The present study examines power relations, textual genre and attitudes to the matching process in the labor market in the employment office?s opinion articles in the period 2009?2014.     The power relations that emerge in the debate articles between employers, job seekers and private employment constitute the study's main question.The theoretical starting points are taken from Fairclough?s critical discourse analysis (1992, 2001, and 2010), where the discursive practice consists of the employment office?s production of opinion articles during a recession. The social practice consists of the laws and regulations that make its actions to reduce unemployment in the society. The method is derived from Halliday?s (1994, 2002) systemic functional linguistics.

1 252 unaccompanied refugee children have disappeared in Sweden since 2007. These children have never been found. Nearly one unaccompanied refuge child disappears per day. This happens during the time they are within the Swedish authorities' responsibility. This thesis uses the framing theory of the mass media regarding the missing unaccompanied refugee children and what the mass media considers to be the cause of their disappearance, the moral aspects of the articles and the solutions to the problem.

Facebook´s importance has grown significantly regarding crisis communication. A deficiency concerning what types of companies has been investigated earlier and how their crisis communication should be carried out on Facebook, has been identified. The aim of this study is to examine the crisis communication of a smaller company on Facebook and explore how this communication has been received by the company?s recipients. We apply an explorative approach on to a case study in order to answer the aim.

Aim and questionsThe purpose for this study was to investigate how marks and mark settings are formed in physical training at some compulsory schools. We also wanted to see how the criteria for marks are formed. These were the main questions during this study.? How do the students find the evaluation and the making in physical training?? Are there differences between different student groups when it comes to their experience around estimation and marking in physical training? (gender, marks, schools etc.)? How do the teachers motivate their marking in physical training?? Are there any differences between the criteria for marking between different schools?MethodThe study was carried out during the spring 2005 at eight schools in a municipality in the middle of Sweden. The study involved 339 students opinion polls and 12 teacher opinion polls.

Idag pågår en aktiv global debatt om de negativa konsekvenserna som människors fotavtryck har satt på Jorden i form av miljöförstöring. Miljöförstöringen handlar till stor del om effekterna av Jordens ökande medeltemperatur, vilket i sin tur i stor utsträckning beror på våra levnadsvanor i form av produktions- och konsumtionsmönster. Ett internationellt arbete har påbörjats sedan en tid tillbaka för att skapa hållbara samhällen.I det här arbetet jämförs två aktörers texter angående deras relation till naturen.

Denna uppsats syftar till att med hja?lp av en kritisk diskursanalys studera hur invandringsfra?gan konstrueras av de journalister och politiker som medverkar i partiledardebatten som sa?ndes i Agenda i Sveriges Television info?r riksdagsvalet 2014. Det underso?ks ocksa? vilka andra a?mnen eller teman som invandringsfra?gan lyfts fram i relation till. Vidare diskuteras a?ven hur partiledardebatten svarar mot SVT ?s public service-uppdrag.?Studien utga?r fra?n tidigare forskning om den medierade politiken och grundas i teorier om politiska debatter i TV och teorier om rasism.

Internet's entry into our home has changed our communication capabilities. As a result more and more services in the digital world are available. Besides e.g. shopping, gaming and general information, different social networks now offer preventive and therapeutic health-oriented services. When being asked by several young people, with whom I have been working in a clinical setting, to offer conversations over the Internet that enables both to see and to hear each other in real time, I decided to conduct a pilot study which is presented in this paper. The aim was to investigate the feasibility of offering supportive therapy using video calls over the Internet.

Conclusions: A myriad of interpretations are possible when studying and discussing a particular organizational culture. As culture can not be removed from its context, we illuminate the effects that the internationalization process has with regards to unifying the organizational culture in our particular setting studied. Maintaining however, that a reflexive look at this culture shows no single interpretation as being sufficient, we try to expose its richness and ambiguities through a three perspective approach..

AbstractI denna undersökning tolkas motståndsstrategier i Ulrike Meinhofs skrivna texter.Undersökningsmaterialet består av engelska översättningar av tre krönikor publicerade i denVästtyska tidsskriften konkret under året 1968: ?Counter-Violence?, ?From Protest toResistance? och ?Setting Fire to Department Stores?.Syftet är att tolka Meinhofs syn på motståndsstrategier i de tre krönikorna. Detta görsgenom att först tolka det deskriptiva innehållet i krönikorna; det vill säga vad texterna säger.Tolkningarna görs både kronologiskt och komparativt utifrån vilken typ av motståndsmetodsom beskrivs, motståndsmetodens syfte eller riktadhet, samt värderingen av en specifikmotståndsmetod och dess resultat eller konsekvenser. Den komparativa tolkningen utgörsvidare av en fokusering på krönikornas potentiella skillnader, olikheter eller förändringar.Syftet är också att utifrån den kronologiska och den komparativa tolkningen diskuterakrönikornas performativa funktion; det vill säga vad texterna gör.Uppsatsen är teoretisk och anknyter till en genusvetenskaplig, metodologiskutgångspunkt som innebär att teori och metod inte skiljs åt.  The purpose of this essay is to study the republican and socialist Northern Ireland political party Sinn Féin and to examine its legitimacy in the eyes of the citizens of Northern Ireland. Is it possible to have a political agenda that includes violence and still maintain legitimacy? The Irish Republican Army?s (IRA) military struggle was for a long time a part of the party?s political agenda. This strategy has been described as to have a ballot paper in one hand and an Armalite in the other, and successfully made Sinn Féin one of the province?s largest political parties.

 I den här uppsatsen undersöks hur mycket och på vilket sätt Sverigedemokraterna nämns och uttalar sig i TV4Nyheterna före och efter att de valdes in i riksdagen 2010. En kvantitativ och en kvalitativ ansats har kombinerats för att undersöka två tremåndersperioder, en under 2008 och en under 2012. Vidare studeras framingen av nyheter, vem står för framingen och vem som sätter agendan, journalister eller politiker. Även inramningen av Sverigedemokraterna studeras. Teoretiskt ligger modellen för agenda-setting till grund för stora delar av resonemanget. Även teorier kring nyhetsvärdering, journalistikens beskrivningsmakt, framing och TV:s genomslagskraft bygger upp den teoretiska ramen. I den kvantitativa delen tillämpas en kvantitativ innehållsanalys av samtliga inslag som berör immigration och integration i Rapport, Aktuellt och TV4Nyheterna under de tidigare nämnda tidsperioderna.

Today´s debate in farming is being focused on tourism, outdoor life and hobbies in the rural areas. This is of interest also for the general public as a way of counteracting the depopulation of the rural areas. Within the last years, the farming has become more technically advanced and hence efficient. This has led to increased production volumes and wider selection of products with lower margins for the farmer as a consequence. When the profitability is reduced, the farmer is faced with the choice of either increasing efficiency or diversification of the business.
