ABSTRACTThe discussions about energy use have increased year by year everywhere in the society, and so also in the healthcare sector. But what is actually energy use in a hospital facility, and what affects it?The typical way today to express the energy use is in kWh/m2. The problem with a key performance indicator that is expressed as energy use in relation to a specific area is that it does not take into account the activity in the building. Even though the activity to a very high extent affects the energy use.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to investigate how a public library should sign and organize their resources to make them as accessible as possible to the users of the library. Our theory, Paul Arthur?s and Romedi Passini?s wayfinding theory, is about how people search through information loaded environments. Our empirical material consists mainly of three parts: an inventory of the resources and guiding at Hammarö bibliotek, eight interviews with visitors at Hammarö bibliotek and observations of how visitors use and interact with the library, its resources and guiding.

The purpose of this study is to examine whether personality traits, self-esteem, performance-based self-esteem and demographic data relate to, and can explain the variation in psychological ill-health among students at Lund University. A questionnaire was distributed to students attending the Psychology program, Bio-technology program, Theologian program and Law program. There were 247 respondents to the questionnaire, mainly attending their second or third semester. General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-12), Rosenberg's Self- Esteem scale, Hallstens scale measuring performance-based self-esteem, questions relating to demographic data and a short version of the personality inventory scale Big Five were included in the questionnaire. Positive correlations were found between psychological ill-health and the variables neuroticism and performance-based self-esteem.

Forskning har visat att den komplexa miljö som tränare är verksamma i kan leda till både psykiska och fysiska problem på grund av den press denna miljö skapar. Fotbollstränare verkar i en miljö som såväl på som utanför fotbollsplanen ställer hårda krav på dem och framkallar stress hos dem vilket i värsta fall kan leda till att de blir utbrända.Syftet med denna studie är att identifiera  de mest frekventa stressorerna som upplevdes av svenska elitfotbollstränare som rapporterades med höga nivåer av utbrändhet år 2003.Åtta stycken fotbollstränare på elitnivå i Sverige har identifierats ur tidigare insamlad data där de genomgick en enkätstudie. I studien svarade de bland annat på Maslach Burnout Inventory och Job Stress Survey som mäter utbrändhetsnivå respektive stressnivå.Resultatet visar att det finns åtta stycken stressorer som sticker ut från mängden där den mest frekvent upplevda stressorn bland dessa utbrända fotbollstränare år 2003  är att ?Fatta viktiga beslut?. Resultatet visar också att det finns samband mellan flera av de mest frekventa stressorerna..

AbstractBusiness, or business decisions always involves an endangerment from the company?s aspect, but when it comes to business with foreign countries the risk profile looks quite different from the profile the company has when its doing business inside the country. Therefore, it is extremely important for an export company or import company to carefully consider the risks that are enclosed with the deal, before he makes the decision to enter a deal. One of the most important risks a company have to considerate when doing business with foreign countries is the currency risk. A company is exposed to currency risk when either long-term or short-term changes in the exchange rate may affect the result of the company, competitive position and growth.

Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att ur ett ledningsperspektiv undersöka vilka belöningssystem småsom gare nämnde nämnde prestation. hur vi kommer in på just ett belöningssystem som främjar. lvis kopplingen emellan prestation företag använder och jämföra detta med företagens tillväxt och de anställdas prestation.Metod: Metoden använder en tvärsnittsdesign med induktiv karaktär. Primärdata består av kvalitativa intervjuer som kombineras med en kvantitativ enkätundersökning ur ett  företagsledarperspektiv. Urvalet baseras på företagens storlek, år de grundades samt  bransch.TeoriUppsatsskribenterna avser att använda agentteorin, Hertzbergs tvåfaktorteori, teorier kring belöningssystem och motivationsteorier som uppsatsen teoretisk ramverk.Resultat: Resultatet visar att fast lön och prestationsbelöningar är mest använt.

Denna studie syftar till att undersöka om det föreligger skillnader i inlärningsstilar mellan blivande psykoterapeuter med psykodynamisk respektive kognitiv beteendeinriktad inriktning. Undersökningsdeltagarna utgjordes av samtliga studenter i de två första årgångarna på Stockholms universitets psykologiska institutions psykoterapeututbildning. Studenter på psykoterapeututbildningen kan välja mellan antingen kognitiv beteendeinriktad terapi eller psykodynamisk psykoterapi. I syfte att kartlägga eventuella skillnader mellan studenterna på de två olika inriktningarna användes två versioner av David Kolbs Learning Style Inventory. Resultatet av undersökningen visade på tydliga skillnader mellan terapeuter med olika inriktning.

Trots en hög andel unga med psykosomatiska besvär visar statistiken även att ungdomar generellt upplever sig ha en god psykisk hälsa, ett gott humör, god självkänsla och en god framtidstro. Denna studie fokuserar på att utforska hur varaktiga mönster av stresshanteringsstrategier hos ungdomar kan relateras till deras subjektivt upplevda välbefinnande i termer av affektiva tillstånd och kognitiva bedömningar av livstillfredsställelse. En enkätundersökning genomfördes med 104 deltagare, varav 80 kvinnor, i åldrarna 15 till 19 år. Mätinstrument som användes var svenska versioner av COPE Inventory, Positive and Negative Affect Schedule och Satisfaction With Life Scale. Resultatet visade att emotionsfokuserade copingstrategier i högre grad än respektive problemfokuserade strategier predicerade välbefinnande, vilket skiljer sig från tidigare resultat där de senare stått för detta samband främst i studier med vuxna.

Sweden is dependent on secure sea transport. Shorter disruption of imports of fuel and crude oil can be managed with an emergency stock, but a prolonged halt in imports creates problems. For industry, the vulnerability is greater. Fragmented production chains in combination with expenditure reductions in inventory causes a dependency on proper transport of intermediate goods in the manufacturing industry. A lengthy disruption thus involves disruption of production for both domestic consumption and for export goods containing imported parts.In order to secure shipping routes with a limited number of vessels, Mine Counter Measures (MCM) capacity is required, and according to the Armed Forces, developed with new sensors and autonomous vehicles.

Politiska beslut från tidigt 90-tal hargjort det möjligt för privata aktörer att etablera friskolor och äldreboenden.Reformerna har möjliggjort att även investera i verksamheternas lokaler. Vid dessaförvärv brukar ett relativt långt hyreskontrakt medfölja och det finns ett starktsamband mellan den förhandlade hyran och försäljningspriset. När förvärvet ärgenomfört och kontraktet sedan löper ut kan det bli problematiskt att avgöra vilkennivå den nya hyran bör ligga på.Hyresgästens betalningsförmåga är en central del i analyserna i denna uppsats.Uträkningen av kommunens så kallade skolpeng respektive omsorgspeng kartläggsför att dra slutsatser om vilka marginaler respektive part har att förhålla sig till och hurdet påverkar den förväntade hyran.I denna uppsats diskuterar vi också huruvida hyressättningen av samhällsfastigheterkan återkopplas till olika kombinationer av hyresrelationer. Incitament till att ta ut enviss hyra kan variera beroende på fastighetsägarens syfte med innehavet.

FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is the major form of certification system in Swedish forestry today and its more than 11 million hectares are covering almost half of the total productive forest area in the country. Its regulations prescribe that at least 10 wind firm trees should be left behind after every clear cutting operation. This study have taken place on 30 recently clearcut objects in Bergslagen, Sweden, were an inventory of the standing stock have been made. The research shows that, with 90 % security, the retained trees together contain 9-13 m3sk per hectare. Pine is the dominant tree and it covers more than half the numbers of retained trees and its volume cover 65 % of the retained trees total volume. Spruce is on second place with 30 % of the retained trees, but only 21 % of the standing stock.

It is important to identify the consequences of alcohol consumption among university students since over-consumption can lead to health problems and poorer academic performance. The following personality factors, neuroticism, conscientiousness and extraversion, have in previous studies shown to be related to alcohol consumption  and shown to be associated with the university students' alcohol use and living arrangements. This study examines the following question; Is there a link between university students' alcohol consumption, and;1) the personality factors neuroticism, conscientiousness, extraversion?2) their living situation?3) personality factors and living situation together?Participating in this survey was one hundred university students with a mean age of 23.4 years (SD = 2.6). To examine participants' personality, alcohol consumption and living arrangements, the NEO Five-Factor Inventory (Costa, McCrae, 2003) questionnaire was used and the questionnaire also contained self-constructed questions about drinking habits, living arrangements and demographic questions. This study's results indicate that neuroticism, conscientiousness, living situation and extraversion predicts alcohol consumption (R2 = .354, p <.001). Thus, students who have these personality traits and circumstances one by one or together have a increased risk for alcohol over-consumption..

AbstractComing to new job is not that easy, sometimes the feeling of insecurity appears. Working for recruitment agencies includes constant changes of colleagues and places of work and at the same time one has two different managers. Who does the individual turn to when problems occur and who do the employed see as his/her manager? Why do people search for work in recruitment agencies? How does it feel not having a fixed place of work or colleagues and how do the aspects of this affect the employed psychosocial work environment? This is a few questions asked when we tried to find answers on the employed feelings about his/hers psychosocial work environment in a recruitment agency. The purpose of this study was to find a deeper understanding on employees working in a recruitment agency experiences their psychosocial work environment on the basis of social support, demands and control.
