The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine how gender is described in some of the most popular children?s picture books in year 2007 and 2008. Riskbruk av alkohol är ett stort problem i dagens samhälle. Sjuksköterskan beskrivs ha goda möjligheter att upptäcka och behandla riskbruk av alkohol i det dagliga arbetet. Studier tyder på att korta interventioner är av stor nytta till sjuksköterskan i sitt hälsofrämjande arbete. Dock visar forskningen att sjuksköterskans aktivitet inom detta område måste utvecklas och att det finns många faktorer som kan påverka uppgiften. Syftet med arbetet var att belysa faktorer som påverkar sjuksköterskans hälsofrämjande arbete gällande individer med ett riskbruk av alkohol.

Title: Theory and Practice: A study of Swedish Research on the Internationalization in Swedish Business and its Relevance to Practice´s, according to The Camber of Commers, Swedish Trade Council and researchers.Main issue: Within marketing science, there is an general ongoing discussion about the gap between researchers and practitioners, this leads to the thesis main issue on whether the Swedish marketing research conducted in the internationalization of Swedish companies, is relevant to practitioners and provides essential tools for practitioners to applicable in real business situations.Purpose: The purpose is to answer the problems of theory and practice, what it looks like and what the underlying factors and impact difference between internationalization theory and practice are.Method: The thesis has a qualitative methodology mainly based on theory, as well as empirical findings from researchers and organizations working with Swedish company's internationalization.Results: The result shows that there is a difference between theory and practice and that there are several factors underpinning this. Theories primary purpose is not to be practical but to explore an unanswered need to create an understanding to the researcher?s audience, which is other researchers, thereby are theories based on knowledge not demands from the practitioners. The result also shows that the internationalization theories can be applied in practice´s reality on the internationalization of companies. Research degree of generality has a sense of reality given by the empirical studies which therefore reflects the reality of the theory which gives theory a content of truth.Conclusion: The gap that exists between theory and practice has both positive and negative effects.

Can consumers regulate corporate behavior?And if so is the case, could the mechanisms where consumers regulate corporatebehavior have any democratic value to contribute with? These are the questionsthat this master's thesis comprehends with. The purpose of this writing is toconstruct a theory of consumer power that is compatible with democratic theory,this in order to contribute to the ongoing discussion within the discipline ofpolitical science about the third democratic transformation. A discussion that hasbeen actualized due to the democratic deficit created by the growing corporatepower and the shift of power from state to private enterprises. Besides showingfor a parallel between the democratic mechanisms that exists in the relationbetween citizens and state on the one hand, and the consumers and corporationson the other hand, this paper argues that consumers do have a great potential inregulating corporate behavior towards a higher social responsibility andawareness.

Tom Andersen (1995) utvecklade samtal där terapeut och klient tillsammans utvärderar samarbetet i terapin, samtal med reflekterande förhållningssätt som senare kom att kallas för samforskningssamtal. Samtal med ombytta roller, där terapeuten får lära av klienten. Studier har visat att samforskningssamtalen ger terapeutiska effekter med ökad känslan av samhörighet, fördjupad samskapande process och hjälper terapin framåt samt ger terapeuterna ökade kunskaper om sig själva som terapeut. Syftet med denna studie är att belysa om samforskningssamtal kan ge möjligheter och betydelse i pågående terapi och i så fall vilka.-Hur upplevdes samforskningssamtalet?-Vad fick terapeut respektive patient syn på i samforskningssamtalet?-Vilken betydelse kan samforskningssamtalet ha framöver i terapin? Två samforskningssamtal har hållits och därefter har en intervju hållits med var och en av deltagarna.

Den rådande diskursen kring tidigt uppvisat normbrytande beteende som ökad risk för fortsatt antisocialt beteende i vuxen ålder, öppnar för en viktig diskussion gällande brottsprevention - vart ska fokus för brottsprevention ligga? Fokus i denna studie ligger vid just interventioner mot normbrytande beteende på förskolenivå för att avvärja eventuell utveckling av antisocialt beteende senare i livet. Studien syftar till att presentera tidigare social preventiva projekt som utförts på förskolenivå, utvärdera dessa projekt för att generera kunskap kring vilka de väsentliga delarna i ett dylikt projekt är samt presentera hur ett socialt brottspreventivt projekt på förskolenivå bör utformas framöver. Genom en litteraturöversikt av tidigare projekt som utförts på förskolenivå resulterar denna studie i tre huvudsakliga tabeller innehållandes ålder på interventionssubjekten, programmets intensitet, riktning och typ av intervention samt huvudsakliga resultat. Studien påvisar vikten av tidig intervention, redan på förskolenivå.

Bakgrund: Ospecifik ländryggssmärta är en av de vanligaste orsakerna till att man söker hjälp inom primärvården. För långvarig, ospecifik ländryggssmärta är träning ett förstahandsval och fokus har under det senaste årtiondet legat på bålstabiliserande träning. Psykosociala faktorer som self-efficacy och rörelserädsla kan vara viktiga att beakta vid behandlingen då de spelar en roll i hur ländryggssmärtan utvecklas. Syfte: Att undersöka hur skattad smärta, self-efficacy och rörelserädsla samt funktionsnivå förändrades hos enskilda patienter med långvarig, ospecifik ländryggssmärta under och efter en intervention i grupp med bålstabiliserande träning. Metod: Designen var en A-B-A single-subject design (SSED).

Purpose of this study is to investigate whether BBIC had an effect on the interaction between social services and schools. To find this out, a comparative study carried out between two municipalities in southern Sweden who has worked with the BBIC system different lengths of time. The empirical data is based on six qualitative interviews with heads of unit in social services, principals in secondary schools, and social workers who work with children- and youth investigations. The theoretical framework consists of Bronfenbrenners Ecology model, systems theory as organizational theory and the theory of autopoiesis, and Danermark model of collaboration. The results of the survey show that respondents do not find that their inter-organizational collaboration has been significantly affected by the implementation of BBIC, but that BBIC provides a good basis for collaboration due to the logic and structure of the system..

This thesis analyzes the effects of export subsidies on Swedish cereal export. The analyzes are based on data on cereal export from Sweden to countries outside the EU from 1990 to 2003. In 1995 Sweden became a member of the European Union. Before the membership, the Swedish agricultural policy was decoupled in a larger sense than the European CAP was, which means that the Swedish producers had decreased their production more than the European farmers. When Sweden became a member of the EU the production started to increase again to an EU level.
