig mot fonologisk, morfologisk, syntaktisk och semantisk lästräning.

Tryckkvalitet för tryck med inkjetteknik kan kvantifieras på en rad olika sätt, bland de viktigaste är färgåtergivning och skärpa. STFI InkJet Test utvärderar just dessa. Frågan är om denna mätmetod korrelerar med den visuella upplevelsen. Syftet med studien var att finna vilka samband som råder mellan tryckkvalitet som uppmäts med instrument och den subjektiva tryckkvalitet som uppfattas av det mänskliga ögat. I undersökningens första del gjordes instrumentella mätningar med STFI InkJet Test på olika typer av papper.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att analysera hur ett antal makrovariabler påverkar på och samverkar med priserna på småhus. Upprepad testning vid inlärning förstärker långtidsminnet. Fenomenet är även känt som testeffekten (Roediger & Karpicke, 2006). Huvudsyftet med föreliggande studie var att undersöka testeffekten och jämföra den med inlärningseffekter av gruppdiskussioner. Andra syften var att undersöka om inlärning påverkades av individuella skillnader samt av testfrågornas komplexitet. Experiment genomfördes under fyra tillfällen och sammanlagt tolv studenter medverkade.

The aim of this paper is to compare subject headings by the authors of the work and those administrated by professional indexers. The empirical setting for the study lies within the sociological discipline. The questions asked are:? What overall similarities and differences between subject headings administrated by authors versus indexers can we find?? What qualitative advantages and disadvantages can we establish between subject headings generated by natural language versus controlled vocabularies?Subject headings in the Swedish national library catalogue Libris and in five Swedish universities platforms for academic publishing are studied and compared. Today it is praxis at Swedish universities that administration of subject headings is done by authors and not by professional indexers.

The objective for this Master?s thesis is to study literary programs for infants at six Swedish public libraries, their relevance and importance for infants and how the infant?s perspective in the program design and implementation is taken into consideration. The questions I pose are: In which way do the programs take the infants need for development and their literary prerequisites into consideration? Which functions can the programs have for infants? I have used a qualitative method, based on deep interviews with six library staff, working with literary programs. A model was developed based upon Daniel Stern?s theories of the interpersonal world of the infant together with Joseph Appleyard?s reading development theory.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the teachers? described experiences of advantages as well as disadvantages of Arne Trageton?s write to read-method (?ASL?) in contrast to the code-oriented traditional way of teaching. The aim of this study is furthermore to depict the teachers? opinions on whether they experience that the ASL-method is unfavourable for students in general. This study will also investigate the teachers? standpoint regarding choice of reading and writing method.

Arbetet har utförts på Ejendals AB i Leksand. Syftet var att ta reda på vilken inverkan stötdämpning i skor har på användaren och hur man ska anpassa stötdämpningen efter användaren. Genom intervjuer, enkäter och litteratur har kunskap om ämnet samlats in. Background Calprotectin is a protein expressed in the cytoplasm inside the neutrophile granulocytes. During inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), the neutrophile granulocytes are involved in a complex interaction at the inflammatory area where they die and release their content into the intestinal lumen. Therefore, calprotectin in stool is a suitable marker for diagnosis and measurement of the disease-activity in patients with IBD. The most commonly used method to detect calprotectin in stool is ELISA, but the process of manual preparation of stool samples is time-consuming.Aim The objective of the study was to evaluate an extraction method that could replace manual preparation of fecal samples and to compare different methods for measuring Calprotectin in stool using two ELISA-methods from two manufacturers and one rapidtest.Methods For extraction of calprotectin from stool samples we used sample collector tubes from Epitope Diagnostics and fecal preparation kits from Roche. Two different ELISA-kits for measuring calprotectin concentration in stool were compared.

With the right tools and methods the development work is facilitated, and it leads to products with fewer faults.This report shows in the form of a case study how an appropriate tool for functional testing can be selected and how it can be used within development of a website. The aim writing this essay is to understand and to explain difficulties with communications during sign language interpreting at the Video Relay Service (VRS). Another aim is also to identify the necessery conditions for communications at the VRS and to investigate why difficulties may arise in lack of these necessary conditions. The questions of this essay are: Which are the vital important difficulties in communication at the VRS and why do these difficulties arise?To answer these questions, four sign language interpreters working with the VRS, have been interviewed. These interviews constitute the empirical data of the essay.

Studien ämnar undersöka om människor med ADHD uppvisar en högre prevalens av otrygg anknytning (enligt testet ASQ) än normalbefolkningen. Metoden som har använts för att mäta detta är en internetbaserad självskattningsenkät; Attachment Style Questionnaire, ASQ, som är ett test som mäter olika kateogier av relationella mönster baserade på anknytningsteori.
