I detta examensarbete studeras marknaden för gruppbyggda småhus i Sverige. Trivselhus är idag landets fjärde största tillverkare av modulhus med cirka 240 anställda och har som affärsidé att tillverka skräddarsydda hus där kunden har stort inflytande över husbyggnadsprocessen. Trivselhus har outnyttjad produktionskapacitet i sina fabriker och vill utreda möjligheterna att konstruera flera hus efter samma ritning för att öka beläggningen i fabrikerna. Den nya hustypen konstrueras helt utifrån Trivselhus ritningar och visionen är att montera upp dem i mindre bostadsområden för försäljning till kund. Den fallstudie som har genomförts i arbetet har syftat till att skapa en bred förståelse för hur branschen ser ut för gruppbyggda småhus.

The aim of the study was to investigate the students´ attitudes towards mathematics, their knowledge in the subject area they find the least interesting and whether laborative/practical working methods could awaken their interest and curiosity. During our work, we have looked into previous studies regarding girls´ and boys´ attitude and performance in mathematics. We handed out surveys to students in grade 9 at a School with many people from other cultures and nationalities in Malmö in order to find the answers to our questions. The result showed that most of the students thought that the subject area "scaling" was the least interesting. The implemented action program was a laborative/practical task within the "scaling" area.

The intention of the study is to investigate pedagogues understanding of physical activities in preschool. Should special activities be planned in order to stimulate children´s progress in motor skills? I also want to find out if pedagogues found the acitivities in preschool curriculum which says that the aim is to develop children´s body perception and teaching children how to care for their own health. I have interviewed seven pedagogues and focus of the question lied within motor skills and the joy of movement among preschool children. The result shows that pedagogues regard it to be important to stimulate motor activities and to encourage joy of movement in preschool.

The purpose of this thesis is to gain insight into educators? views and work with circle time in preschool. To find out, I have referred to the following questions: How is your circle time performed in preschool? What objectives have teachers with the circle time? What impact has your circle time for the children in preschool?I have chosen to carry out qualitative interviews with three preschool teachers. After the interviews, I compared the educators? response to previous research.The survey shows that the circle time is one of the day´s highlights for preschool children.

Detta examensarbete har utförts vid Duroc Engineering AB i Luleå. Duroc Engineering är Sveriges ledande företag inom laserförädling av metalliska ytor och levererar tjänster och produkter till framförallt gruv-, stål-, flyg- samt verkstadsindustrin. Rostervagnar transporterar kulor som används vid sintringen i Malmberget vid LKAB:s kulsinterverk. Genom att vagnarna passerar genom olika värmezoner sintras kulorna och vagnarna töms därefter för att hämta upp nya kulor. Detta pågår dygnet runt, året om, vilket medför stort slitage på vagnshjulen.

The aim with this study was to find out how young people at age 16-19 years in Kalmar, Sweden use and interact through Facebook. The questions in our questionnaire were based on three themes, these are; friendship relations on Facebook, what influence Facebook has on young people and how they choose to present themselves on Facebook. The theory that was applied on this study is of social-psychological kind. We chose the theory because we figured it would be suitable to further explain and dispute the aim of the study. The result shows that many different variables can matter in a study like this. We chose to look at a few, such as for example sex and age and we found out that there is a great difference between the way girls and boys use Facebook and how they choose to present themselves in this social media. Iggesund Paperboard AB är ett företag inom Holmenkoncernen med verksamhet i Iggesund och årligen produceras över 300 000 ton kartong. För att minska användningen av fossila bränslen har företaget investerat i en ny sodapanna vilket har skapat nya förutsättningar i fabrikens sekundärvärmesystem som tar hand om fabrikens spillvärme.I detta projekt har möjligheterna att minska vatten- och energianvändningen i fabriken analyserats genom att studera fabrikens sekundärvärmesystem. Utifrån ritningar samt information från fabrikens loggsystem skapades en simuleringsmodell med modellverktyget Extendsim. Detta för att analysera hur hetvattenbehovet i sekundärvärmesystemet kan täckas när hetvattenproduktionen minskar från stripperkolonnen. I modellen undersöktes även den ökade fjärrvärmepotentialen i filtratvatten från blekerier och hetvattenöverskott då blekerierna moderniseras i fabriken.

The meaning of being someone and standing for something is getting more important today in the Swedish business market. Our thesis has a qualitative approach that aims to study the usage of personal branding in the upper-management of Swedish organizations. Theories collected from literature and articles include marketing branding, personal branding and leadership. Our main target is to identify components that obtain usage of personal branding which are, attributes and strengths, communication, values, and vision and mission. The empirical data is gathered from six personal interviews with managers.

AbstractThe aim of the present study was to investigate if and how pre-school teachers reach the objectives in the national curriculum concerning the environmental issues.Another angle of this study is to find out if there are any involvement amongst the preschools regarding the environmental issues and if the teachers encourage the children to join in and make them a part of discussion.I have randomly chosen 10 preschools throughout Sweden and interviewed one staff-member from each school. Most of the preschools were well aware of the goals to follow according to the national curriculum.After comparing the answers my conclusion is that preschools act quite differently concerning environmental issues. Some worked almost exclusively with the children involved. Others occasionally involved the children whereas a few didn?t include the children at all.In every case the teachers would want to dedicate more time to environmental issues.

The purpose of this study was to gain a clearer picture of how after-school-care teachers? work with fundamental values in after-school care, both practically and theoretically based on the curriculum Lgr 11. I wanted to acquire a broader understanding of the school's core values and what kinds of tools teachers used to cope with their task. I proceeded with two questions:How does after-school care proactively work with core values based on gender, ethnicity and class?How does the work on value issues at after-school care centers compare with Lgr 11?In my study, I used literature studies and a qualitative analysis of five interviews with afterschool care teachers.

The purpose of this study was to show how the Hybrid Larch (Larix eurolepis x) are used by large herbivores in terms of grazing and fraying. More specifically I studied how impact on the seedlings was affected by forest stand area, tree height and stem density (stems/ha).The survey was done in Jönköpings county in southern Sweden. About 50 % of all stems that are measured are damaged by grazing and 5,8 % was damaged from fraying. The conclusion of the study is that the biggest influencing factor is the height of the seedlings. The size of the stands and number off seedlings per hectare have almost no impact on the injuries on the seedlings. Fraying are common on trees smaller than 3 meters, and doesn?t occur on trees above that height.

AbstractHuvudfrågeställningen för uppsatsen är hur invandrarungdomar upplever och hanterar sin livssituation i de två kulturella världar de eventuellt lever i, den ursprungliga och den svenska kulturen? Undersökningen är utförd kvalitativt och baseras på fem intervjuer. De intervjuade har haft sin primära socialisation i hemlandet och under tidig ålder flyttat till Sverige. Teoretiskt utgår uppsatsen från Berger & Luckman, Jenkins, Ålund och Deniz vilka med sina skilda teorier förklarar varför identitetsprocessen och tillhörigheten är komplexfyllda för invandrarungdomar. Tidigare forskning har visat att invandrarungdomar upplever skilda problem i sin vardag därför att de lever i utkanten av två skilda kulturer.

The purpose of this project was to investigate whether it was possible to develop a type of application, where users would solve chess problems. The main goal of the project was that there would exist an functional application after the study has ended with which users could solve chess problems on a computer. One subgoal of the project was to create corresponding application for mobile phones. The study was limited to require users to have at least Internet Explorer 9 +. For other browsers, there were no corresponding limitations.

Detta projekt har pågått under sista terminen på maskiningenjörsprogrammet vid högskolan i Halmstad. Projektet har utförts av en student och tillsammans med företaget Källemo. Syftet med projektet har varit att studenten ska hitta och utvärdera ett lämpligt material åt en ny stol. Materialvalet skulle också kompletteras med en lämplig tillverkningsmetod. Stolen är designad av Pierre Sindre, SandellSandberg, och kommer att produceras och säljas av Källemo.

This paper is an examination of how you as pedagogue can strengthen students self-esteem. I have acknowledge that there are possibilities to do this by the art of dancing. I want to with this paper to give a deeper understanding that shows of how you as a pedagogue can strengthen students self-esteem by using dance at junior level. To answer this question I have used this questions:- Can dance strengthen students self-esteem by the art of dancing and if that is so how can this be done?- What pedagogical attitude can be to an advantage when the goal is to strengthen students self-esteem.I have chosen to use ten qualitative interviews which brings up my questions at hand.
