Pressure ulcers cause a lot of patients unnecessary suffering. This suffering could be decreased through improved knowledge about prevention, so that pressure ulcer will not appear. The purpose with this review was to study how nurses assess risk and prevent pressure ulcer, and to study how nurses use available knowledge. The method consisted of searches in databases and searching trough references. Our result is based on ten articles, qualitative, quantitative and reviews.

Laboratory work is a big part of chemistry education in high school. During our student training placement we have noticed that the laboratory work is not fully utilized to develop students´ chemistry knowledge. This problem made us want to investigate how the laboratory work in chemistry could be set, to become more meaningful for students. We introduced two preparation methods, and examined the outcome of students learning experiences and their acquisition of chemistry knowledge. This was examined both through surveys and observation.

Det Intellektuella kapitalet (IC) är en viktig innovation som presenterats inom ekonomistyrningsområdet och består av ett företags human- och strukturkapital, även kallat immateriella tillgångar. Genombrottet kring IC kom 1995 då Skandia och Leif Edvinsson, direktör hos Skandia av det intellektuella kapitalet, för första gången i världen redovisade IC som ett tillägg i sin årsredovisning. Diffusion av innovationer som IC nås ut till samhället via olika kanaler. For innovative organizations and companies it is essential to use existing knowledge to avoid spending time and resources on already existing innovations. By using patent information, companies are able to get a picture of what is already done in their area of interest. The main purpose of the study is to examine the information use in small and medium-sized enterprises that are members of the Swedish Inventor?s Association, focusing on patent information. The study examines the use of patent information and which barriers the companies have to patent information.

This study is about differences in knowledge regarding animals. In the study five year old preschool children from a city were compared to five year old preschool children in the suburbs with multicultural background. The study is also about where children´s knowledge about animals comes from and how educators can make a positive difference. To find this out standardized interviews was used on 23 children from four different preschools, two preschools in the suburbs with 15 children and two preschools in the city with 13 children. A survey was sent out to the educators within these preschools to gather background information on what the children do regarding animals.

The aim of this master's thesis is to investigate and to explain the concept of folksonomy in the perspective of knowledge organisation. By creating a conceptual explanation and defining what folksonomy as a concept consists of, the intent is to establish a basis for evaluating folksonomy and to discuss what relevance folksonomy may have in the field of knowledge organisation. By applying a qualitative content analysis a review is performed on how folksonomy is perceived and discussed in a selection of articles written on the subject. Employing the theory of classification, subject indexing and bibliographic retrieval, folksonomy as a method for knowledge organisation is analysed. The practice of tagging in existing systems is also studied.

Background:An increasing number of patients with an oncology diagnose will be seen in the future. The oncology care is complex and in great need of nurses with a high level of competence. There is a lack of previous research in the specialist oncology nurses competence and therefore knowledge of their skills can reveal an understanding of their competence.Aim:The aim of the study was to describe the competence of the specialist oncology nurse.Method:Four oncology nurses and two directors of oncology care were interviewed. The interview text was analyzed using qualitative content analysis.Results:The result showed that the oncology nurses had developed six different competences within different areas. These competence areas were assertiveness, patient-centered care, ethical and moral-, pedagogical-, to lead and develop- and theoretical competence.

Vi har därför valt att studera öppna innovationsprojekt där vi särskilt tittat på kommunikationen mellan ledare och projektgrupp.Syfte Syftet med denna studie är att ge en bild av kommunikationssätt som har betydelse mellan ledare och projektgrupp. Detta ligger till grund för att skapa riktlinjer för en god kommunikation inom öppna innovationsprojekt.Metod I denna studie används en kvalitativ metod där empirin har samlats in via intervjuer samt enkäter.Slutsats Studien visar bland annat på att det är viktigt att ledaren fungerar mer som en administrativ person än att den besitter en teknisk kompetens samt att den kan hålla många bollar i luften och kan vara kontaktskapande då det gäller att ledaren kan hålla ihop sin projektgrupp. Gemensamma mål är viktiga för projektgruppen för att alla ska ha nytta av varandra i nätverket.
