Bakgrund: Endast ett fåtal kvinnor i Sverige och övriga nordiska länder väljer en planerad hemförlossning. Organisationen för en planerad hemförlossning varierar mellan de nordiska länderna. Det är inte känt hur nöjda dessa kvinnor är med sin hemförlossning, det är därför av intresse att öka kunskapen om hur nöjda kvinnor i Sverige och Norden är med sin planerade hemförlossning.Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva förekomsten av nöjdhet hos kvinnor som genomgått en planerad hemförlossning samt att jämföra förekomsten av nöjdhet hos kvinnor i Sverige med Danmark, Norge och Island.Metod: Studien är en retrospektiv tvärsnittsstudie med kvantitativ ansats. Materialet är insamlat 2010-2013 inom ramen för forskningsnätverket ?Nordic Homebirth? via en enkätformulär på internetsidan www.nordichomebirth.com.

China?s textile and apparel industry, amanufacturing-based economy with its products bounding up with the consumers worldwide,has been facing enormous pressure to take CSR initiatives, particularly in relation toenvironmental issues and Labor standards.

AbstractAccording to research made by Statistics Sweden on the members of the Labor union IF Metall the number of reported musculoskeletal disorders for employees working under the collective bargaining agreement for the automotive industry has almost doubled since 2003. During 2004- 2006 and 2008 male assembly workers were the occupational group with the highest amount of reported work related disorders in Sweden. To prevent musculoskeletal disorders is according to Rose and Orrenius important both for the individual, the society and the industry by reducing economic and personal costs. The purpose of this paper is to identify and analyze how the manufacturing industry is affected by musculoskeletal disorders that occur when working with line assembly and how companies can prevent them. The report aims to provide the reader with an understanding of what musculoskeletal disorders are, to which extent they occur in assembly, how companies are directed by laws and regulations and how they affect the Swedish manufacturing industry and their employees.

Abstract The overall aim of this paper is to examine the impact of ideologies and norms on a legal system. Against a background of a description of the hierarchy of norms in Swedish labour law and in European Union law, respectively, the paper aims to specifically demonstrate the problems caused by the different hierarchies of norms when implementing EU directives in Swedish Labor law. The research question examines how the trade unions? right to industrial action towards an undertaker providing transnational services by posting of workers, is affected by the implementation of the Directive 96/71/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 1996 concerning the posting of workers in the framework of the provision of services. The paper answers the question under what conditions the Swedish trade unions have the right to take industrial action in situations of posting of workers. Through the study of sources of law and adhering to traditional jurisprudence, this paper investigates the legislation regarding trade unions? rights to take industrial action in situations of posting of workers. In addition to the jurisprudential research, a glance at the history of ideologies is provided.

The competition between the Swedish municipalities has increased as the world has become more globalized, which means that they need to become more attractive for sustaining sound finances and not to find themselves to have a downward trend. One possibility to show the attractiveness of a place is by using place marketing and therewith attaining a stronger brand position. There are 20 suburban municipalities in the county of Stockholm, of which six are multicultural or are having a minimum of 20 percent immigrants among the residents. These immigrant areas are segregated based on class, income and culture. Problems associated with these areas have historical aspects that dates further back than modern immigration does.

In todays competitive business climate the concept of ?quality management? is a significant part of daily work for many companies, as they want to achieve high performance quality and delivery success. Within the services sector third-party logistics companies play an increasingly central role when it comes to the goods that are being transported. These companies are presented with continuous challenges to ensure that goods are loaded on trucks efficiently and delivered on time, at the right place and in the right condition. The present case study was conducted in colLaboration with Schenker AB and Schenker Åkeri in Jönköping, to help these two company branches serving under the same major corporation to solve a common problem they both encounter, namely the fact that it regularly occurs handling abnormalities in the terminal process that affects overall quality for customers.The study aims to find out how the daily quality control concerning the handling of goods in the terminal process can be improved hopefully resulting in a higher quality in cargo shipments.

Problem - Det är ingen nyhet att människor idag överkonsumerar och att jordens resursersakta börjar tyna bort. Klädindustrin är ständigt i debatt om mänskliga rättigheter angåendeproduktionen. Barnarbete, långa arbetstider och farliga arbetsplatser är exempel på vad somdiskuteras. Fler och fler företag har dock börjat ta sitt ansvar i fråga om etik och miljö och detses idag som en självklarhet bland konsumenter. Problemet är dock att konsumenterna intevärdesätter de här initiativen utan de lägger större vikt kring pris och trend.

Corporate Social Responsibility, eller CSR har blivit något av en självklarhet hos företagenidag. Konsumenter accepterar inte barnarbete och de är miljömedvetna. Att ett företag haretiska och moraliska värderingar är inte bara viktigt ur just etiska och moraliska perspektivutan även för att kunna bygga och bevara ett starkt varumärke. Vi tycker att handeln med pälsär ett stort problem. Det finns allvarliga brister i den här branschen.

Andelen gravida kvinnor med fetma som skrivs in i mödrahälsovården i Sverige har de sen-aste 20 åren mer än fördubblats. Fetma är förknippat med ökade risker för komplikationer både för kvinnan och barnet under graviditet och förlossning och om viktuppgången hos kvinnor med fetma kan begränsas under graviditeten kan dessa risker minskas. Det finns få studier som har beskrivit barnmorskornas erfarenheter av att arbeta med gravida kvinnor med fetma och hur de upplever att kunna erbjuda extra stöd till dessa kvinnor. I Göteborg finns det sedan 2011 på vissa barnmorskemottagningar möjlighet att inom projektet VIKTiga mammor erbjuda gravida kvinnor med fetma extra stöd. Syfte: Att beskriva barnmorskors erfarenheter av att arbeta med gravida kvinnor med fetma, dels generellt och dels inom projektet VIKTiga mammors interventionsdel.

Bakgrund: Cirka tre till fyra procent av alla barn ligger i sätesbjudning vid fullgången graviditet. Med alltmer antal lyckade vändningsförsök och ökat antal kejsarsnitt minskar antalet barn som förlöses vaginalt vid sätesbjudning. Det påverkar barnmorskors och obstetrikers möjlighet att upprätthålla kompetensen vid sätesbjudning. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att beskriva barnmorskors synpunkter om vaginal sätesförlossning. Metod: Öppna frågor vid intervjuer med fem förlossningsbarnmorskor i Göteborg.

Vatten är en av jordens livsviktiga resurser, en resurs som hela tiden minskar. I delar av världen råder akut vattenbrist och ofta återfinns industrier med hög vattenanvändning i områden med begränsad vattentillgång. En av dessa industrier är textilindustrin. Vid textil beredning är vattenförbrukningen mycket hög och avloppsvattnet är ofta mycket förorenat. Vattenfrågorna inom textil produktion har fram till idag inte uppmärksammats i lika stor grad som arbetsrätts- och kemikaliefrågorna.
