Syftet med detta arbete är att göra en kritisk undersökning av regeringens beslut att slopa kursen Estetisk verksamhet som kärnämne i gymnasieskolan samt att beröra vikten av estetiska ämnen i skolan. Vidare syftar denna studie på att inte bara kritisera regeringens beslut, utan snarare försöka förstå hur man kommit fram till detta beslut. Inledningsvis ges en litteraturöversikt av tidigare forskning kring estetik och kunskap. Sex kvalitativa intervjuer har genomförts, två med gymnasielärare och fyra med gymnasieelever om deras syn på dessa frågor. Uppsatsen avslutas med ett analyskapitel där litteraturen vävs samman med resultaten från intervjuerna.

At present, the Swedish pig industry is in transition. Prices have been low, but feed prices have increased. Therefore, many pig producers have stopped their production. Producers that lack an integrated production may contract piglet?s producers, or may use the mediation services that slaughterhouses provide.

Syftet med denna studie; en en-grupps före- och eftertest, var att beskriva förekomstfrekvens av alla PRIM-VIPS sökord i omvårdnadsjournalen på en vårdcentral före och efter en studiecirkel där distriktssköterskor (n = 19) och undersköterskor (n = 7) deltog. Två tidsperioder om vardera tre veckor valdes, en före studiecirkelns start och den andra när studiecirkeln var avslutad. Tidsperioderna var representativa ur både patient- och personalhänseende. Det totala antalet patientkontakter i respektive period bedömdes vara jämförbara. Samtliga distriktssköterskor och undersköterskor inbjöds till studiecirkeln, inbjudan sändes också till vårdcentralsledningen för kännedom.

Barren rearing environment and early weaning of piglets can lead to a high level of distress, behavioural disturbances and reduction in weight gain. The main aim of this thesis was to study the effects of potential enrichment objects on piglet?s behaviour and weight gain during the pre- and post-weaning period. The second aim was to examine what type of object stimulated the highest frequency of interaction. The study was carried out at the Swedish Livestock Research Centre in Lövsta where a batch of litters from 10 first-parity Yorkshire sows were used.

The aim of this study is to examine how the induction period for newly employed upper secondary school teachers is implemented in practice, in relation to the Swedish Education Act and the National Agency for Education?s general guidelines. Although this induction period has been legally mandated since 2010, both previous research and current statistics indicate significant shortcomings or wide variation in its practical execution. The study is based on a qualitative interview study involving 13 school leaders. The interview responses were analyzed using three complementary theoretical frameworks: Lipsky?s theory of street-level bureaucracy, Meyer and Rowan?s concept of decoupling, and Schein?s model of organizational culture.

Uppsatsen hade som syfte att belysa om kommunal fritid behövs. Undersökningen bestod av samtal med fyra fritidschefer på deras fritidskontor. Samtalen tolkades hermeneutiskt och analyserades med Faircloughs kritiska diskursanalys (Winter Jørgensen & Philipps, 2000). Som teori utgicks från Habermas diskursteori (Habermas, 1995). Analysen visar att kommunal fritid är stadd under stark förändring och har gått från "inte" till att "vara".

This essay is a historiographical analysis of the picture of the transition period between the Bronze and the Iron Ages in Greece presented in A. M. Snodgrass' The Dark Age of Greece and V. R. d'A.

The topic of this essay is the strategic importance of the Golan Heights during the period 1967-1973, specifically targeting the following questions;-          Why were the heights strategically important?-          What are the gains of either of the states in controlling the Golan Heights?A theoretical framework based on Jerker Widén´s and Jan Ångström´s Militärteorins grunder (The fundamentals in Military Theory) and its chapter regarding the strategic context will be used as an analytical framework.The framework has been applied on the specific conditions of the Golan Heights during a given and limited period of time; stretching from 1967 to 1973, however, the study will not deal with the war of attrition in 1970 as the impact on the Golan Heights and the surrounding geographical strategically important area was limited if at all. The two wars waged during this particular time are used in an attempt to give a somewhat objective picture of the strategic importance of the area.The conclusions are that the importance of the Golan heights during the selected period was significant as the Golan Heights provided a ?strategic lock? both ways and provides a favourable area to deploy artillery, intelligence and surveillance sensors..

Denna uppsats behandlar hur integrering av informationssystem påverkar beslutssituationer i en kritisk verksamhet, vilken betydelse integreringen har i detta sammanhang. Syftet är att visa vilka konsekvenser förändringar kan leda till samt peka på argument för integration av informationssystem som kan underlätta beslut. Vi har försökt skapa en helhetsbild av ämnesområdet genom litteraturstudier och en fallstudie på SOS Alarm AB. Fallstudien omfattar fem intervjuer som behandlar ett gammalt informationssystem som delvis var integrerat och ett nytt informationssystem som är mer integrerat och som skall ersätta det gamla. Utifrån dessa intervjuer har vi gjort en jämförelse och analys för att se integreringens betydelse för beslutssituationer.

During the period called Little Ice Age (1400 ~ 1900) the climate of northern Europe was in an annual year-basis overall colder than it was before and after that period. The numbers of short, cold and rainy summers and long, bitter-cold winters where often repetitive under the approximately 500-years the period lasted. In Scandinavia, the coldest time during this period is estimated to have started around the end of the 16th century and lasted to the beginning of the 18th century. Trees growing at the tree-line are limited by temperature for their annual growth and hence showing differences of growth during changes in the climate,  a method called dendroclimatology. The variations of growth can be read in the tree-rings either by analyze the width of the ring or by look into the density of the wood and is used to reconstruct past climates.

Swedish agriculture stands in front of big changes the whole time. As a milking producer you have to adapt and develop the company to these changes and find the best solution. This potential is easy to find if you compare your company with other similar companies. Labour cost is the biggest cost in milking production after the cost for food. Today it is rather easy to measure how many hours per cow different system of cow houses needs, but we do not know so much about how many hours it takes to breed a calf. To learn more about the labour time with the calves during the first time after the calf was born, I made time studies on five different farms with calf hutches, automatic milk system, large calf boxes, and smaller calf boxes with teat buckets.

I denna uppsats görs ansatsen att, med hjälp av en kritisk diskursanalys och Norman Faircloughs tredimensionella modell, belysa eventuella skillnader och likheter mellan två olika typer av lärarutbildningar: Regeringens proposition 1999/2000:135 En förnyad lärarutbildning och Regeringens proposition 2009/10:89 Bäst i klassen ? en ny lärarutbildning. Utifrån denna modell analyseras de passager från texterna, vars innehåll bär relevans till de skäl som står till grund för förändring av utbildningen, ur ett grammatisk och lingvistiskt perspektiv. I nästa steg belyses den diskursiva praktik som är framträdande i båda propositionerna. Det tredje och sista steget behandlar den sociala praktiken som analyseras utifrån ett fokusgruppssamtal som hölls mellan tre pedagoger som är verksamma på Högskolan i Halmstad.

This is a study to see the relationship between earnings per share and dividends during a period of both boom and depression. The study will focus on companies listed on Stockholm stock exchange and see if they follow theories from the past and if the dividend is smooth over times with a fluctuant economy. To see this we had this problem:Is it a relationship between earnings per share and dividend during a fluctuant economy, also if there is a difference between the different Caps on Stockholm stock exchange?We studied 163 stocks of the 293 listed stock on Stockholm stock exchange during a period of 8 years. The study is focused on the time period between year 2005 and year 2012.

Concentration of protein in bovine milk is one of the most significant milk quality parameters, to a large extent determining the price for milk to the producer. Mastitis is a common disease among dairy cows, negatively affecting not only milk yield but also milk protein composition. Milk from mastitic cows tends to have lower cheese yield, negatively affected processability properties and sensory quality, due to changed protein quality and composition. Poorer milk protein quality would have an economically negative impact on dairy industry. Only few studies have investigated the short term effects of mastitis on milk protein composition.

The aim of this study is to examine how ADHD is discussed in the Swedish mass media. We have examined 21 articles from Aftonbladet, Expressen, Dagens Nyheter, Göteborgs-Posten and Svenska Dagbladet. All articles are reviewed from the newspapers online edition.Theories used are Erving Goffman?s theory of Stigma and Michael Foucault´s theory of categorization as well as Göran Palm's, Renée Skogersson's and Anders R. Olsson's theories about mass media.
