Denna fallstudie berör Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) och den interna kommunikationen av CSR inom finanssektorn. De organisationer studien har applicerats på är Swedbank och Nordea där studien belyser kommunikation av CSR från central nivå till lokal och vise versa. Idag blir företag i större utsträckning än tidigare granskade inom områdena samhällsarbete och hållbarhetsfrågor. Swedbank och Nordea är två stora aktörer inom finanssektorn, en sektor som tidigare setts ha en mer indirekt påverkan än direkt, och verkar för att samhället ska fungera genom in- och utlåning.Den externa kommunikationen från organisationerna bygger på att den interna kommunikationen ska fungera och leda till ett utförande av det som utlovas på hemsidor, CSR-rapporter, hållbarhetspolicys etc. För att undersöka detta har en kvalitativ fallstudie genomförts med intervjuer genomförda på central, regional och lokal nivå inom de både organisationerna.

This essay is intended for veterinary nurses and its purpose is to contribute to an increased knowledge about the ferret and there by a better nursing care at clinics. The essay discuss in briefness origin and earlier use of the ferret but also anatomy, physiology and reproduction. The senses of the ferret, as vision and hearing, are described in connection with behaviour. The part of the essay where nursing care is described bring up procedures as handling when collecting blood, medical techniques and how the clinic best should be suited for these animals. Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka vad som påverkar begriplighet och användbarhet i texter som ska an­vändas som stöd för handling. Ett delsyfte är att bidra till diskussionen om hur dessa faktorer kan undersökas på ett textanalytiskt sätt. Materialet för studien är tio myndig­hets­­texter som handlar om olika procedurer som företagare be­höver utföra. Jag granskar texter­na i tre analyskategorier. För det första undersöker jag modelläsningen, alltså hur texterna kan an­vän­das och hur de signalerar hur de är tänkta att användas.

The main purpose of this thesis has been to investigate librarians opinions about the need for and possibility to use non-roman script in library catalogues. We have also investigated the routines of handling materials in non-roman scripts in two Swedish libraries. The investigation was made in the light of the recent shift in character set in the Swedish National Library Catalogue Libris. This change will enable use of multiple writing systems in the future.Our findings are that a multicultural society requires special consideration to the needs of citizens who speak other languages than the majority of the population. This becomes difficult when the languages spoken have a different writing system than the one used by the majority.

This report that is written in cooperation with Peab Sverige AB, studies the information and knowledge management from the production support to the production management. The conclusion of this report is that to have a good and functional information and knowledge management it is necessary that the company has a good way of regain and handling experiences from its projects. Med min bakgrund, som landskapsarkitektstudent och parkförvaltare, betraktar jag förvaltningsskedet som en fas med möjligheter för nyskapande och utveckling av utemiljön. Parkförvaltare skulle potentiellt kunna bidra till nyskapande och utveckling av parker och grönområden genom initiativtagande och kreativitet. Syftet med detta examensarbete är att försöka bidra till ökad kunskap om parkförvaltares initiativtagande och kreativitet gällande parkskötsel i ett förvaltningsskede. Målet är att undersöka nyskapande och utvecklande parkskötsel, det vill säga hur kreativitet och initiativtagande kan värderas och främjas med utgångspunkt i ett förvaltningsskede. Med strategin upptäcktsstyrd undersökning tillämpas induktiv metodik för kunskapsinsamling, där all data behandlas kvalitativt. Kunskapsinsamlingen har skett genom litteraturstudier, en fallstudie samt en undersökning av min egen designprocess. I examensarbetet undersöks, genom två huvudspår, nyskapande och utveckling i förvaltningsskedet utifrån en parkförvaltares perspektiv.

Our project is divided into two parts, one production and written report. The main focus was the production part, were we used PHP to create simple solution for handling SMS and MMS with direct communication with the mobile operator server. We communicate with sockets and can handle CIMD2 and MM7 protocol. To get our components easy to use we have created two classes to handle SMS and MMS. To demonstrate our technical platform we created a website were you can create an account.

In a database environment, when you create or alter tables you often want to have a basic interface for standard operations such as insert, delete and update. This thesis report covers an analysis of what programs there are on the market for generating such interfaces and compares them against the demands of a real company. The analysis showed that none of the programs were completely meeting the requirements and therefore an own implementation of an interface generating program was created. The result is a PL/SQL program capable of generating files, storing them in a version handling system and executing the files into the database..

Live exports of animals began during the late 19th century and are nowadays a valuable alternative to the slaughter industry in Australia. About four million sheep and half a million to one million cattle are exported annually from Australia to the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Most of these animals are exported for slaughter, but some cattle are exported with the purpose of breeding. One factor that has been the driving force for the live export industry is that countries through tariffs and other barriers have favored the import of live animals rather than the import of meat.The export means that animals with a great cognitive ability are exposed to a long chain of production from the farm to the market and there are many factors that can affect the welfare of the animals in a negative way. Some of the most serious are high temperatures and a high stocking density, although seasickness, noises and handling can also have a negative impact on the welfare of animals.

This Master Thesis is a part of PlymoVent?s business to customer plot, with the aim to investigate how the consumers receive the services that PlymoVent provides. With regard to PlymoVent's business strategy and reference theory, the demands of how to receive and monitor a supply chain for a better customer satisfaction where targeted. The findings refer to poor customer satisfaction due to obscure procedures in problem resolution and discrepancy handling, and vague transportation accuracy..

Syftet med uppsatsen är att få en uppfattning om hur andra funderar kring begreppet ?ondska?. Är ondskan en reell företeelse eller ett moraliskt/religiöst/etiskt/filosofiskt problem? Kan vi se det svarta i livet hos oss själva eller tycker vi att det är ?dom andra? som är onda? Har vi behov av att se ondskan personifierad? Blir den lättare att hantera då? Det här är några av de frågor jag ställde mig inför arbetet.Frågorna jag hade inför arbetet har mina informanter svarat på genom sina egna funderingar. Ondskan är en reell företeelse för Kurt och Ove.

The purpose of the work is to analyze and balance an assembly line at Fläkt Woods in Jönköping. The work is going to answer the questions about today?s throughput time, how much waste that occurs, number of staff at the assembly line, how the supply of material works and possible improvements that can be made at the work stations. The work is also going to give a proposal of improve-ments that can be made.The methods used to get the result include observations and measurements, con-versations with technicians and operators and also data from Fläkt Woods? data-base.Large variations in throughput time are measured during the measure period, from 3 hours up to 5 hours and 35 minutes.

Ansökningshandlingarna i ett kommunalt rekryteringsärende är vanligtvis att betrakta som allmänna handlingar. Detta har ibland upplevts som ett problem för kommunala arbetsgivare. Det befaras att många kompetenta presumtiva intressenter avstår från att söka sig en ny kommunal anställning, då det inte kan ske utan en offentlighet redan vid ansökningstillfället.  Under de senaste 20 åren har kommuner därför i allt större utsträckning anlitat konsulter vid rekrytering av högre tjänstemän. I samband med detta har det flera gånger diskuterats hur detta förfarande påverkar offentlighetsprincipen. När privata konsulter sköter kommunala rekryteringsärenden, menar vissa att ansökningshandlingarna i ärendet inte är att betrakta som allmänna när de inkommer till konsulten.
